Recently renovated and set in a large old Blue Mountains landmark property on one acre of gardens in Wentworth Falls, this apartment offers a stunning vista over southside Wentworth Falls and backs directly onto the Charles Darwin reserve and walk, yet is also only a leisurely 10 minute walk to the local village.
This is a fully separated apartment, spread out over 75sq m, including a bespoke, private 15sq m verandah to enjoy the vista. It`s a very liveable space with its full size kitchen ( incl full laundry ), bathroom and living area. It’s also wonderfully warm with a large split system aircon and lots of natural light.
With views from every window you will feel a world away, and set in a building that is large enough to guarantee a high level of privacy, it’s a genuine retreat without the resort level price tag.
Being really close to everything of relevance in the wonderful Blue Mountains district ( its only 2 mins drive off the highway ), means it is easy to access and enjoy the many walks, cafes and restaurants nearby and makes for a great base for explorations further afield. The nearby bush walks in Wentworth Falls really are among the most spectacular in the mountains and the Charles Darwin Walk can be directly accessed from the backyard of this property ( this walk is now half open after many years of repairs )
Fully equipped and totally self-catering with a self check-in procedure, everything is in place for a great home away from home experience or as many guests have used already, a great during the week work environment as well. Private off street parking & good WiFi.
This apartment is located on the same property as the also listed Suenaga Suite and Haiku Hut in case you want to sync up your stay with another couple/s or friends.

( Please Note: there are some building works happening in an adjacent property nearby starting from September 2023 as a new dwelling gets constructed which takes place Mon-Fri until further notice. So far this has had minimal impact on guests staying at the property with most of the noisy work having been done already ). *Updated 1/1/2024

My husband and I had a short break mid week at The Origami Apartment in Wentworth Falls September 2024. The apartment was spacious, very clean and comfortable. Amazingly beautiful views from the rooms. It looks over our gorgeous Australian bush and gardens. It was an easy walk to the township, pub and many walking tracks. I would recommend to anyone. What a beautiful apartment. The Origami was very clean and has everything you need. Perfect for 2 people with lots of privacy, basic essentials in the kitchen with lots of cookware. Deep bath in a nice bathroom. We loved all the ornaments and the ambience the apartment offered. Heating was great and the view from the back deck was peaceful. The location is only a short walk to the village. Luke was very prompt in answering any questions prior to our stay and the welcome guide that he has put together is most helpful. Will recommend to anyone visiting the area. Thank you for having us! We hope to be back

Everything about this place was spot on. I couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. It felt very relaxed and clean while also having character to create a unique atmosphere. Will definitely be returning for another stay.

With quirky little Japanese and retro touches, this apartment was sparling clean and toasty warm. The beautiful deep bath and the extremely comfortable bed supplied me with much needed relaxation. A property I will certainly return to.

This was lovely. Furnished with comfort and fun, quiet, secure and lovely and warm. We were there during a cold snap but we toasty with the reverses cycle air con, extra heaters and plenty of blankets and throws to snuggle up in. Lovely township view from the back balcony too! It's a short walk to the dear little hamlet of Wentworth Falls where you can get delicious food and excellent coffee.

Beautifully furnished apartment close to all tourist attractions in the Blue Mountains. Good communication from hosts with check in instructions and other information about towns and restaurants nearby. Will definitely stay again!

We travelled to the Blue Mountains to take part in the UTA trail running series. The Origami Apartmebt was the perfect base for this and many other activities. The Apartment was beautifully presented. We really appreciated the excellent amenities, in particular the effective heating system, the large kitchen and sunlit back deck with wonderful views, the large bath (for soaking tired limbs after the run) and the proximity to the local bushwalks. All in all an excellent place to stay and one we would highly recommend.

My partner and I were enamoured as soon as we pulled into the driveway. The location is stunning! The accommodation is so well pieced together with everything that anyone may need for a revitalising getaway. The Oramgi Apartment is very conveniently situated in the mountains, everything that we needed and wanted was easily accessible. The views were peaceful. The inside was warm and welcoming. The furniture all comfortable enough to melt into. Our comminucation with the host was well recieved and clear, and we were prepared with everything we needed for a hassle free holiday. We greatly appreciated the manuals and helpful local hints! Thanks for the great stay.

Host was amazing and had clear instructions. The property was beautiful. It had a lot of art and displays which was cool. The place was very clean. The bathtub was very big and nice. Lots of hot water. The bathroom has those light heaters. They even provide a hairdryer. The kitchen was large and had everything you'd want. The bed was comfortable rated around 8.5/10 in firmness so firm but still fine. I prefer it firmer than softer. Comfortable couch with an ottomon type thing to put up your legs. They have a verandah that goes out from the kitchen overlooking the nice greenery nature. It's beautiful. I would recommend this place. Quiet comfortable clean.

The place was clean, comfortable and very cozy. Our only regret was staying for only a night, hope we stayed longer. It was so cozy hanging out in the living room and the view from the balcony was relaxing. Thanks, Luke for letting us stay in the Origami.

Walking into Luke’s property is a little like walking into the past. It’s filled with very vintage furnishings mixed with Japanese decorative touches thru out including the deep bath to soak in. Worked wonders for me after my hiking in the mountains. Beautiful view to look out at sitting in the Kitchen. Overall a lovely cabin style apartment with all of the creature comforts needed to feel at home

This was our second stay at Lukes. We stayed three nights at the start of our trip to Australia in the Suenaga suite and because it was such an amazing experience we came back at the end of our trip for another three nights, this time in the Origami apartment. The apartment was as wonderful as the first one but with the added bonus of a deck with an amazing view. Lukes is the place to stay if you want to explore the blue mountains but return afterwards to a peaceful accommodation where you can chill and rest up for the next day. Highly recommended!

Place was incredible. The more you absorbed it, the more you realise this is a labour of love for the owners. The decor is fascinating and the views are spectacular. Definitely would love to return at some point in the future. For once, this is a property where the pictures on the listing are a true reflection of the property

Lovely place about 2 minutes off the main road through the mountains. Clean and spacious, and the a/c worked a treat on a weekend nearing 40 degrees. Wouldn’t hesitate to stay there again. Highly recommended.

Absolutely gorgeous space! Honestly, the photos almost don't do it justice. I was a little worried about staying in a place connected to a home but it was lovely and private - had no issues. Would definitely come back again if I'm ever in the Blue Mountains.

Lovely apartment, quite spacious, clean and comfortable. Easy access (thru path) to train…a little further on the road, but 12 minutes max to station. The owner is extremely accommodating and helpful. A great place to relax for a few days (or longer!).

The Origami apartment was perfect. It was more than we imagined from the photos. It was spacious, warm (we travelled in winter), uniquely decorated and immaculately clean. The modern bath was perfect to soak in after a day of hiking. Perfectly located to walk to local attractions or get on the Great Western Freeway. Tranquil, with visiting wildlife and traffic or neighborhood noise. The kitchen was well equipped and functional. A great area I could sit in the morning with a coffee and take in the view without disturbing my husband who loves a sleep in. We still have more to see in the Blue Mountains and would stay again.
