Love the place, the listing should probably be up dated with correct Wi-Fi instructions & check out requirements. Water heater died & we were without hot water for 24 hours. Called property management & they responded immediately. Had a plumber out same day & once found the correct part had it up and running. They were very helpful & responsive. Great location & grandkids love the short walk across the street to the beach

Loved the location! Loved the master and bath being private. Didn't love that no one informed us of the construction noise at the park, and the limited views due to the huge walls they built at the construction site. Lots of neighborhood activity and great weather!

Not only is the home outstanding, the area around the park and beach has a great vibe. Tons of friendly people walking dogs, going for runs, playing guitar in the park. Absolutely perfect. Don’t forget to check out the stars and the moon from the top deck!

The location is perfect, and the house has many great features. The living room furniture needs to be replaced. There are several maintenance issues to attend to…broken lock, water softener, poorly functioning cooktop, broken toaster. But overall, given the ability to have family with us and this great beach location, I would consider coming again. Once the construction project across the street is complete.

We enjoyed the short walk to the beach through the park. It was unfortunate to have construction going on which obstructed the view that we were looking forward too. Overall the house helped make our stay in Ventura an enjoyable due to the proximity to the beach.

We enjoyed the spacious rooms and the location. The house has different living room furniture than pictured. The kitchen is adequate, it has some new small appliances. There was a shortage of washcloths in the bathrooms. The ongoing construction across the street was not that big an issue with us. However, future guests should be aware that the view to the west is obstructed due to a 24 foot high wall. The constant flow of trucks coming and going every day except Sunday from 7am to 5pm may disturb some people. I would suggest the staff close the window blinds in the upstairs windows rather than leaving them up. When we arrived on a fairly warm day, all the blinds were open and it was extremely hot in the house.

The house was exactly as it appears on the website. The house looked clean, but was actually not clean, especially the floors. I expected a cleaner house since we were required to pay a hefty cleaning fee. The kitchen is old and outdated. It is almost impossible to cook dinner on the stove (only 2 burners). The refrigerator was very large. We loved sitting on the rooftop deck. The back bedroom on the first floor needs to be updated. The bed is falling apart. The master bedroom is spacious, however the mattress is very uncomfortable and the comforter is musty. We enjoyed staying at the house, but for the cost, updates and better cleaning would need to be made for us to stay at this home again.

Property is well equipped with everything you need including some beach toys for the kids, body board, and fishing supplies. Centrally located to several attractions, the central coast, and LA. BEWARE - the house code was texted to me but the inside alarm code was embedded in a separate email so make sure you have both codes when entering!
Vacasa confirmed a firepit was on sight a month prior to our stay; there was no firepit but upon inquiry vacasa provided a small refund
Overall would stay again but vacasa needs to be a bit more organized with codes and confirmation of amenities

Home needs to be updated. Clean but way too much junk (pots, pans, etc.) in kitchen.
Stove needs to be replaced. Very old Gaggenau and only left burners can be used (right is a grill which sets off the fire alarm you say).
Front burner pizo lighter not functional so I had to repair it.
Need more shampoo and conditioner in bahrooms.
Checkout time is 10 AM, cleaners came at 9:30. Not good.

Excellent, very quiet accommodations close to beach and amenities
I stayed with a friend and some of our teenage/young adult children and friends while attending a 4 day music festival at the Ventura Count Fairgrounds. We brought bicycles which enabled us to get to and from the venue in about 15 minutes each way. The property was spacious with big windows, great views and an awesome roof deck. All bedding and furniture were nice, clean and comfortable. Garage and driveway could technically park 4 vehicles off street.
The only room for improvement worth mentioning is the kitchen. While it was well-lit and clean, we thought it could use a more modern stove and a larger selection of better cookware.
So, if you're fussy about that kind of thing, maybe bring your own paella pan or whatnot.
I'm sure you will enjoy your stay as much as we did!

We love this location because it works for the things we enjoy. We golf and there 2 courses with 5 miles, we like to walk and Starbucks and donuts are within a mile. We love the beach and it it is only a football field away. We enjoy kicking the ball with the grandkids and the park is 20 feet away. We enjoy the proximity to good restaurants but also like to lounge and enjoy the view. The house was clean, the bathrooms are exquisite. There is ample living space. We very much enjoyed this stay and look forward to coming back.

This was the second time we stayed at this property. We chose it because of the location - Beach property and between family traveling from SD and SLO. The view from the two full walls of windows in the living room is fantastic: Morning coffee watching early morning activity in the park, sail boats leaving for the ocean, weddings . . . We had breakfast each morning on the top deck and were completely protected from the wind. We took advantage of the park and beach daily for walks and workouts. All of the house, except for the kitchen, feels updated. The only real complaint about the kitchen are the appliances. We cooked every meal, including a Thanksgiving meal. The stove is split between two gas burners on one side and a broken grill on the other with a down-draft fan in between. The oven is pretty old and strangely combined as a microwave. Cooking tools are minimal, but we were able to get a Thanksgiving meal prepared. Just needed to be creative, like serving mashed potatoes with a spaghetti strainer. We laughed and enjoyed the challenge. We were glad to see that the sofa was replaced from last year, (it was "shedding" faux leather pieces), but the replacement made us laugh - outdoor modular seating. I guess it worked fine. The beds were comfortable enough. The sheets were old. My husband guessed they were about 30 count thread. Not so good. Final thoughts: Check in was easy, check out was easy - all done online. House was clean. We changed the pass code for the front door to an easy to remember code. Grocery store is very near by. Lots of activities all around the property - people enjoying themselves at the park/beach, but very quiet inside the home. We will be back for a third year.

Our vacation rental was a three bedroom two bath house right near the marina Park in Ventura. It was a block away from the beach. The house itself was very well decorated, had a cute hammock area downstairs off one of the bedrooms, an upper deck and a beautiful view from almost any window facing the beach. There is no air conditioning on this property but there are numerous fans now thanks to Matthew and Peyton bringing them to us. We had a problem with the refrigerator, it wouldn't stay cold, that was not resolved before we left. Because of this we did waste some food. I don't think our impacts our stay overly much. We enjoyed the seamless entry as well. Overall a wonderful experience.

While the initial blush was that it was going to be a good rental, once I took off my shoes and walked on the floors, I was shocked. I've never stayed in a rental that the floor was as filthy as this one. My feet were black after walking across the room. Overall the house was not prepped well for rental, there were only 3 -4 wash clothes in the whole house, limited paper supplies(we ran out of TP), and there wasn't a microwave (really?!!) As for the microwave, I've never rented a house without one. The whole purpose of renting a house is to be able to cook a few quick things while vacationing.

This is definitely a beautiful house and was very good access to the beach and the neighboring park. We all had a very good time. Wonderful place but be warned - additional unknown charges ended up on my Visa Card weeks after my stay and have not been given any reason for these additional charges what-so-ever. Emails have not been returned. This would be the only reason I can not recommend this vacation house.

Overall we enjoyed our stay however there were a few things that weren't up to our expectations. The stove definitely needs to be replaced! Very hard to light the gas burners and generally not very nice. As far as the overall cleanliness of the house, the bathrooms and bedrooms were fine. However, the wood floors were not clean. May have been swept or vacuumed but our socks and feet were dirty from walking on it. Cleaning people need to wash them. other than those couple of things we enjoyed the house!

One of the shades in the living room was not working properly and would not close (large window) - not a big deal. Garage was large and had easy access to the house. The house is in an excellent location--across the street from a park and the beach. Also walking distance to grocery store, coffee shop, gastropub (Social Tap--highly recommend), and more. The kitchen had an an ant problem, so that was a little disappointing. Also, if you like to cook, the appliances will be a bit challenging, as they are from another era. It's important to know that one of the bedrooms doesn't have a door. So that may not work for some people. We had a great time in Ventura--downtown is a blast with so many great shops and restaurants. We also enjoyed our boat trip to Santa Cruz Island for a beautiful day hike--on our way back to Ventura Harbor, we saw a pod of thousands of dolphins!
