We absolutely loved our stay. Close to many destinations we love to frequent. The property and neighborhood is outstanding. We will come back!

This home in the mountains was perfect! When we arrived, it was sparkling clean. Everything we needed was there. We enjoyed sitting on the deck and drinking our coffee in the mornings. It was convenient to Estes Park as well as Allenspark. I have come to the Allenspark area every summer since I was a young child. We have stayed in many places over the year, but this is our favorite!
Kevin was very responsive to our questions. Just all around a great experience.

We had a small family gathering in CO with my
daughter her husband and their 1 year old. This house was absolutely perfect! There was not one thing we needed that was not already supplied. The house was clean, beautiful and very comfortable. The location was perfect for where we wanted to be, close to hiking, trails, restaurants and shopping. We could not be more pleased with our experience. Hope to make this a yearly event and hopefully stay at this same place.

This house was PERFECT for our extended family! We were in the area for a large family reunion and found both the home and location perfect for us. Easy drive to Estes and loved being in more of a secluded area compared to the more populated Estes Park area. The kitchen had everything we needed and the spices were the best I have seen in a rental home. My only suggestion is that it would have been helpful to have access to a vacuum. We had a 15 month old and he kept picking things up off the rugs. Definitely recommend this property!

Great family trip

This home was spacious and comfortable! Quiet location allowed us to relax and unwind, but close enough to RMNP when we were ready to explore. Kitchen was perfect for preparing family meals. Great stay!

The property was fully stocked with everything we could possibly need, which was perfect because of the remote location. Some of us drove and some of us flew inevitably we forgot some things. This property had it all waiting for us! The beds were comfortable. The water pressure was great, nice new appliances, and amazing views. Can’t wait to go back!

Keven is a wonderful host. The instructions were clear, the communication was great. The home was clean and well appointed. It was a comfortable and welcoming place to be at the end of a long day of hiking! A bit off the beaten path of Estes Park, and highly recommended.

Very nice property in the woods! We had plenty of room for everbody to have their own recreation area. The kitchen was oufitted well, with both basic ingredients and condiments as well as cookware. We found ourselves without an iron and Kevin had one to us the very next morning!! We were very pleased the the accommodations and loved the location and the large climbing rocks on the property. We went into Estes Park everyday and found the drive beautiful, seeing deer, wild turkey and elk often. Would gladly stay again!

The cabin is very comfortable in the woods. A little rough getting there but a great place once there. There were a few minor issues that were communicated with Keven. Working the TV was a challenge. My grand nephew was able to get live TV at one point but after he left, we couldn't get anything to work. Too much of a challenge for me to figure it out. Better instructions would be very helpuful.

This place was extremely neat and clean. The house looked liked the pictures online. Would definitely stay again and refer to anyone!! A perfect home away from home! Host was very friendly and helpful also!

Property extremely clean and well laid out. Area is about 20 minutes from Estes Park and Rocky Mountain National Park. Just a warning that there is little to no cell phone service in the Allenspark area where the cabin is located.
Property is very well secluded on a private drive. Kitchen well stocked with basics and nice pots and pans to cook for the entire family. Appliciances including washer and dryer were high end Samsung! Two Apple TVs were nice and gave us something to watch when we were rained in. WiFi at decent speeds but sometimes spotty in the house. Would highly recommend staying at this property.

We took good care of the rental house. We did not use the downstairs. Before leaving, we forgot to put the thermostat at 50 degrees. So sorry, that we overlooked doing that. The house was very nice and we enjoyed our stay.

This was the perfect house for us (4 adults & 2 dogs) to explore RMNP and the surrounding area. We really liked that we weren’t in the middle of town and with crowds of people. The house is arranged perfectly for two groups to have privacy when needed because of the separate main level and lower level bedrooms and baths. We thoroughly enjoyed coming back to the house each evening and cooking dinner and playing games at the big kitchen table.
We stay at VRBO’s quiet often and this house is a definite favorite. If I come back to Estes Park this will be where I stay.
Bonus, the property owner is available and answers quickly if you have a question. And the neighbors are super nice.

A much needed vacation with our adapted grandchildren was the perfect place loved everything about the house and area hated to go home to 100 degree heat

The home is beautiful and well appointed. They had everything we needed to prepare breakfast and dinner after hiking in Rocky Mountain National Park. The home is spacious allowing the family to gather in the kitchen, one of the two living areas or on the deck. Bedrooms and bathrooms were great places to retreat. The host left a book of great information for our stay. I would recommend this home to all my friends and family. You won’t be disappointed by this beautiful home.

We were in the area for our son’s wedding at Wild Basin Lodge, less than 5 minutes away. (Proximity to Estes Park was great too!) I have no negatives to share! The house was clean, comfortable, and well-stocked. One of the “easiest” rentals we’ve had!

What a great place to get away! We were in town for a wedding at an event center across the highway, so it was the perfect spot to stay. Only about a 30 minute drive to Estes Park, so close to eating, shopping and activities, too! Rooms were well furnished and luxurious, great showers and plenty of room both inside and out! Everything you need to cook was in the kitchen, just bring your food. Be aware there is absolutely no cell service for miles in all directions, but great internet and Wi-Fi at the house. It is the perfect place to spend a few days away from it all!

Wish we could have stayed a month. Nicest rental we’ve stayed at. When the teenagers want to hang with the parents in the main living room, you know it’s got character. It’s our 5th time in Estes Park and we picked this rental which is a little further out but so glad we did. The drive is scenic, there is amazing coffee at Tahosa coffee shop by the church, and the Meeker Pass restaurant and store is nearby. There is so much included to make your stay feel like you are at home. We also enjoyed reading on the deck off the main bedroom and sitting out on the deck having a meal. I also like the lighting feature that lights up the property at night when we were sitting outside enjoying nature. It is very quaint and quiet. Our dog Bandit has never explored so much or enjoyed so many outdoorsy smells each morning. Lots of thought went into this rental. Don’t pass it up!!

This place is fabulous! Quiet, peaceful location. The home features quality throughout. It is beautifully decorated, very clean and has lots of extras. There was plenty of room for 6 adults. WiFi worked well for college student needing it for an online class. Kitchen had everything to cook with. The drive to Estes park was beautiful, no stop lights, and only about 15 min. Easy to get to the Visitor’s Center with free parking. It really made our vacation having such a comfortable place to relax after hiking or shopping. Would love to visit again!

This house exceeded our expectations: so clean, well-organized, comfortable….communication was great, as well. The property was just secluded enough, we really loved the privacy and peaceful atmosphere. Lots of wildlife to see! We rent vacation homes often, and this was among the best.

We’ve stayed at over a dozen rental properties in the past and this one was the best of the best! Beautifully decorated, located in the heart of the mountains and so close to Estes Park and RMNP, extremely clean and comfortable. The hosts included so many extra amenities we don’t typically see - shampoo/conditioner, plenty of hand soaps and paper products, a fully appointed kitchen complete with spices and basics like olive oil…. The beds were extremely comfy. Gorgeous location on a wooded lot. One thing to note is that our directions app told us to access the property via Wagener Rd which isn’t right - make sure you turn on Tahosa Park South instead which is also off Hwy 7 just 1/8 mile down.

Absolutely wonderful. Couldn't have wanted for anything more, the house is cozy, warm, and welcoming. I was apprehensive about staying a little further from Estes Park than we normally do, but the drive into town was so picturesque and lovely that it was an unanticipated blessing. The quiet and the starry skies at night were a balm. This is a true escape. Thank you so much for sharing your wonderful property, we will be returning.

Our stay was everything we expected and more. Great house in secluded neighborhood. Lots of space and quiet. House was fully equipped. Very comfortable. Hope to stay there again.

Just what we were looking for, something secluded but not too far from town. The cabin has a comfy, homey feel and is nice and clean. Very well equipped with everything you need. Outside is nice and quiet and has a good view in the back. Convenient access to Estes, Allenspark and Rocky Mountain park, which we frequented all during our stay. Great place for daytime adventures followed by realxiing evenings, all close together. Would definitely stay here again.

This property is amazing. BUT, you must want to be somewhat removed from town, etc. This is our type of vacation home as we love being remote and spending our afternoons and evenings relaxing on a lovely deck. Town is 15 minutes away as it RMNP. We will definitely be back as the house is exceptional. Thanks for your easy communication and always responding.

This property exceeded our expectations!! It was so nice and immaculate with a very well stocked and functional kitchen, loads of DVD's and games, bedding, toiletries, etc. Outstanding views from the property and a very short drive to the Wild Basin. Secluded and beautiful. Best stay we have had in a long time!!!

The house and property is exactly what was represented in the pictures and description. Very nice, comfortable, homey atmosphere. Well furnished with everything you could need. Very pleasurable and relaxing place to stay. I would definitely consider coming back.

We had a great time at Kevin's property. House was well equipped. Kitchen was a stand out. There was nothing we couldn't find for meal prep ie. utensils, appliances.
a couple observations:
The road in the property is a dirt road. we were in a small SUV and had no troubles. A car can make it in, but you have to pick your line in the road as it has large rocks.
We were there at an exceptionally warm time. The house has no A/C and probably doesn't need it for 45 weeks of the year. Our stay was a little stuffy during the day. wished there were opening windows in the living area for cross ventilation.
Overall it is a great property and would stay again. Kevin is a gracious host and explained the area, attractions , and local dining.
Drive to Estes is 15 minutes with a nice Safeway grocery store. Easy access to the park

This is a lovely, well-appointed home with a lot of personal, thoughtful touches, such as access to a computer monitor and blankets for chilly mornings. The decks were great to relax on and enjoy the outdoors and solitude. Very peaceful. Beds were comfy; kitchen was very nice and had everything you need. Everything is modern, new, or in great shape. We always appreciate having small things like spices, a good variety of dishes, puzzles, games, etc. Easy access to Wild Basin RMNP entrance and 20 minutes from Estes Park proper. Yummy taco place in Ferncliff! Couple things to just be aware of - the last 1/2 mile road into the neighborhood is dirt and a little rough. You don’t need 4-wheel drive, but take it slow. Also, there is no cell reception at the house. WiFi works great, however.
