We (13 senior adults - church group) were very pleased with the property overall. We were disappointed that the 4 twin beds listed on the site were 3 roll-away cots. Due to this some of the female guests had to share beds. Also my room was missing pillow cases and we were short a few towels. The extra towels and linens were delivered promptly.

This property worked well for our group of 16. Plenty of space to spread out and enough beds for everyone. Highly recommend this property

Great house and accomodation host! Would definitely book again :)

We are a Bible study group, that is more like family, with ladies of varying ages and mobility abilities, and this restored, historic estate was wonderful for us!!! We greatly enjoyed our time together and we greatly appreciated the communication with the host when a minor DVD player issue came up, we also appreciated that he took the time to share a little bit about the history of the house and the area with us. We would definitely recommend this home to others!

Our family stayed for a short weekend to visit the Ark Encounter. We were greeted by a historic home that has been remodeled beautifully.
Everyone had space to move, and we really enjoyed spending time together as a family.
We will definitely be suggesting this as a place for others to stay!

We absolutely loved staying at our location!
Perfect rooms and house with plenty of opportunities for everyone and plenty of options for sleeping arrangements and parking as well as great location! Close to the Ark and within range from the creation Museum! Such a great family atmosphere for all ages! Hope to be back soon with another group visit! Thank you for being so extremely thoughtful and accommodating!!

This truly is the perfect space for large families like ours. 20 family members in one house - no problem! There was plenty of room for everyone to join together or have time to themselves. Great location if you are looking to visit THE ARK. It is right around the corner. Host was quick with responses when we reached out to confirm details. Overall this was a wonderful getaway for our family.

Spacious and clean historic home. Short walk to downtown Williamston and less than 5 minute drive to the Ark encounter.

I was bringing a group of teenagers and chaperones to see the ark from out of state. This location was perfect for separating the boys and girls of the group with the upper and lower floors. The large kitchen and living room was a great spot to meet and have group times together. Great communication from Jeremiah the whole time. Thanks so much!

This property is beautiful and in a great location for visiting the Ark. We would definitely stay there again.

Just as described! Easy access and wonderful amenities, would stay here again for sure!

The house was very clean and comfortable for our group of 20. They could certainly add supplies to complete the house when 20 people are staying.
There were only two washcloths and some paper towels in the kitchen. No dish towels or dish clothes.
The kitchen pans were some type of non-stick material and very scratched. Stainless steal would be a much better option.
There was not enough seating in the kitchen/dinning area to seat us all. We carried a table down from the second floor, however it was very rickety and we were nervous it would hold up.
There were four twin cots, but no blankets to be found, only sheets.
We found a port-a-crib in the kitchen closet, but again, no bedding.
The beds were very comfortable! I meant to look at the brand for our next purchase.
The location of the house was easy to get to off the expressway.
The back door would not stay shut unless you used the deadbolt, it was a very windy weekend so it kept blowing open. And with kids playing outside it wasn’t convenient to keep unlocking the door for them.
All in all we were happy with our stay. Although the host was not accommodating on early arrival or late departure. We even offered to pay for extra time. They did say we could extend our stay another night, but not a couple hours.
I did reach out to the host while we were at the house and they responded quickly. That was nice.
Our weekend was a success, however I would not use this host for the next time.

We had a great week at this home! We were able to walk to the adorable downtown area each day and check out the different shops. The location is close to a nice park for kids and also the Ark. The home was well furnished and stocked with amenities that came in handy. We learned this too late in our stay but if you run out of anything like toilet paper or paper towels message the host and he will get those items to you.
The listing does say there is a lot of acres and a pond to walk to but the small grass area is on a steep sloop and the walk to the pond is thru a dense forest area which wasn't an enjoyable walk with little ones and lots of mosquitoes so I wouldn't say it is a lot of land to have kids roam and play on. We spent most of our time at the local park or the kids played in the parking lot area (but make sure they are supervised bc it's on a busy corner.) There is an outdoor patio area with a grill that was awesome to sit and enjoy and also a patio attached to the house for the adults to enjoy in the evenings.
All in all this is a fabulous property and great host! Thanks for having us.

We brought a church group to visit the Ark Encounter and enjoy some other activities in the area and this was the perfect location to house our large group. I would definitely recommend for other groups looking for a place to stay!

The Ark Encounter
We brought a group of about 19 to The Ark Encounter. The house was perfect and absolutely gorgeous. We loved our stay! So close to the Ark! We will definitely recommend and come again.

Great house for families visiting the Ark
We loved whoever decorated the home, lots of great quotes and functionality for a family. Only recommendation I would have is to offer kitchen towels so that we don't have to use your nice white ones..other than that had a great time!

The Ark Adventure
Great home for a large family gathering, only minutes from The Ark Encounter. Plenty of room for everyone. Everything has been remodeled and is in good condition. The entertainment system was fantastic! There was an issue with mouse droppings, but I'm sure they will get that taken care of.
