Reviewer Comments:
Cabin # 9 was a perfect cabin for our fall getaway. I loved the location and can imagine in the summer it would be spectacular with the south facing beach and sun all day long. The cabin was well kept and had enough supply to cook anything you desire. My only recommendation would be hooks or a closet to hang up things. We didn’t have anywhere to hang our jackets aside from the back of the chairs. There’s a closet but no rail. Also some hooks on the back of the doors for towels. One more dresser in the 2nd bedroom would be nice as well. Otherwise a great place for a family.

Reviewer Comments:
A perfect cabin experience in a beautiful setting. The cabin was exactly what we wanted a cabin to be--wood, decor, great view right on the lake. It was so nice to make ourselves at home with all of the amenities. So much fun to use the kayaks and have our dog play on the beach and in the water. We loved the Clearview Supper Club in St. Germain, and Bond Falls over the border in Michigan.

Reviewer Comments:
We recently stayed at Birchwood Resort. We booked our stay back in February 2021,when the cabins were under construction. We were told at that time things would be done prior to our arrival. We were looking forward to cabins next to each other because we have two members of our family that have a difficult time getting around as well as a few little kids that go to bed earlier than others and need naps, so we preferred cabins together so we could still enjoy campfires and beach time together without someone having to stay behind during nap or bedtime. I had inquired several times about updates on the cabins and what the bed situation would be like. I received no answers. However, there were several disappointments, some of the things that were appealing to this particular booking were absent. We were supposed to have two cabins together (cabin 8 and 9), I had to again email three times to get updated information on the units and then finally received an email saying that one of the cabins may not be ready for our stay, while we understand there have been delays due to Covid, there should have been more clear communication on the condition of the units and resort. The evening before our arrival I got a phone call saying that one of the cabins would not be ready and we had to move to another unit three doors down, this was unfortunate news but what were we going to do at that point.Upon arrival Cabin 8 did not have a washer and dryer as we were told it would, the back bathroom was not finished it was raw drywall, the ceiling was completely open to the ductwork and roof, there was no AC hooked up yet, there was no hardware on the cabinets (which made it difficult to get to supplies) The outside of the cabins was another issue, there was large holes and unfinished things on the outside of the cabins. This property should not be rented out at these prices until finish.
