Relax, decompress, and unwind up in the trees at the edge of the Atlantic. Panoramic floor to ceiling windows wrap around the entirety of this unique treehouse. Wake up to the sunrise on one of three decks over-looking the marsh or simply sit and sip your coffee enjoying the spectacular view from the comfort of the couch. Smell the salty air waft up just feet from the back door. Watch the diversity of wildlife fly, sing, and prance right outside your window. The amazing pod deck can be enjoyed both day and night; surrounded by colorful flowers, string lighting, and comfortable adirondak chairs. Stand over the Marsh and step into the stars on the towering deck off the back the kitchen. Nap in the cool ocean breeze off the lower deck in a soft rope hammock. Two Bedrooms and two fully remodeled baths accompany an updated modern kitchen. TV's with streaming services in each room complete this perfect treehouse hideaway.

The Fripp Island crabbing dock is just a few steps down the road; it's the perfect place to enjoy an evening cocktail. The beach is a just few minutes away in the golf cart (included with your stay). The island has over 30 beach access points; we encourage you to explore as many as you can.

This truly is a special place to enjoy seclusion and induce total relaxation. Whether it's for a family weeklong beach trip, a weekend couples retreat, or just a place to hideout for a few nights. Join the wildlife and tranquility at the edge of Fripp Island and let our home be your sanctuary.

A golf cart is provided at no additional charge to use with your stay. We do require you sign a golf cart agreement prior to using the cart.

Amenity cards are required to dine in the club restaurants, access the pools, and play golf on the island. We DO NOT offer amenity cards to our guests and there is not a way to purchase amenity cards. There are many wonderful restaurants off the island and in Beaufort we will happily recommend.

Fripp Island is a protected wildlife sanctuary. This means the island is home to many creatures such as alligators, birds, racoons, deer, and insects. We do our diligence to provide an experience that keeps our natural friends protected and our guests safe. Please keep your distance from wildlife and remember if you do encounter any of the above; we are all vacationing in their home on Fripp.

We enjoyed our stay at the house and our visit to Fripp Island. Very much enjoyed the peacefulness of the marsh after being at the ocean all day. Loved the golf cart rides around the island and meeting fantastic people along the way. A very refreshing trip! We had a state park pass (or you can buy daily or annual passes at the gate) so we went to Hunting Island State Park each day. Having access to a park with a great beach (feels private and tropical) for wake boarding and shark tooth hunting was a daily To-Do and its great beach to enjoy beach activities. Kitchen had all the items we needed to prepare all our meals. Beds were comfy, good water pressure, loved the different areas to lounge around the house (inside and out), and it was just enough space for a family of 3 (or 4). Its good to have to be close to each other on a family vacation to keep those great connections all day. Owner is great, easy to work with and very communicative which makes renting a breeze. Loved having the golf cart, a very nice amenity. We saw tons of wildlife from all kinds of birds and crabs (sea life) to dolphins, deer (tons of deer), racoons... You name it, if it's out there, you will probably see it. Enjoyed and will be back again. Thank you!

We really enjoyed our stay. We saw many species of birds and also deer while we relaxed in the evenings and mornings from both of the nice porches. Even though there are close-by houses you feel like there is privacy. The area is quiet and away from the busier part of Fripp which is a plus. The beds are comfortable. John was friendly and responsive and the instructions for the house are clear and easy to follow. We had fun exploring the island on the golf cart. We discovered The Kitchen which is a great place to get togo salads and things to cook for dinner so check that place out if you like to be home but not cook!

I’ve always wanted to stay in one of the treehouses near the crab dock and I am so glad that we did! House was well stocked. Kitchen had everything one would need. Very clean and comfy beds, nice golf cart included. John was a joy to work with. I would recommend this house again and again. 10/10!!!

Spectacular marsh views and wonderful accommodations! It was our 4th year on the island and by far our favorite house so far! Comfortable beds, cozy environment, and everything needed for a fun, relaxing week! John was great to work with throughout the whole process. We cannot wait to come back!

It was a wonderful stay!!! More peaceful and relaxing than any other VRBO listing we’ve ever rented! The wildlife was spectacular and the views breathtaking! It was a much needed getaway and and wonderful birthday trip for my daughter who turned 11! The girls loved the golf cart! Wonderful time! We will be back for sure !!!

John's place is so special. While we are very familiar with Beaufort and the surrounding area, this was our first trip to Fripp Island and we could not have chosen a better spot. The neighborhood is very quiet and peaceful, and the beautiful beach is only a short golf cart ride away. The house felt very my like home, and we had everything we needed to enjoy our time away. John is very responsive to any messages or questions you may have. We highly recommend staying here!

Wonderful "treehouse " with large windows all around the outside which submersed us in beautiful nature. The marsh views from sunrise to sunset, high tide to low tide were wonderful to experience. Two nice decks and hammock to enjoy it all . It is located in quite area of the island which was so peaceful. We enjoyed riding bikes and golf cart all over the island. Very comfortable for my husband and I -perfect place to disconnect and relax and play. John was very easy to communicate with and the house was well stocked. We look forward to returning !

Everything was AMAZING!! The Home, the Host and most definitely the Views!! I can’t say enough about ALL three! Nothing was spared. I’ve been vacationing on FRIPP for over 20 years and recently we’ve been visiting twice a year. Honestly, this was by far our best experience yet!! You can’t go wrong staying in this Beautiful home! We have always stayed beach front; however, this time we decided to try something new! We stumbled across the property while looking for a beach house/condo on Fripp. The pictures posted lured us into booking the house for 5 nights. Bottom line, the home delivers! In either bedroom, you awake to a lush jungle view colored gold from the sun rising over the marsh. I took multiple pictures from the bed and sent them to my kids! For some reason they were a little resentful that they were not invited! Ha! The front porches overlook the marsh so that you can watch the sun rise in the morning and then watch the marsh grass, water and sky fade into a myriad of colors as the sun sets. Simply beautiful and refreshing! The house was clean, well equipped, the beds very comfortable and our host was very responsive to the smallest need! The fact that my wife offered to buy the house before we left says a lot! Be bold, think out of the box, rent this home and you will not regret it!

We had a wonderful time at this beautiful, well-equipped "treehouse" and can't wait to go back! The place was simply charming, and having access to bikes and a golf cart was a real plus. Communication with the owner was always prompt, and he really went out of his way to ensure that we would have a great time. One of our best Vrbo experiences ever!

We just spent a week at this property and everything was just perfect. From the location on the marsh to the cleanliness of the home to the quick messaging back and forth with John, the owner. We loved watching the colors on the marsh change throughout the day and we logged more than 30 species of birds. We took many walks all over the island and having the golf cart was a bonus. We also went for a bike ride on the bikes provided which were in great shape and a pleasure to ride. We are already planning another trip to this wonderful spot! Thank you John!

My husband and I spent our anniversary weekend here. The marsh views and wildlife are pure magic. The house is equipped with everything you could ask for. We enjoyed cooking, playing games, and coffee/cocktails on the porches. The real treat was the golf cart rides around the island and to all the beautiful beaches. We always appreciate finding a clean and beautiful place that is pet friendly. Love traveling with the doggo, but sometimes struggle finding something the checks all the boxes. This place delivered, and we hope to return many times. Thanks John!

We had a great time. The rental exceeded our expectations. It was well stocked with everything and the kitchen was equipped with all necessary appliances. The views from the deck are spectacular. This was one of the best vacation spots we have been to. We have nothing but praise for the property and the amenities. We hope to stay there again!

I brought my 20 year old daughter and her best friend and had just an AMAZING 5 nights in the tree house!! It was the perfect space for us and we spent every evening sitting on the deck under the stars with nature all around. The breeze the first couple nights was so cool with the palms rustling and then hitting the beach with the waves. The girls loved driving the golf cart and picking where we would spend the day on the beach. September is such a great time as the marsh is a beautiful yellow house against the blue water. We will definitely be booking another trip next year!

We absolutely loved this house! Very clean, easy to check in, exactly as pictured! Host is quick to respond and really cares about making sure you enjoy your stay. It wasn’t sunny during our whole stay, so we loved the fact that we had a golf cart to explore the island with and that we could still sit outside while it rained and enjoy the views on the lower deck since it is covered. The house is also super close to a crabbing dock and were able to catch many crabs! We can’t wait to stay here again!

This view! This place!!! So clean and stocked to a tee! The decorating and attention to detail make this the perfect little marsh side, tree house bungalow! The golf cart is kept up and newer, nice towels, sheets, extra blankets! Even a water purifier in the fridge so no need for useless bottles of water- just bring one for the trip! Kids enjoyed the bikes and boogie boards ( all new and nice!) Thank you for a wonderful stay! We will be back
