Relaxing location.
Strange configuration for lower bedrooms.

The view was breathtaking and the house was perfect. We enjoyed everything about this place, it was just like old Hawaii. My family house was just across the street so everyone enjoyed themselves... Mahalo
Nothing it was perfect...

The location is amazing! Manini beach is a very short walk away (about 120 steps). The overlook from the deck on the bay is awesome, and listening to the waves at night was a great way to fall asleep. We only used the upper level, but there were two more bedrooms downstairs with their own exit to the bay for larger groups/families. We were usually out of the house most of the day, but the mornings were great because you could see dolphins every once in awhile playing in the bay and at night, the sunsets were amazing. NO AC, but the breeze at night usually made sleeping very comfortable - but there are also ceiling and floor fans that helped, especially on the day we did remain at the house all day. If you are looking to get away from the more highly populated areas of the island, this place was great. Snorkeling in the area directly in front of the house was some of the best we have experienced, and turned out to be our top choice in the three islands we visited (Oahu, Kauai, and the Big Island). Open floor plan was nice, and we spent a lot of time on the deck. We would go back in a heartbeat!
Only a few minor negatives. We knew from previous reviews that the interior was dated, and it was - we were not fazed by that, as we chose this place for the location (on the bay and away from the crowds). We hoped there would be a few more beach/water accessories, considering the location and size of the place - only one noodle and two beach chairs that were not in great shape.

The tode pools and snorkel beach nect door. Also the views.
The key storage is broken. The key lock opens with any code. We were nervous about leaving the keys in an open box.
