Cool weather at that elevation

I never had tv. I called and every day they said they would send someone out to fix the direct tv. No tv for 10 days I got fed up with the promises and nothing happened so I packed up and left 4 days early. Also you ad it to be in CANTON .it is not it’s in CARUSO BIG DIFFERENCE. My first time ever with VRBO and Vacasa. I even fixed the shower knob so that it would keep falling off. I was also told I would get a refund for the tv since day one . That hasn’t happen. I have all text from 4 or 5 different promises. Was not a good experience. And I think nothing will happen with this say about my stay.

The cabin was nicely rustic. Beautiful, isolated, quite location. Description of road up to the cabin was not described with the proper amount of intensity for how steep, narrow and scary it was driving along the edge of some very precarious drops.
Cabin was well equipped and clean. Except some of the dishes were not that clean.
Beds are FIRM. Porch is great any time of the day or night. Beautiful in October.
We understood that there is no cell phone service, however we found it to be quiie disconcerting that being so difficult to get in and out of the property, it would be disastrous if there was an emergency. No means of attaining help other than running up the hill to the neighbors' and hope they are home. A land line phone would be VERY nice. Nonetheless, we enjoyed our quiet, restful getaway. Thank you for making this visit possible.

Directions to cottage were poor(just say its in a gated community , we went past that at first). Upon entry we were greeted with a dank, musty smell. Furnishings were old and musty. Bathroom was in poor working condition. Shower barely functioned. Bedroom was musty, open gap around window ac unit. bedding was old. Floor by washer/dryer seemed about to fall through. We canceled our whole trip after getting in late and staying only ONE night of our planned 8 because of condition. After MANY calls and recalls we were told we could cancel. The ONE night ending up costing us a lot of money after fees etc. Not happy campers. We will not be using Vacasa/ VRBO again.

The house was great! Very clean, cozy and nice! The scenery from the front porch was wonderful. The house has all tools to make the stay comfortable! A couple warnings though, the road to the house us very tricky, and can be hard to find in the dark. Also. There is no cell service. At least for T-Mobile. No wifi, internet, or cable, so plan your stay and trips ahead! Overall the house is lovely though!

Quiet solitude

We were looking for a cabin with a rustic feel on the side of a mountain & this is exactly what we got! It was lovely, very clean, comfortable. All the amenities of a home and my dog loved the wrap around yard to play and met a friendly neighbor bulldog that visited daily. The hot water in shower lasted a long time & we enjoyed being able to turn on the floor base heaters in just the bathroom for the chilly mornings & evenings. We slept with the windows open and had a beautiful breeze. Just FYI you NEED a solid 4-WD to get to this house. Far up into the mountain on an extremely steep, windy road in 4WD for a couple miles but for us, it was really really fun. Also, bring all your essential food items they provide soap & shampoo/conditioner. Peaceful & quiet!
Thank you hosts

Nice cabin.
Warm cozy cabin… only had 2 issues… one the grill was dirty … but it’s clean now and the screen door on front is backwards to regular door. Back door was fine. The porch was comfortable. Plenty of room inside and it was clean.

Fantastic cabin!!
The cabin was amazingly gorgeous!! It is in the middle of the woods in the mountains and is so peaceful. Everything was so clean and tidy. There was plenty of toilet paper, paper towels, bath towels, blankets, pillows, dishes, and even laundry detergent and a washer and dryer in case you needed to do laundry. There is a fire pit out front and a grill and picnic table and adorable lights in the back. The front porch has 2 porch swings and several rocking chairs and a love seat. I wish we had stayed there more than 3 days. We could have easily stayed a few weeks. It was lovely.

Perfect spot to get away from it all!
This property is gorgeous, located at the dead end of Sleepy Hollow lane literally on the edge of the mountain. We had a lot of butterflies and hummingbirds hanging out with us while we were on the property. Perfect honeymoon vacation near the Blue Ridge Parkway, which we could've easily spent the entire vacation up there. Amazing views everywhere, quiet and perfect. The cabin was stocked with everything you need. I also went adventuring down to the waterfalls located down the hill from the property, I wish there was a way to share those pictures on here as they were beautiful. Lucky for me I didn't encounter snakes lol.
I can't wait to bring my kids next time for some tubing and other adventures to be had in West NC. This place deserves 10 stars.

They thought of everything
We enjoyed a quiet, peaceful stay at this lovely cabin. It's at the end of the road and well-buffered by woods from other houses in the development, so there's ample privacy. The host provided everything we could conceivably need (although we didn't use the internet or tv during our stay). The host also initiated contact promptly after booking and responded promptly when we had to call or text them before and during our stay. It's far enough away from everything (10-15 minutes to the trailhead for the East Fork of the Pigeon River, another 5-10 to the Blue Ridge Parkway), but only minutes from small country stores/gas stations and Canton.
We'd go back!

Nice Cabin for a Family
We enjoyed staying at this cabin and would recommend. The cabin was clean and had everything that you would need for the week. There was a lot of room and in a nice area. The location was good and close to Asheville, Pisgah, and downtown. The host/manager always responded immediately.

Beautiful, Remote Mountain Cabin
We had a wonderful time at Sharon’s mountain cabin. It’s a pretty steep climb in places in the neighborhood, but worth the drive once we got to this beautiful mountain retreat! The view was beautiful and the nature around the cabin was alive and so peaceful! We loved hearing the birds singing and making s’mores around the campfire. The cabin was very clean and spacious and comfortable, and we enjoyed every minute spent there - we even added one extra night to our stay! We will definitely be back. Thanks again!

White water rafting with the guys
We had an excellent stay at Sharon’s place… She was so communicative and the cabin is perfect… Very clean and cozy and close enough to Asheville… Beds were very comfortable. She even turned on the lights and heating for us our first night as we were coming in from our rafting trip. I would highly recommend!
