This location, house and beach were great for our family vacation. The location is close to attractions but also private and quiet. The screened porch provides the perfect place to enjoy the lake in the mornings and evenings. The house had everything we needed and was beautifully decorated. The beach had lots of sand and a gentle slope. Would definitely stay again.

Just finished a family stay at this waterfront home. It has been beautifully renovated and very spacious for the 9 of us. The sliver of land with waterfront access is small but we had a boat to do some exploring of the lake which made the location of this home awesome. I wish towels and bedding were better appointed. Bleach stained sheets and tattered bath towels in an upscale home seemed odd. Overall the host was very easy to communicate with and our issues were made known.

Overall, my family had a great vacation, and the house added to that experience. The house was fabulous, the property was terrific and the location great. However, there was one challenge that we faced at the house and at times it was very difficult. The lack of air conditioning during this time made our vacation difficult but especially at night when attempting to sleep. We followed the homeowner's instructions regarding what to do to keep the house cool since there was no air conditioning. All windows were opened, fans running but there was no breeze off the lake. In fact, the air did not move at all; it was dead air the entire week we were there. And there was extreme heat that week. While during the day we could go in the water or were at venues with air conditioning, at night sleeping in such heat was very difficult. After the first night, the temperatures did not drop below 70. Again, except for that the house is wonderful.

We loved this home! The location on the lake is excellent and the house exceeded expectations in comfort and spaciousness. The only downside we experienced was we happened to visit during a pretty extreme heat wave and with no AC, the house got quite warm. We cooled off in the lake though, had great family time and made fun memories!

We had a great weekend with college friends celebrating a wedding. The dockage was great for our 24’ boat with plenty of room and water depth. House is fantastic. Beautiful location. What more to say?!

For our stay, we had three generations of family, including our children and their growing crew of boys (ages 8 months to 5 years). We were really delighted with the house. It was spacious, clean, and finished in a way that felt nice without creating anxiety about causing harm. The location was great. We enjoyed the yard, the sandy entrance to the water, the views (from the dock in particular) and the easy access to area restaurants and attractions. Docking our boat was easy as the dock was well protected from currents and the water was generously deep there. All around this was a great stay and a great value for a week on the lake at a really nice property.

The location on the Lake is fabulous; great for kayaking, paddle-boarding, boating & swimming, with spectacular views. The entry into the water is sandy and easy for young children and older adults. The area near the small island was an enjoyable place for snorkeling with children. The house is spacious with a good layout for large groups; perfect for a multigenerational holiday. The bunk house was a good space for young adults. Issues: (1) The listing notes a fire pit along w/ a photo; however, there is no fire pit and fires are not permitted on the sand (wholly understandable). We purchased firewood and s’more components in advance of our stay. The listing should be updated. (2) Despite photos of a wooden swim raft in the listing, this property does not have a swim raft for use. (3) House rules require perishables be removed upon check-out, but there was a lot of food left in the freezer (popsicles, meat), refrigerator (the entire door was filled with partially used items) and cabinets (open cereal), significantly limiting the available space for use. We had occasion to reach out to Anne via phone & text re: other house issues; she timely responded via text. Other issues: lights on bottom bunks not working; replacing batteries in chirping smoke alarms; unattached smoke alarms throughout the house; two loose dock boards need to be nailed down. Blinds for windows in the main floor & upstairs hall bathrooms & bunkhouse are recommended given the proximity to neighbors.

What a great week. Had my family and my brothers family so lots of kids. Sandy bottom when you walk out on the lake was great. Screened in porch was awesome for morning and night time games. Got good use out of the fire pit too. Girls loved the bunk house. Accommodations inside and outside were just perfect! Would definitely recommend!

Our stay was wonderful. We throughly enjoyed the home as it was so welcoming and clean. The kitchen was well equipped with anything we may need and the layout is absolutely perfect. The home is actually more beautiful than the pictures. The area was quite and peaceful with a beautiful view and accessibility to the lake. I highly recommend and would absolutely book again if the opportunity arises. Communication with the owner was excellent as well.
