Such a lovely home-- remodeled with a great blend of comfort and nice decor. Very quiet (didn't hear any street noises the whole time we were there), great option for family of 4. Would stay here again with future visits.

Smelly trash left under the sink. Porch trash can over flowing. Dirty rugs.

The Upper Corbel House was very clean and comfortable. Bucksport was a great location for basing ourselves as we went to Schoodic, Belfast, and Unity for the Common Ground Fair as well as exploring around Bucksport. The apartment is spacious and well decorated. It has an adequate kitchen, great bathtub with lots of hot water, and 2 bedrooms that are in either end of the apartment so you have privacy from others.

Great location to start all our adventures. Away from the bustle, but close enough to visit. 1 hour to Acadia and Bar Harbor, just a few minutes to Fort Knox and the bridge observation tower and half hour to Castine. Don't miss a walking tour in Bucksport. Home was private and comfortable. It was great to have a washer and dryer and to be able to cook if you want to. Love the church steeple view from the back window.

The Upper Corbel House is a nicely renovated space that retains its 1860s charm. Close enough to Acadia National Park so that it's not inconvenient but far enough away to be cost effective. Bucksport is just as charming as the house and Fort Knox is a must see. Looking forward to a return visit!

The Corbel house is gorgeous! We stayed upstairs, which has 2 bedrooms. It is beautifully decorated and quite charming. It has everything you need on your vacation! I will say it was very hot inside as there is only one window unit in the dining room. (They do provide box fans for you though) The weather was very hot during our visit. We had some issues with the dryer and it couldn’t be repaired while we were there. But it really wasn’t a big deal to us. The neighborhood is so quiet all the time, even at night with the windows open. The house is only a few houses from Main St., Bucksport. There are local shops that are quite hospitable and a wonderful ice cream shop. Stop by the Community Pharmacy for your Bucksport shirts and hats. Eat on the Penobscot River and take a stroll on the river walk. You will get close up views of Fort Knox Historic Site and the gorgeous Penobscot Narrows Bridge! The Corbel House is so close to many seafood restaurants that serve fresh Maine delights. You are close to many other Maine attractions. You won’t be disappointed in this home or the quint little town!!

Other than our vacation was in the middle of ME's heat wave and only a small window AC in the living room (no fans or ceiling fans in bedrooms), it was a great central location in order to go see the rest of ME.

Cute house that is nicely decorated and suitable for a small family however I was counting on a functioning washer/dryer (clearly seen in virtual tour) but dryer didn't work. Called property manager 3 days in a row to see if a repair could be made and only was told that there was a "Ticket Out on it" and never received any follow-up. Also, property lists having a dishwasher, but there isn't. Kitchen could also use more pots and pans, plates, mugs (only 3 mugs), glasses (only 2 glasses) and more storage-type of containers and maybe some salt and pepper shakers. House got pretty hot during the day except the living room with the AC Unit. Property manager was also not really good with communication. The bathroom was nice- good supply of hot water and water pressure. Overall, the small nuisances didn't deter a good time in a cute house that was clean and pleasant to be in.
