I recently stayed at this property with my family of 4 and had a wonderful experience. The home is clean, cozy, and well-maintained, making it a perfect retreat. The highlight for me was the backyard—it's not only beautifully designed but also equipped with everything you need, including a BBQ and comfortable furniture. The yard is cool and serene, offering a peaceful escape. The kitchen is fully stocked with appliances, making it easy to prepare meals. Overall, this place offers a quiet and peaceful atmosphere, perfect for a relaxing getaway. Highly recommend!

This location was the perfect jumping off point for all things wine related, as well as centrally located for great family activities.

Fantastic stay. The house was clean and had everything we needed. The wifi was fast. Outdoor area was really nice. We sat outside with a glass of wine both nights of our stay. Private, no bugs, enough shade. Master bedroom was large and had a comfortable king size bed. The second bedroom had a queen. The house was a little warm when we arrived but the nest thermostat was easy to opperate. The hot water took some time to warm up but then provided plenty of warm water for showers.

Four women in town for a soccer tournament shared this delightful house. We all commented on the charming features of the house-the old style built in cupboards, closets and nooks-mixed with the updated kitchen complete with modern appliances, dishes, cooking implements, etc., and the convenient washer and dryer in the garage. Back yard was shaded by trees part of the day and offered a relaxing atmosphere.

Easy in and out, close to wineries! Beautiful, comfortable outdoor area too!

Management was not very responsive when the toilets backed up and sewage water came into the bathtub while my daughter was taking a shower. Luckily my husband was able to get it resolved and multiple use of the plunger.
Then the main bathroom door got shut with the lock button in place. We could get it open today. We tried to get a locksmith to come but we had to checkout before they could arrive.
I suggest that management should clean the sewer lines and proved a tool in the garage to pick the door locks.
This is an old house even though it has been nicely remodeled. A local manager should be available.

The home itself was a lovely hybrid of charming older construction and modern kitchen and amenities and a great garden. The check in process was easy, but I didn’t love getting 10 inbound texts from the property management company for a two day stay. That would have been fine, but they sent reminders I didn’t need and requests of how the stay was. When I responded that the kitchen and bathrooms were dirty, they made me send photos then never bothered to reply again. The internet also cut out many times during my stay, making it impossible to complete an important work session. I chose this home thinking it would be a professionally-run unit for my work trip. It’s unfortunate that such a great home with a fantastic garden didn’t have a bit more attention from the property managers.

Loved the neighborhood, the board games and the home it’s self. Bring your own shampoo/soap, they provide powdered formula, it is awful.

Great stay for 2 couples or family of 4. Charming older home that is tastefully updated with all the amenities needed and very clean.

I’m very disappointed with Vacasa. Issues happen and it’s understandable if the cleaning crew misses something but we arrived to find blood stained comforter and someone’s hair on the sheets. When I contacted Vacasa they suggested I do laundry because nobody could bring us clean comforter and sheets until next day around lunchtime. Next day we got locked out of the house even though we followed all the instructions on locking the door. Since the Vacasa rep couldn’t troubleshoot the issue, we had to use the back door the rest of the trip. The house itself is pretty nice. Too bad is managed so poorly. I’m still waiting for the property manager to contact us about a refund.

My family and I rented the James House for a 15 night stay and had a wonderful time. Our teenager was participating in a two-week camp at the local 6th Street Playhouse and the James House was the perfect home and location. The home is very clean and comfortable. The neighborhood is incredibly quiet and it is centrally located to everything we needed while in town. We would definitely recommend the James House to anyone looking to stay in the area.

Couple of small items. There is a smell when you first walk in the house. Also the AC makes loud noises sometime, you may want to have it checked. Otherwise the location and home was great!! Thank you

I stayed here for five days. Great find. The house is very nicely furnished. Fresh and super clean. Very comfortable. It has a very nice big backyard. The neighborhood is quiet and safe. Oh well, that was so good. I have a straw. The host was on top of everything.

This house was ideal for our party of four (3 adults and 1 kid age 8). Located in a safe neighborhood. Convenient to wineries, restaurants and parks. Nice amenities including coffee maker, toaster, toiletries and hair dryer (one for each bathroom). TV was not connecting to wifi so we couldn't watch netflix and icemaker appeared to be broken but otherwIse, we had a great stay.

James House was a perfect home base for a birthday celebration, wine weekend. Great location. Quiet and charming neighborhood. We’ll appointed.

House is well appointed, light and airy and was completely clean.
It also bears mentioning that Vacasa does an excellent job. I arrive Saturday and wanted to be sure wifi would work. It didn’t at first (turned out site name and password had changed from what was in the binder at the house—welcome enail from Vacasa had it correct and amidst attempts to fix things I realized that was the problem. But when I tried to reach Vacasa I was immediately on chat with a real person who eventually said someone would arrive Sunday to address. When I figured it out I told Vacasa all was well but technician came Sunday anyway. There was nothing to do but fix the binder which he did. Point of all this is that on Saturday evening and Sunday Vacasa was on it.

We had a great stay at James House! Perfect size for our family of 4 and had all the amenities that we needed. Loved the neighborhood and location - will book it on our next trip back to Santa Rosa to see family and friends.

We stayed here because of its proximity to Annandale park as well as some local wineries we enjoy. It is a nice spacious home in a quiet neighborhood. There are good restaurants, grocery stores and shops in walking distance. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would not hesitate to book there again.

Quiet neighborhood, great private backyard patio, clean, comfy beds, had everything we needed for a wonderful trip in wine country!

Great home. Very clean. Abundance of supplies. Quiet neighborhood

Property is located with quite a bit around it if you want to go out to eat, run to the grocery store for food to cook or order takeout and eat from home. Great backyard setting. Beds were comfortable. Property was super clean. Neighborhood is older and very nice to walk/run through as the sun comes up. We would definitely recommend this property and will consider renting it again on a return trip. We didn’t have any issues during our stay so we didn’t have to contact the management company. NaPa was about 45-55 minutes away and wineries in Sonoma were just a couple of miles. Very nice trip.

We stayed here for a weekend with some friends. This is the perfect place to stay for a relaxing weekend. The neighborhood is cute and quiet. It's close to wine country. There's an amazing restaurant called Willi's Wine Bar and a market within walking distance that's a must! We highly recommend this place to stay and will be staying in the future.

This was a perfect place for us to relocate to after clearing out my dad's house for a sale, and needed somewhere in the neighborhood to finish up our last few days of clearing out the house. Kitchen stocked adequately but could use a few more items to make it nice for cooking and serving special meals.
