About this apartment rental

650 sq ft studio apartment with 1 bath. As it is a studio the bedroom with queen bed is separate but does not have a door. Living room has queen sized pull out bed with very comfortable mattress. Open concept living, dining and kitchen areas. New flagstone patio and hot tub for your enjoyment Charcoal grill and fire pit for your use. Pets allowed( must be on fleas and tick prevention and up to date with vaccines. ). Your pet can have the run of the yard as long as you supervise Pets are not to be left alone unless fully crate trained Centrally located to Saratoga and Albany, minutes to either and everything In between. About 20 - 25 minutes to race track and SPAC. Nearby golf courses, a few minutes to 12 mile Zim Smith biking / walking trail and kayak launches on the Hudson or Round Lake Nature Preserve are near by. also, mechanicville city dock now has a ramp installed for those wanting to launch their kayaks or canoes. Enjoy the gardens and many birds at the feeding stations, bird baths and nesting boxes while grilling your dinner or having your morning coffee. In town we have the ugly rooster for breakfast or lunch, the end zone pub and bubble’s restaurant. Also pizza shops, sub shops, a bakery and a confectionery. Price Chopper market 5 minutes away. Very cute and immaculate studio apartment. Has all the conveniences you would need. Sleeper couch, as comfortable as a bed. In a garden setting with the sounds of birds chirping. You walk around the back of the hosts home to access the studio, and you provided with a cart to tote your luggage. Was a wonderful stay!

Linda’s place was clean and cute! The hot tub was really nice especially on a cold winter night. It’s close to town but far enough away so that it’s peaceful! Would definitely stay again when coming back to the area!

Linda’s place was exactly as described, it was clean, comfortable and the escape I was looking for. I spent a lot of time hiking in the area and enjoyed the restaurants that were within driving distance. I would definitely recommend this place if you are looking to get away.

Stayed for a long weekend with my wife and we enjoyed every moment. The house itself is broken into 3 sections. Main house, and 2 apartment sections converted from the basement it would seem. The quaint studio that is listed is amazing! View outside was perfect with the hot tub just a few steps away. Nice and private, you hear the old house creek a bit but nothing where you feel like others are nearby or that can hear you. Highly recommended for romantic getaway or just to be away from people and into nature.

Place was clean neat and well kept i would recommend others to stay. The only negative was having to carry our belongings around to the back of the house. The entrance is in the fenced in back yard.

This property felt safe and was very clean and cozy. We came in well after dark but once we got to the unit it was easy to see the care that has been put into the property. It's surrounded by well placed plants and outdoor foliage. It was a wonderful retreat for our weary traveling selves. Truly beautiful!

The place was perfect for a friend getaway. It's all one open space so would only work for a couple or close friends. It was very clean and seemed newly renovated. Lots of towels and the kitchen was very well stocked with everything you would need. It snowed while we were there and the owners were diligent about snow-blowing the path to the apartment. About equidistant to Albany and Saratoga springs. I was very happy our stay. Thanks!

I did not get the impression that the unit was in someone's basement. The space was newly updated and clean. The main reason we went for this house was to get a soak in a hot tub and a good nights rest after traveling all weekend. We were not comfortable spending time in the hot tub with the owner right over head, so we didn't use it. The good nights rest didn't happen either. I could hear the owner moving around up stairs until after midnight. The ventless heater would start up every 15 minutes, and crackle and pop every time it cooled off. I could smell it after every ignition, I can't believe NYS is outlawing gas stoves, but lets you use those things!!! I would strongly suggest installing electric baseboard heaters. After not sleeping all night, we decided to get up early and head for home.

Booking this property was a last minute decision that I do not regret at all. The property itself was very cozy and clean. The homeowner was excellent in regards to communicating about the property and left helpful notes that we found upon arrival. It was the perfect last minute weekend getaway.

Place was super clean, with thoughtful touches all throughout the space. A lot bigger than the pics make it seem! Instructions were posted everywhere making us able to function very independently. Hot tub was clean and relaxing. Perfect home base for us as we hiked around the area.

We stayed here on a stopover for a drive from Montreal to New York City and enjoyed the greenery surrounding the house. The apartment was impeccably clean. We didn’t make use of the hotpool though because the weather was just too hot and humid. Recommended as an alternative for a stay in pretty pricy Saratoga Springs.

Linda is an incredibly responsive host and has provided all that is needed for your stay. Spotless, comfortable, nicely landscaped, bluebirds singing. Very quiet neighborhood, and the perfect location, essentially a midpoint between Albany and Saratoga. We cruised on Saratoga Lake one day, and on the Hudson out of Albany the next. With so much to do in the area, Mechanicville is a good base.

I needed to work from home and found it hard because iof distractions. I found this hideaway. Clean place. Clean sheets. Welcoming host! Was able to accomplish all I needed to get done and still Relax, enjoy hot tub, gardens, and wildlife! I will def be back !
