You can't get any more in-town than this. The unit is located in a commercial building containing a quiet sushi restaurant, an art gallery, a trading post gift shop, and a couple of real estate companies. They all shut down in the late afternoon and the restaurant closes at 8pm.
If you've read other reviews, you'll note that the Garden Bar next door plays live music until 2am, but only on Fridays and Saturdays. Really, it's not that bad as the bar is on the living room side, but bring earplugs anyway just in case. Parking is a challenge, but give yourself a few extra minutes and you'll find a decent spot. We were here in late June and could still find parking every time.
This unit was designed well and filled with the little things you'll need; soap, TP, towels, dishes, flatware, etc. My only complaint is that the washing machine was out of order and we didn't know that ahead of time. We brought enough clothes not to need it, but if you are planning on having one be sure to ask before reserving. I didn't see any nearby laundromats.

This was the most perfect location and place odor our group and what we wanted to do during this trip. It had everything we could ever need inside of the unit.

Close to dining and shopping. But I would lot stay here again. I did know ahead of time that there was a bar below and there might be loud music but it was so loud the bathroom walls were shaking. And it goes until 2am. Would not stay here again for this reason.

Cute place, but not your typical Vacation rental as far as extras like coffee, cooking spices or kitchen extras that most places like this have. Definitely not what we are used to. The elevator does not work. They show pictures of it so we were counting on it for one of the people we were traveling with. So beware you have to haul everything up a couple flights of stairs, which is no problem if you have no health concerns. The spots for parking they say you have behind the building say 2 hours only and if Electric Ave is closed there is no place to park. The top of the window in one of the bedrooms is completely full of spider webs. Its winter in Montana so not usually so many spiders around so probably been there awhile. I contacted Vacasa twice during our stay and was told some one local would contact me... never heard a word from anyone. Also had asked for early check in and never heard anything regarding that either. I Understand if it is still being cleaned, but this was not the case as the snow was piled in front of the door from the previous days snow. Very poor service from Vacasa The owners should possibly use a different company who is willing to address concerns, because overall it is a cute property in a great location to main street. Also If you are booking this through VRBO you are paying fees to VRBO and VACASA beware.

I’ll start by saying overall the space met our needs and was relatively clean and updated. The shower was amazing and I showered more than necessary just because of how great the two shower heads felt after a long day hiking - also loved the washer/dryer for this reason! We loved the convenience of walking to get coffee in the morning and grabbing drinks and dinner at night.
For improvements:
I would leave a 3.75 if I could. Living room/bedroom is more broken in than the brand new appearance in the picture: living room rug was worn, comforters and sheets were pilling. We did have an issue with some dark hairs in the bedding and towels set out, as well as several tiny spiders on each bedroom ceiling. Considering we’re in Montana, I didn’t let the latter bother me much, and was able to find other towels in the bathroom to use. I reported both issues and was contacted promptly for someone to come spray and drop off fresh linens/change the bed; we were in Whitefish at the time and I ok’d the maintenance guy enter on his own. The linen swap did not occur but I’m trusting they sprayed outside? for the spiders for future guests. We ended up having to kill the few that were in the king room where we slept.
Nice overall, but a little more attention to cleanliness details would’ve made it great!

This is not a place you can sleep there is a bar on the other side of the wall

The design was impressive!
Everything is brand new and well-appointed.
Why not 5 stars? It is next to one of the best bars in Big Fork, with bands playing. Great music but it is loud. If that's not an issue - this place is fantastic. It is a putt away from Saketome. That Resturant is amazing.
