Anna Maria Island’s noise ordinance aims to ensure citizens can enjoy a peaceful environment. The ordinance applies to all areas of the city, including public and private property, and places of business. It defines noise as any sound that annoys or disturbs a reasonable person of ordinary sensibilities or causes or tends to cause an adverse physical or psychological effect on such reasonable person. The noise ordinance limits the maximum permissible noise levels to:
7 AM–10 PM: 65 decibels: (Consistently shouting in the pool exceeds 65 decibels)
10 PM–7 AM: 50 decibels: (An audible conversation from 50’ or 15 meters away exceeds 50 decibels)
The ordinance also prohibits plainly audible noise, which refers to any sound that can be clearly heard by a person using their normal hearing faculties. This means that a person can still be in violation if the noise can be easily heard by responding officers from a distance of 100 feet from the property line. Fines for excessive noise can range from $100 to $1,000.

My kids and their families flew in from all over to meet myself and my husband to celebrate my birthday, this house was truly a vacation Paradise. The rental company was so helpful and very accommodating. All of our needs. I highly recommend Island Realty along with this house, I hope to be renting it next year.

This was our second year renting this house. We love it because it accommodates our crew of eleven people ( six adults and 5 children) very well. The four youngest kids sleep in the bunk bedroom while the oldest has her own bunk bed room. Three adult couples have their own room and bathroom. Kids can eat at large table on the porch and adults can eat at large dining room table inside. It takes only minutes to walk to the most beautiful beach on the island or zip there in a second by golf cart. The neighborhood is beautiful. The pool and spa are icing on the cake!

Really enjoyed our stay here. The bedding accommodations were excellent. A cool snap came while we were there, so it was great having the hot tub that flowed into the pool. A short walk to the beach and to the pier. Could use more silverware though. Was only a service of 8, there were 15 of us. But we made it work.

We had a wonderful stay at our Summer Breeze home. We were two families vacationing together with a total of 14 people. The home was extremely clean, our check-in was a breeze. The home sleeps 12 with the additional bed sleeping 14 being a pull out couch in the downstairs bedroom with outside access to the pool. The home's kitchen was very stocked with crockpot, Keurig coffee machine, lots of pots and pans that we used all week to cook. They provided pool towels which was wonderful and their linens on all the beds were very high quality and the beds were all very comfortable. I would say the mattresses were up to Marriott standards. We did have a few things not go as planned but management responded quickly and tried to make it right the best they could. When we arrived the dishwasher was not in working order. They did send out a technician but unfortunately we were there the whole week without a dishwasher. Management did send over plenty of paper goods and plasticware to compensate us. The upstairs AC seemed to not cool as much as the downstairs unit. The heat has been extra hot here in Florida and we did have a lot of guest in the house. The home is a few blocks walk from the northside of the beach island and very close walking distant to the pier. We rented a golf cart for the week so that was very nice too. There's plenty of parking space. I would say this home exceeded my expectations especially for the price we paid. We had a lovely time. AMI 2023

This house was perfect for 1 set of grandparents and 2 families. Loved having 3 King sized beds, huge screened in porch and fantastic dining room table and kitchen area. Only reason didn’t give 5 stars was because the dishwasher broke on the second day and even though someone came to fix it that day, it wasn’t actually fixed and nooone ever showed up to resolve the problem. ( We were told that someone would come but they didn’t show up the second time.) Might be a shortage of workers available but feel like property manager should have checked to make sure problem resolved. Felt like the property itself was a wonderful place to stay overall!

The home was beautiful and thr property was perfect, clean, and well maintained throughout the week. We were so close to the beach on either side of the island and walked there several times a day. A quick rinse off at the outdoor shower and we spend the later half of our days lounging by the sun-filled pool. There were lots of restaurants and places to pick up food. I highly recommend renting bikes and exploring the island. We even managed to walk to the farmers market and get fresh fruits, pasta, salsa and more.
The rooms were big, so many washrooms with fantastic showers. Our kids really enjoyed the space of the double bunk bed room and never objected to bedtime. The screened in porch is where we spend most mornings and evening playing cards, watching the hockey games and just enjoying each other's company. A perfect family getaway.
We can't wait to return again next year!

The positives of this house: spacious, good layout for a multi-family group and a great pool for kids. It’s a good location, close to Bean Point. Unfortunately, the house is poorly maintained. I had seen the previous 3 star review (posted after we booked) about the state of the furniture, and I specifically asked property management about it a few weeks before our stay. I was assured all issues had been resolved. That was not true. Wow, was the couch disgusting. We were too grossed out to sit on it - it honestly looked like it lived in a frat house basement for years. We don’t expect luxury as a group with young kids, but when we spend this much on a property, we expect it to be clean and well-maintained. The porch was filthy, there was hair in the shower drain, pans crusted with burnt food, big industrial paint cans in the outdoor shower, broken towel racks, cheap (polyester?) sheets on the beds. I had expressed my dissatisfaction to the prop manager early in the stay re: the couch and cleanliness, and they were apologetic and supplied extra sheets for us to drape over the couch. I never asked for compensation (that wasn’t my goal), but they proactively reached out to me to ask me what I wanted for compensation. I suggested a figure, they offered me a small fraction of that BUT ONLY IF I SIGNED AN AGREEMENT THAT I WOULDN'T LEAVE A DISPARAGING REVIEW (I did not accept the compensation). We’ve stayed in other houses on AMI and had much better experiences.

First, let me say that for a big family this house had a great layout. Big kitchen and nice bedrooms and bathrooms. Housekeeping did a good job cleaning the home.
What was terribly disappointing was the condition of all the furniture/cushions. The outside furniture cushions were filthy as were the kitchen chair cushions and the couch. There is a big screened in porch that has been terribly abused and is in desperate need of a coat of paint.
The mgmt company told me they were going to reach out to the owners and tell them they need to replace all outside cushions and suggest new furniture. Also, don't expect good instructions on how to use things on property. There is no pool table or foosball table. As a family we were able to put aside the bad and enjoy the pool and beautiful island of Anna Maria and our time together. If you are renting this unit soon I would suggest you find out if upgrades to furniture have been made and all work orders have been completed.
