Enjoy the foothills of the NC Blue Ridge mountains! Cottage is within walking distance of community recreation center with walking track, swimming pool, picnic area, exercise room, playground, etc. The home is nicely furnished with special added touches! Comfortable living room with smart flat screen TV, electric fireplace, and recliner. The bedrooms have comfortable linens and fully enclosed mattresses for sanitation. Eat in kitchen with ceramic cooktop stove, microwave, ice maker refrigerator, and dual coffeemaker. There are several coffee choices available. Small port a crib with linens, umbrella stroller, and baby gate available. Quiet home in family neighborhood!

Everything was perfect and we felt right at home here at this stay. This house had everything we needed. We left something at the house after leaving but Peggy was amazing in helping us get it back. We appreciate everything about our week there. Thanks!

My daughter and I had a perfect stay while in town for her dance competition. Everything we could have needed was provided, so we only had to shop for groceries. The kitchen is well stocked with appliances and utensils. The beds are comfortable and the decor is welcoming. Every detail is perfect. It felt like both home and vacation. If ever in the area again, this is the first place we will check for availability.

Comfortable beds, well equipped kitchen, quiet neighborhood all very close to Hwy 321. The house has lovely decor and many extra touches to give it a homey feel. We also stayed at their other property a couple years ago...they do it right!

The house was easy to find and access. It was clean, comfortable, and well decorated. It had plenty of starter toiletries and other items if needed. Peggy was very responsive when we had internet issues. They were resolved by the time we returned in the evening. We would definitely stay here again.

Cottage decor was tasteful and peaceful and everything was really clean and tidy. I appreciated having a full sized fridge, kitchen and laundry while visiting family. Peggy was great about getting me the information I needed well in advance too.

We loved it. Communication was fantastic and responses were so fast for my questions. The home is very clean and decorated beautifully. We loved that at the end of the street was a paved walking trail to the recreation center. We didn’t get to use the pool but it was very clean and it had several play areas for children. Would definitely stay again.

Hudson Hide-a-way is a very nice little house; very clean, very well equipped. Manager was very responsive. However.......if you want to watch TV to catch the national news be aware: NO CABLE OR SATELLITE!!! There is a Roku TV which is difficult to use; has a long list of live channels you might eventually find, but very few of any use. Five days not being able to watch national news was too much for me. Unfortunately will not stay again.

This property was wonderful! Peggy was an amazing host, super responsive and very helpful. This home is so cozy and comfortable and Peggy has thought of everything! The neighborhood was nice and quiet. It truly felt like it was a home away from home. We will definitely be back when we come to visit family in the area.

The cottage was lovely and looks to have been recently remodeled. Comfortably furnished with nicely refurbished piece mixed in with modern pieces. Overall a great little place to stay for a visit to western NC!

We had a great stay! The home was very cozy and had EVERYTHING we could need and some extras. It was located close to a a few fast food places and a market Walmart. The neighborhood at first seemed questionable but turned out to be quite with lovely locals. We will definitely book again. The owners answered quickly to any and all questions.

Well appointed 2/1 bath home. All you need to chill out and relax. No dishwasher but supplies are there to wash everything up and ample storage for everything and anything extra you need to store out of way. Appliances all worked and in great condition. Washer and dryer are super efficient and supplies were provided and appreciated. Host got us set up with our information for check in day very timely. Such an inviting and positive feeling this home has.

The listing was just as described. There was a slight communication delay with the code to get in. Not sure if it was technical or missed messages. It was very clean and the hosts were well prepared for anything we may have missed or forgotten. Overall it was a wondeful trip.

This property has comfy decor, and is super clean. Nice touches with extras you usually don't get with rentals. (nice paper towels, coffee provided, bottled water, sippy cups for mom's that forget theirs) Owner was very responsive. Would totally visit again. Thanks Peggy!

This was the perfect house for our current time in life. We sold a house and needed a longer time stay. This house was perfect. Clean, neat well furnished. Peggy was a great host. She checked on how we we doing, if my recovery from knee surgery was progressing. We would stay thee again if the need arose. Thank you.

This home has the "old house smell" but has been updated with all things new, Keurig coffee, Large Screen TV with streaming, Updated kitchen appliances, bathroom and Laundry. Neighborhood pet bunnies visited daily which warranted checking underneath your car. One of their favorite hiding spots!
