Be-UTAH-ful Retreat
Relax in this bright, stylish cozy home situated at the base of the Wasatch Front. This 3 bedroom, 3 bath is 20-40 min from 4 world-class ski resorts (Alta, Snowbird, Brighton, and Solitude) and just 20 minutes to downtown and 40 min to Park City. The house is fully stocked with everything you will need to make it feel like your home away from home. It is perfect for a getaway for friends, couples, small families, skiers, or anyone wanting the feel of their second home.

MAIN FLOOR:
The kitchen is fully stocked with just about anything you will need as well as a new double oven gas stove. We have a dedicated coffee station with a drip brew and Keurig K-cup coffee maker, a French press, and an electric kettle. This includes a supply of coffee, teas, and hot chocolate. One of the best features is the pellet icemaker.

The living room area has gorgeous views of the mountains while sitting on the velvet couch. There is a beautiful gas fireplace to top of the ambiance and cozy factor. The room has a 65" smart TV with many streaming apps as well as YouTube TV for live viewing.

The Master bedroom (main floor) is large and has a king-size bed (medium firmness). The attached bathroom is stocked with towels, shampoo, and condition (Pureology or Aveda), and extra toiletries in case you forgot any. It has a large closet space and barn doors to shut off from the bedroom. There is a sound machine as well as multi-cable charging cords and outlets. There are robes and flip-flops (to take home) in the closet

The two smaller bedrooms (main floor) both have king beds (medium firmness) with a small dresser or shelving in the closet, full-length mirrors, charging stations, laundry basket, luggage rack, and tower floor fans. The linens throughout the house are high quality (Brooklinen or comparable) and pillows and mattresses are all protected with allergy and hygienic covers that are fully washed after each guest.

LOWER LEVEL:
The basement can be converted into a master suite.
It has a great sectional and a sitting area with 2 cozy chairs. A pull-out Serta queen-size bed. It also has 2 convertible ottomans and turns into twin beds.
There is a 65" smart TV, a 160-game old-school arcade table, and a basket full of board games, puzzles, chess, poker, etc.
There is a full bathroom as well as a laundry room.

GARAGE: The finished garage can fit one car (it is low profile, so larger cars may have issues with ski racks or opening trunk/cargo). The garage has ski racks and boot heaters as well as a heater that will help with drying ski gear. Also, you can spend time with the family playing ping pong, skew ball, darts, and axe throwing.

BACKYARD: the large backyard has a great deck with BBQ Grill, fire table, yard games (corn hole, footballs, soccer balls, frisbees, and covered hot tub.

All aspects of this vacation rental were perfection. The property description and instructions were detailed, accurate and incredibly helpful and welcoming. The home was spotless, beautifully decorated and warm and inviting. The little touches and perks like the welcome basket, wine, coffee, drinks, bedside and bathroom amenties and garage amenities were a pleasant surprise. We have been visiting SLC annually for the past 10 years and this is by far the best home we have ever stayed in. Lara and Randy are amazing hosts and truly care about their guests.

This rental was fantastic! When we arrived it immediately felt like home with the lights on, music playing and an overflowing welcome basket of snacks and goodies. Lara is an amazing host, responsive, extremely well organized and keeps the property in tip top shape. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need for home cooked meals. The rooms are very comfortable and well stocked with anything you may have left at home. The hot tub is in fantastic condition and the mood lights provide a cozy soak after a long day on the slopes. We had a fantastic ski vacation at this property and I highly recommend it.

This rental is awesome! So many amazing touches. They have thought of everything. Lovely hosts; very responsive and helpful. The location is great - a quiet neighborhood close to the slopes. Hot tub is perfect after a day of skiing. We will definitely be back the next time we are in Salt Lake.

We stayed here with our 2 young children and were so pleasantly surprised at how great this property was. The owners have truly thought of every amenity and extra you could imagine or need during your stay. The location is excellent and a beautiful quiet neighborhood with stunning views. All the beds were so comfortable, and we loved the thoughtful room amenities like sound machines, charging cords, soft robes, and waters and the BEST Utah truffles by the beds. We highly recommend this rental and felt it is one of the best rentals we have ever visited, especially for the price. Thank you to the owners who made everything seamless and so enjoyable for our family!! We hope to be back!

Hands down, one of our favorite vacation rental homes! Could not have had better communication from the hosts, Lara and Randy. Many rentals advertise, "we have everything, just bring your clothes", which is typically not the case. However, this house TRULY has it all. The welcome goodie basket and wine were top notch, as was the tea and K-cup selection. To me, the most important aspect of a rental is cleanliness, and I have to say this house was absolutely spotless. We couldn't believe how clean it was! It seemed as though we were the first guests. Lara and Randy thought of every detail and provided any item you may have forgotten at home. Kids loved the downstairs Gameroom, along with the garage which had a ping pong table, electronic darts, and an axe throwing board. The backyard and the outdoor hot tub area was a great place for us to hang out as well. Did I mention the view from the living room?! No question about it, we will be booking here again!

This is a true vacation rental; all your needs have been anticipated by Lara and Randy. Having done many vacation rentals, you see a wide range, clean, with comfortable beds and bedding are the least to expect, and this place was super clean. But what separates this from most rentals is all the nice touches they have added. If you have ever seen the show Vacation House Rules, Lara and Randy have aced it. The kitchen has all you need including basic supplies, but clean and in like-new condition. Bathrobe, glove/boot warmers, flip flops for the terrific hot tube, and many other surprises. Also, Lara is very responsive and helpful. If you're staying in the Salt Lake area, don't pass this VRBO up.

Place was amazing!! Spacious and very accommodating. Owners provided a welcome gift as well as supplying amenities such as chips, coffee, tea and candy as well as personal items such as toothbrush, toothpaste and mouthwash. All the ski resorts were close by, nearest ones less than 20 minutes away. The hot tub was a perfect ending to a day on the slopes and then having a ping pong table in the heated garage was an added bonus. Overall an amazing place to stay while exploring Utah and all it has to over. Will definitely want to come back. Ariel

Came to Sandy, UT for a ski trip to Snowbird and Solitude and couldn’t have found a better spot. The place was very nice, the hot tub after skiing was perfect, and the boot warmers were a hidden gem. The location of the house for reaching the resorts was perfectly situated between the canyons. Would definitely recommend this spot.

Wow! This house was amazing! The owners have thought of everything plus more to make you feel welcome, comfortable and taken care of! We could focus on having fun with our kids and not sweat the small stuff because they had it covered. The view of the mountains right from the living room couch was breathtaking! This host knows how to do VRBO, from bath robes to a well stocked kitchen to a wonderful welcome basket filled with goodies. ( home made christmas cookies to boot) All beds were very comfortable. Spacious rooms for 2 families. My son in law who likes to cook said that the kitchen was top notch. First class hot tub was a plus. In a very quiet neighborhood with lovely homes. Location was great for our activities of skiing and snow shoeing.

The amenities were fantastic including surprise treats and beverages, a welcoming sight upon arrival. Great communication. Fully stocked kitchen. The owner noticed internet issues and had it resolved before our arrival. Very comfortable beds. Very clean and we enjoyed the always on hot tub in the snow (thanks to the gazebo). Pacman and games downstairs and heated garage!. Close to everything. Book without hesitation.

I rarely write reviews online, but this vacation home was truly exceptional. Alta Canyon Retreat is the cleanest, most well-appointed house we've ever rented. Located in a charming, quiet neighborhood this home is nicely set back from the street, offering both privacy and a gorgeous view of the mountains. The interior looks newly renovated, contemporary, and stocked with every appliance and convenience you would ever need. The house is beautifully furnished throughout, and the spacious basement, garage and backyard make it feel extra roomy and comfortable. The owners are very thoughtful, friendly, and easy to contact. They went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed. Upon our arrival there was an amazing welcome basket filled with a wonderful assortment of food and snacks, plus a surprise charcuterie board and bottle of wine in the fridge. Everything about this house exceeded our expectations and we felt lucky to have discovered such a treasure. It truly is a retreat location and we would recommend it in a heartbeat.

This has been one of the best VRBOs we have stayed at!! We had such a great time! The location is awesome! It is in a quiet neighborhood and also so close to the mountains (ski resorts) and downtown. It was so CLEAN! It has so many amenities. The kitchen was well stocked with so much. There were even baskets with things in case you forgot (like a toothbrush my daughter forgot to bring!). We felt so comfortable staying there. The beds were comfy and there was a TV in each room. We cannot wait to come back. Lara was an awesome host and so communicative. 5 Stars for sure!!
