About this house rental
Moose Pond Escape is a large home that comfortably sleeps up to 12 people. This home with lots of windows for natural lighting and great views. It sits on 4 acres of woods in Bridgton, ME right on Moose Pond. Perfect for water and winter sports. We have kayaks and peddle boats for guests' use in the summer and access from the property to local trails and I89.
The home has five bedrooms over three levels: The top floor has two queen size beds and a full bath on the same floor. The views from this floor are super. There is even a sitting area on the landing to sit and enjoy the views or read a book.
The main level has a gorgeous kitchen that has everything you will need to prepare meals and snacks. The kitchen has a warming drawer for bread or maybe when someone missed dinner from snowmobiling all day. I love the water faucet by the stove for big pots of water- maybe a lobster pot!
There is also a fully stocked laundry room. Large washer and dryer. Ironing board, iron, and gates for our furry friends who get to wet in the pond and need time to dry off.
The dining area is perfect for large family/friends with great views of the property.
The back deck is accessible from this floor and runs the length of the house. The view from here is so serene. Enjoy a coffee or drink from the high-top table or chaise lounge chairs.
There is a Master bedroom on this floor with an ensuite bathroom. Includes a tiled double shower head which is great after a day of play. As well as double sinks.
There is also an office area for any work that may need to get done. We have games & puzzles and a book or two. Ample WIFI is available throughout the house.
The living room on this floor has large windows that allow for natural light and beautiful views of the property. A comfortable sectional couch with views right at the large screen TV. Streaming avialable with guest accounts. A great place at the end of the day to snuggle up and enjoy the wood stove.
There is access to the lower level that offers an apartment setting. The family room on this level has large TV, streaming avialable with guest accounts. We also have foosball table.
There is a master bedroom with full bath and of course beautiful views. This bedroom, bath and kitchen can be closed off to the rest of the floor by closing the bedroom door and offers privacy when multiple families share their vacations.
There is a fully equipped second kitchen. A place to have a quiet cup of coffee before anyone else is awake.
The lower level also has what we like to call the "bunk room." It has two twin beds and a set of bunk beds. It also has two queen-size inflatable mattresses as a good option if you find yourself in need of extra space. The bunk room also has a large-screen TV and a 2 person sauna! This will make you feel better after a long day of play.
Outdoors:
Plenty of parking for cars plus a trailer if you bring your snowmobiles. Think of hopping on your sled and accessing the local trails with access to I89.
There is a fire Pit where we have had great times sitting around making smores and memories.
The outside dining area, we refer to it as Moose Pond Cafe. A great place to relax and enjoy grilling and being with each other. The lower level kitchen is convenient when cooking out back on the grill.
There is a lighted pathway from the house to Moose Pond Escape dock to enjoy an evening stroll down to the dock. The lighted pathway is just beautiful to look at.
We hope you love our Moose Pond Escape as much as we do. We hope you book your next stay with us!

Peaceful and away from everything but yet close to anything you may need. We had an amazing time fishing, shopping locally, taking day trips and just relaxing at this lovely property. Thanks for having us!

The outdoor space was exceptional. We also loved the balcony which was a safe space for our dog to enjoy some fresh air without the risk of getting loose. Inside was roomy enough to accommodate our four generations. Plenty of elbow room in the kitchen for multiple people to prepare a family meal together.

Was a blast. Moose Pond is gorgeous. It has the ski mountain as a backdrop and is a remarkable boating location. Nearby restaurants and Bridgton food truck park were excellent. Owners were in Contact and were excellent and professional. They bent over backwards to make our stay most awesome. The home has lots of games and lake amenities and the layout is wonderful for families.

Our stay was wonderful during the Christmas holidays and New Year. All 9 of us (3 kids, 6 adults) felt so relaxed in this spacious home and had a great time making use of the wonderful kitchen to cook family meals. We sledded in the back yard and enjoyed the cozy wood-burning stove and the foosball table. The neighborhood was quiet and we took advantage of great skiing just down the road. What a wonderful stay!

The house is amazing!! We had 6 adults and 4 kids and had more room than we could imagine!! The house has everything you could possibly need. It’s super clean. The beds are nice and comfy. The bedding is beautiful. The outside area is wonderful. We hung out on the deck and around the fire pit. The kayaks were great - more than enough for us! Highland beach was right in town - the kids loved it. The water was crystal clear and perfect temp. The friendly ducks came and hung out with us each time we went. The town of Naples is super cute! Great time renting the boat there and good restaurants. Portland is like an hour away and we had fun visiting there too!
Really, really beautiful house and we had a great time. Deb was great - available for any questions! Quick responses. We had wonderful time relaxing, reading, doing puzzles and hanging out.
The only downside to the property is that you can’t walk right out into the water. The kids want to be in the water all the time and you can’t just walk out into the water - have to kayak out and then swim. Lots of lily pads (which look beautiful when their flowers bloom) and lake grass at the shore and the ground is soft. We like to have more of a beach area. Highland beach was great and super close in downtown Bridgton, so we didn’t mind driving. This place is still 10 out of 10 for all that it has and all that it offers. It’s a gorgeous house and property and we would love to come here again.
Thanks for sharing your home with us!

Fantastic place to rent!
The entire process was painless! The first contact was with the owner, she was more than happy to answer my questions!! She then sent me to the property manager, we ended up texting back and forth like old friends! She was happy to tell me about sites to see in the area and also what to do at the house! By the way the house was spotless when we arrived and I mean this place is unequaled, the size of this house is unbelievable and the grounds were great nicely landscaped and lite up at night! This time there was only 7 adults and one grandson of mine and there was more than enough room! It is a 5000 sq ft house! Right on a beautiful lake! You couldn’t ask for a nicer place! Everything thing you need to cook and do things in the house is there! Oh and I almost forgot there is a two person sauna downstairs!! We had a great time and will definitely be back!!!!
