About this house rental
5 Bedrooms, 3.5 Bathrooms, Sleeps 8
Stay a few days for a quick getaway, or enjoy an extended experience for a week or a month for a significant discount.
Our property has the best of both worlds, a quiet place to simply stay and rest or a place to use as your home base while you actively explore the beautiful area and great outdoors for the full Lake Tahoe experience. You can relax and enjoy the filtered views from the deck, situated among the treetops, or visit the nearby village, beaches, casinos, hiking trails, fishing spots or golf resort, which are all within only 5 - 10 minutes away (most local attractions and places to explore are within 2 miles from the house).
Things To Do:
Take your pick from a variety of things to do nearby. Spend quiet time on your own doing something creative, share quality time with your family and friends on property in comfortable shared space, or go out and explore nearby hiking trails, fishing or golfing, rent a water craft (boat, wave runners, paddle boards, kayaks) at a nearby popular local beach resort like Zephyr Cove Resort where you can also catch the cruise across the lake on the M.S. Dixie, or just lounge by the lake and swim. If you are looking for entertainment, there are several entertainment venues and restaurants just minutes away at the Stateline resorts and casino area.
For a little change of scenery, you can quickly get to the charming town of Genoa, just on the other side of the mountain, where you will find the oldest bar in Nevada. If you have the time, you should take day trips to explore all around Lake Tahoe, visit Reno, and you might even like to experience the historic wild west town of Virginia City, a bona fide frontier boomtown. Whatever your appetite is, for adventure or tranquility, this is the perfect spot to have it all. (This can also be a home base for a small group of athletes to do high altitude training).
Quiet and Comfortable:
The house is newly remodeled and is located in a quiet neighborhood, not far from the Stateline resorts and casinos, Edgewood Tahoe golf resort, Zephyr Cove Resort and beach, and much more. The property is situated against a hillside, set back from the neighboring houses for a more private experience. The exterior walkway is a gradual incline from the driveway and garage area leading up to the house, and then there is an exterior stairway leading up to the front entrance. Once inside, there is one interior stairway for the reverse floor plan. The first level has 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, and the second level includes the master bedroom and bathroom, living room, kitchen, dining area, half bathroom, laundry and pantry room, and access to the deck.
The combination of beds in the 5 bedrooms include 2 king beds, 2 queen beds, and 1 double bed. There are two full bathrooms with separate bathtubs and showers, 1 bathroom with oversize shower, and one half bathroom.
During winter months, please be prepared for winter driving conditions as we are above 6,000 feet elevation and snowpack can accumulate during winter. The streets near the home are maintained streets and are plowed regularly by the local road services if there is snow. The roads are well maintained; however, in the event of snow, you will need a four wheel drive vehicle and/or chains. We do not refund due to road conditions.

We felt very fortunate to have been able to stay at this newly remodeled home. It felt spacious while at the same time cozy and welcoming. We enjoyed our coffee each morning from the deck among the evergreen trees.

This home was beautiful! The living/dining/kitchen was perfect for hanging out together. We really enjoyed watching the snow fall through the windows!
Bedrooms were comfy and the kitchen was well stocked. In fact, the entire house was well stocked with toiletries, towels and everything you might need.
We have rented lots of vacation homes and this was definitely one of the cleanest, nicest and most fun. (Bonus—no ridiculous chore list for check out!) If you’re wondering whether to go for this one, I recommend reserving it asap!

Every year for Thanksgiving we come to Tahoe to spend time with our family. This year we stayed at this cabin. Before the trip we messaged the home owners and they were very responsive and would get back to us within 2 hours which was very helpful. Once arriving at the cabin, we were welcomed with a beautiful clean cabin. There was the perfect amount of space for our family of 8. This cabin was the perfect getaway but was still very close to casinos, Chart house and J T basque Restaurant. We will recommend this cabin to family and friends. Thank you for a great stay!

Beautiful property on a quiet street. Very clean, possibly newly remodeled. And the kitchen is nicely outfitted for cooking in. The stairs are steep and numerous, making it a challenge to load our suitcases, ice chest and groceries into the house. Not everyone would be able to handle the stairs, especially considering the high altitude of Tahoe. But we had a great stay. The house is lovely.

For the past 18 years we have visited Lake Tahoe and this property is by far one of our favorites. The home is clean, up-to-date and has every amenity you could possibly want. Dana and Loran were great hosts and were quick to respond to any questions that we had prior to and during our stay.
The home is a short drive to all the South Shore entertainment and attractions but feels like you are secluded and away from it all; which we loved the most.
We highly recommend this property, and we will be reaching out to Dana and Loran soon to secure our dates from next summer.

We had a great weekend in Tahoe with friends. House is newly updated, super clean and well appointed. Very roomy, with plenty of couches, two large refrigerators, patio chairs etc for our group of 7 adults. Word of caution...there are a TON of steep stairs both inside and outside. Our group had no problem , though we were sure tired after moving in, but it would be tricky for families with small kids or people who are not very mobile. We would absolutely stay here again!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The house is fantastic and with all of our needs provided. High end furnishings and appliances. Just be aware that there are considerable amounts of stairs as we were told in the listing. Quiet neighborhood but minutes from casinos, golf course, ski areas and South Lake Tahoe. Owners were very responsive to any questions we had. Highly recommend.

You will not regret your stay here. This property is the most beautiful cabin I’ve stayed in Tahoe. The home has many rooms, a large kitchen, spacious living and dining spaces, and lovely bathrooms. The entire house was very clean. I stayed here with 7 other friends and each was so impressed with the home. The hosts were also very wonderful and always responded to my messages within 5-10 mins. They care deeply about the guests who stay at their home — we couldn’t find the laundry detergent and paper towels, so they Doordashed these items immediately to us without even us asking! When I come back to Tahoe to ski (this cabin is a short 15 mins from Heavenly California side), this cabin will be the first one I look at to see if it has availability.

We stayed at this beautiful property on new years weekend when there was a huge winter storm, Dana reached out to see if we needed help clearing out the driver way and she offered to send her maintaince to do so, that was very nice of her she really didn’t have to and we took her offer, that amount of snow that fell in two nights was something we had never seen in our 7 years spending new years in Tahoe !! We will definitely be back !

We stayed at Dana and Loran’s beautiful home over Christmas this year and it was absolutely lovely. The layout was perfect for our 6 total guests (although could accommodate more), the location was incredibly convenient to activities in Stateline and Lake Tahoe, and the home itself was inviting, cozy, and great for making meals for our group. Dana and Loran were incredibly communicative and helpful hosts and answered all of our questions. They even sent us some Tahoe brochures ahead of time. I’d recommend staying here to anyone interested in a relaxing, comfortable and enjoyable time in Tahoe!

We loved our trip to Tahoe and this home was our hub for the entire trip. It’s perfectly located close to hiking, shopping, and the casinos. The pictures are an accurate representation and it was a little bigger than we were expecting. The porch is large and perfect for your morning coffee. Would definitely recommend this home to any of my family or friends!!

The time spent at this home was amazing! It was spacious, beautifully decorated had plenty of bathrooms and living space with the most relaxing porch that had a view of the trees and lake. I love Lake Tahoe and staying here made it even more wonderful. The hosts were available, communicative and made sure we had what we needed even before we arrived. It’s also located in the perfect spot from the casinos, restaurants and downtown area!

My family and I are so thankful we found this wonderful property to stay at for our summer trip to Tahoe! It's location is incredibly convenient to stateline, casinos, restaurants, shopping, the lake, activities and grocery stores. It's in a nice neighborhood that made for great morning walks, and quiet time on the porch to relax and enjoy the view. The owners were absolutely fantastic to work with, were extremely organized and welcoming, and everything was exactly as described for the home (and even exceeded our expectations). Check-in and check-out were both a breeze. The house was very clean, welcoming, and beautifully decorated. For larger groups (as ours was), it's a great floor plan for spending time together upstairs in the common areas, but also having your own space in the (mostly) downstairs bedrooms. We couldn't have been happier with our stay and will definitely be back!

Enjoyable stay
The house was spotless, the beds were comfortable. There were plenty of toiletries and paper goods. The location is close to the beaches and casinos. The area is quiet. We will definitely stay here in the future. Maria Lee and family.

We loved it!!!
This property was incredible and we are so glad our previously booked house cancelled on us so we got to stay here! It was so spacious, brand new, clean and everything we needed. We spent a lot of time at the house because the outdoor space and open indoor plan was great for hanging with friends. Also very close to stateline things to do. Would highly recommend!!!
