Very clean, pet friendly and friendly property management. Easy checkin and check out. Near a park, gernald store and freeway. Great place to stay.

Enjoyed the stay, check in/out was super easy. Room had everything we needed for the short amount of time we spent inside. Only recommendation we had would be a small vacuum or broom so we could help clean up our dogs fur ( he sheds a ton). Other than that solid spot, would use again if in the area.

I never expected to find such a nice place to stay in the small town of San Miguel, CA. It was clean, comfortable, and well equipped, right down to the coffee and filters and other kitchen supplies. It even had a nice yard with a picnic table, and lights that came on at night to give it a wonderful “at home” feeling (we have those lights in our yard too). While you could park on the street, there was an alley that ran around back with a dedicated parking space and gate that let you right into the yard, making it easy to load and unload your luggage. When we went out early in the morning (still dark), a light even came on to light our way in the driveway.
Inside, there were all the appliances — dishwasher, stove, oven, toaster, and coffee machine. There was a good table and chairs, as well as a comfortable sofa that could be unfolded into a second bed. The bedroom had a comfortable queen-sized bed, and the bathroom even had both a shower and a bathtub. And, everything was spotlessly clean when we arrived.
The heating/cooling system was a modern minisplit (AC-like unit on the outside of the house, with wall-mounted fan with vanes inside) with a remote. The nights were cold and rainy and it worked very well.
We had one occasion to check something with our “host”, and an answer came back quickly. I even managed to leave a jacket there, and she is sending it to me (its about a 4-hour drive so going back to get it would have been difficult).
To sum up, 5-stars!

Stayed here with hubby and our fur baby for a little "staycation" away from the Bay Area. This place was just as described in the listing and a perfect spot for us to go back and forth to Paso Robles or any of the other little towns nearby. Bed was comfortable and we especially liked that the window coverings blocked the early morning light. Kitchen was functional although some eating utensils were a bit sparse. Coffee maker was basic but got the job done. I mentioned to Host that they should include some information on how to operate the TV. It was available for streaming but was unclear as to whether we could also see regular TV. The yard space was very nice and was able to enjoy with some lovely warm November days. We would stay here again!

We had a wonderful experience at the house. All the furnishings ,especially the bedroom and bath were exceptional. The one exception was the "thing" which was supposed to be the table. It was almost unusable. Why not a nice small round table with three chairs ? Travelers need a place to just sit and relax and look at maps and bouchers. Just a suggestion. Barb Houck

We were driving from Joshua Tree to the Russian River for the holidays to rendezvous with family and wanted to split the difference for a night. And we had our little pup with us. Perfect place for this. Not too much going on in San Miguel but we walked down to The Elkhorn for a drink and came back to a very comfortable bed .....and avoided the 9-10 hour drive!

This property is great. Very clean and modern place and has a great kitchen with a full size range. Seems very newly remodeled or built . It is a good size and we had no problems with me my wife and our 13 yr old with space. Lighting was good, heater worked great, and it felt private. Our stay was very quiet and relaxing. The outdoor space was also nice, and large, and we played some corn hole

Amazing Stay
After a 4 hour drive up the I-5 from Orange County, it was a breath of fresh air to pull up to, what I would like to consider a modern Victorian style cottage. Karlie did such an amazing job with the property and is very easy to communicate with, even after my little hiccup initially (which I accept fault of).
It was a such a cozy and relaxing stay, for my wife and myself, as well as our puppy. 10 minutes from downtown Paso and walking distance from the San Miguel Mission.
The cottage shares a backyard space with the other property Karlie manages, perfect for animals or kids, or just to relax and unwind.
Overall I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a great stay without the Paso prices!
