Excellent stay near Plitvice Lakes

Neat and clean modern rooms and bathrooms, with a lovely balcony with gorgeous views. Literally 5 minutes drive to the Plitvice National Park. Walking distance to a few restaurants and supermarket. The hosts, Liga and her husband, were very hospitable and helpful. I can highly recommend House Stefanac.

Prachtig verblijf met vriendelijke eigenaars

Handige locatie op enkele minuten rijden van de ingang van het nationale park. Prachtige kamer, ziet er nog gloednieuw uit. Kleine koelkast om water koud te leggen. Eigen parkeerplaats is voorzien bij de ingang. Er zijn rolluiken dus kan je de kamer goed donker maken. Zeer vriendelijke eigenaars!

Er is een automatische airco die de temperatuur in de ruimte gelijk houdt. Dit heeft voor en nadelen: je komt nooit terug in een extreem warme kamer, maar het nadeel was wel dat deze 's nachts als de kamer te warm werd, automatisch weer op sprong waar we wakker van werden. Als je geen lichte slaper bent, slaap je er wellicht gewoon doorheen.

Very good stay for a Plitvice visit

- super modern and clean room - all equipments are new and comprehensive! - super view from balcony with view on the landscape for sunset and sunrise ! - balcony gives a terrasse for quiet resting moment - close to some restaurants and supermarket - parkings in front and back of the building - the owner is super friendly and warm !

Really lovely and chic apartment, newly renovated, just like I would have done it myself :) The host was immensely helpful and nice. We are really happy we found this place. There were 2 nice restaurants nearby, a supermarket, a lovely little place to swim in a river. And there was a great view from our window. If you are around visiting Plitvice this is a really great place to stay.

Highly recommended !

If you go to the national park by rental car, I recommend you to stay here. It is perfect to drive 8 minutes to the National Park Entrance 1, clean interior, and terrace with a view of the countryside. It is a lovely house with a romantic view where you can see the sunrise in the morning and stars pour out at night.

Quite long to reach the caves, anyway spectacular room, deeply clean and close to the caves (about 5 minutes to entrance 1 by car). The view was also great, excellent window view above the mountains and the below garden. Everything was modern and well kept. The price... Wonderful too! The host, a super kind woman, gentle and joyful. I defenetly recommend it!

Perfect option to visit Plitvice National Park at a very fair price

The room was spotless, tasteful decoration, created with practicality in mind (windows open different ways - large closets - desk - mirror with light - hair dryer on the wall), very modern bathroom, small balcony to enjoy the great view on the valley, with AC which was necessary in June, close to a lot of great restaurant options (car is needed) as well as few kilometers from Plitvice National Park.

The phone service is not stable in the area.

Really peaceful accomodation!

Perfect location for Plitvice Lakes and the Barac Caves, peaceful and brand new! It was really clean and we were wonderfully greeted upon our arrival by the hostess and her youngest daughter. Also nearby, restaurants and a small super market. It was an excellent choice!

Perfect for visiting the lakes! I would recommend it

Location is great. We were in room 4 and had a great view when the sun rises. The room was spacious and very clean. Bathroom was clean as well.
