All of us had a great time and the place was extremely comfortable. The area has plenty of great golf courses and food within a short 30 minute drive and a quick 5 minute walk to the beach.

Great location within walking distance to the beach!

We loved the unit! We had a mixed group - adults, kids, a dog. Each group was pleased with the accommodations. Easy beach access, all the kitchen accoutrements we could need, comfortable furniture, and plenty of seating. Beds were plentiful and comfortable, as well. Our weather wasn't great, but the property had lots of games, books, and movies available to keep us occupied when it rained. Definitely recommend.

There was limited things to love about this rental
We did truly appreciate the pool and washer dryer on site

We enjoyed our stay at the Sleepover. The property management was extremely attentive and quick to respond at all hours. We definitely felt the house was inviting and set up well for pets. Cleanliness could be improved but it wasn’t a huge factor.

Wonderful location. The pool was better than I expected and so was the outdoor shower. The rooms were clean and so were the bathrooms. They added a little soap in each of the bathrooms, which was a very nice touch.
Very satisfied with the kitchen. I found it to be well equipped.
It’s nice to be able to hear the water in the evening. That’s how close you are to the ocean.
Beautiful beach.

I received my doctorate from Regent University on May 6, and 2023 and needed a house large enough to accommodate my family of 12. This property had enough beds for everyone to have their own beds. It was an amazing experience to stay at “The Sleepover.” Thank you for the opportunity to stay at one of your properties.

The house's location was great! Back gate to pathway to oceanfront was very convenient and the walk was very short to beach access. Back yard was really large and perfect for those traveling with pets. Pool was larger than most vacation rentals I've stayed in and really enjoyed the pool games (basketball/volleyball) and floats available.
The house itself was much smaller than I anticipated and for a group of 8 adults, 1 baby and 2 dogs, it was quite cramped. There was no where to really have a large group sitting together (no real dining room table and the sitting room area had limited seating. We love to play games while at the beach, but unless we sat on uncomfortable stools around kitchen island, there really wasn't space condusive to games. We actually re-arranged furniture while there to allow for better flow and space to move around.
As others have pointed out, the house is in need of some TLC and some additional outside deck seating would be nice. For a smaller group, this would have been a perfect rental. The yard and pool and location made up for the house issues though.

Second year in a row at this house, and this year was a downer. We had to sweep the entire house to clean the pet hair and sand when we arrived. The house is falling apart and needs a lot of fixing up in just a year. Leaking roof, chipped walls and paint, old clothes left in the dresser drawers. Was a disappointing stay

The house was spacious, well-appointed and comfortable. The pool was well maintained and clean. When the temperature outside was 96 degrees, it stayed at 72 degrees inside, even upstairs. The cable and WiFi worked very well; there were wall mounted TV's in every bedroom. The beds and furniture were comfortable and of good quality.
My only criticisms are:
1. There was a lot of trash in the yard that we picked up.
2. The bath linens provided were VERY thin and cheap. With the Service Fees totaling over $1,000, I would have expected hotel quality linens.
3. There is a roof leak over the kitchen window that ran over the counter tops during a thunderstorm.

The house had great space for our group, and the pool was bigger than we expected (though we couldn’t ever find switches for the jets or the pool light). However, there are quite a few spots of water damage in the kitchen ceiling (one of which, the ceiling was actually peeling away and located directly above an electrical outlet — yikes!) and there were quite a bit of dead bugs throughout the common areas, as well as remnants of bugs on the ceilings and walls that we ended up cleaning off ourselves to avoid having to look at it. There are also a couple of soft spots in the floors in front of both the front door and the sliding glass door that felt iffy to walk on, so we tried to step over them, and the wood trim around some doors was in rough shape. The day after we arrived, a large piece of wood in the walkway downstairs leading to the pool rotted out and fell through, and it took a few days to have that fixed (which was not ideal considering we had small children and dogs). The carpet upstairs in the loft area is in dire need of replacement and is coming up on both sides of the room where it meets the wall. Access doors to the attic weren’t properly secured, which wasn’t great for a space designed for children. In one of the bathrooms, there were jagged (broken?) tiles around the bottom of the tub, so we avoided letting the little ones bathe in there. The kitchen was well stocked with plenty of pans and countertop appliances, which was great and the grill outside was in good shape and large. A couple of chairs for the front porch would be a great addition as it was a nice spot to watch the sunset. A little bit of love could go a long way with this house.

Everything about this house was perfect. The only thing that could make it better is to pick it up and move it ocean front! - no worries though, it’s a very easy, and short walk to the beach!! The small local Sandbridge restaurants were amazing! Most in walking distance. The beach was nice and quiet! Really close to Virginia Beach, but with the Naval Base, the drive ends up being about 30 minutes. Totally worth not staying in the crowded heart of Virginia Beach. X

Overall we had a great stay at The Sleepover beach house. It was a quick walk to the beach, the pool was nice, with a big fenced in back yard. We enjoyed the garage area, with games included.
Some negative point:
Cleanness upon arrival. housekeeping needs to take more time and focus on getting the animal hair, dust and sand up out of the floor.
Minor repairs around the house, Clogged drains.
Outdoors little furniture on the deck, glass around the pool area. Nails coming up through the decking boards, safety hazards

Overall we had a great stay at The Sleepover beach house. It is a quick walk to the beach, has a fabulous pool, and a wonderful fenced in back yard area. We enjoyed the garage area that has some games including ping pong. The kids loves the loft area upstairs. It was a nice setup and had plenty of room for our family of 9. Only negatives: It could use some paint and minor repairs around the house. And it had very little outdoor furniture on the decks. There is none on the front porch and only four plastic chairs and small table on the back porch. That is not nearly enough for a house that sleeps up to 13 people.

Lovely home, great location!
Check in & out was super easy. We had one very minor issue with the pool upon arrival and the Vacasa rep had the property mgr out quickly to help & then followed up to ensure our issue had been resolved. Everyone was very friendly & helpful! The location is fantastic. 3rd house from the beach with the public access walkway just on the otherside of the fence! There’s even a gate to the walkway from the backyard - can’t get much more convenient. Sandbridge Beach is beautiful and a lot less crowded than other beaches we’ve been to. The weather didn’t cooperate too much with us so we were really appreciative to have the pool to enjoy in between rain showers. We had a lot of fun with the basketball net. We have a younger kiddo who is still a newer swimmer, so I was glad they had a nice large shallow end to play in (eased my anxiety!). The garage had a ping pong table, foosball, pool rafts/toys, beach items (chairs, umbrella, etc) and tons of other outdoor toys/activities like can slam, frisbee, slammo, etc. The backyard even has a horseshoe pit. The back deck has a dining table & BBQ, which was great, and you can even see the ocean in between the homes - you can definitely hear it too! The home is not new construction, but is well maintained. We loved the kitchen with large island open to the living room. Kitchen is very well stocked. The only thing I couldn’t find was a vegetable peeler, but was not a big deal. We cooked most of our meals during the week without issue. Loved sitting at the island to eat and being able to watch TV if we wanted. The dresser below the living room TV had puzzles, DVDs & books and the little reading nook on the landing up to the loft offered more books and games. Rooms are lovely, beds comfortable & bathrooms nice with decent water pressure in the showers. Kids will love the loft area with beds & “private” living room. Washer/dryer in laundry downstairs look brand new and worked great! I’m pretty sure there’s a large screen TV in every bedroom as well as the living room. All are equipped with cable. Wifi is reliable and supported both myself working remotely and our child’s virtual school without issue. The home is a short walk/drive to Baja restaurant and we highly recommend an early morning drive to the Sandbridge Seaside Market for their freshly baked doughnuts! They open at 5:30am and you’ll want to get there early as they sell out fast! Simply the best!! The store is also well stocked with much of what you might need, including adult beverages and beach toys/needs. There are also tons of big box stores - grocery, target, bed bath & beyond, Home Depot, etc. - as well as lots of restaurants within just a 10-15min drive. All in all, despite the disappointing weather, we had a wonderful time at the Sleepover! The home is lovely and the location is awesome! We look forward to a return visit!

I spent a long Ellen's here celebrating my dad's retirement and it was a perfect, cozy house. It's one block from the beach and the fenced backyard was great for our dog! The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen was a great gathering/cooking space. Check in was very easy and the neighborhood was nice and quiet.
