Not much
Poor decor , poor window curtains

The bed and pillows were ok. The room was fairly well presented. The manager arrived fairly quickly after phoning the number.
First of all, it’s not an inn. It’s some redecorated rooms in a fairly dilapidated town house above a shop which the management use. There is no reception so we had to call a number to have the manager come let us in. The hallway leading up some stairs had a filthy carpet.
The bathroom had no shelves for toiletries and the shower door was very narrow. There were no toiletries provided like soap, shampoo or conditioner.
The TV remote didn’t work, but the manager came promptly to replace it.
We weren’t confident that the carpet was clean enough to walk on without shoes.
The window was ill fitting and there was a draught blowing thought it.
There is no car park for the house and there is a public car park nearby with no security.
The location might be regarded as good being right in the centre of Wick, but there are so many closed and neglected shops that it really is a ghost town with very little to do.
We paid £90 for one night and I’d say that it’s worth £50 at most.

Central location.
Windows weren’t properly sealed so cold air came in all night. No one present at checkin. Had to get the bar next door to call the owner. Bed should have been replaced a decade ago. Siding and roofing were visibly falling off from the window.

Did what it said on the tin, a double room with an en-suite.
Clean and tidy room.
The hallway was a thoroughfare until later on when the front door was closed.

We were welcomed by a lovely lady (sorry cannot remember her name) nothing was too much trouble. It was in a quiet location. The beds were very comfy and the bathroom was lovely. Would highly recommend.

It was central. The staff (Joanne) was really friendly and helpful. The room was clean and well equipped.
It was a little difficult to find.

A great view from my room. Friendly owners.
To me, an Inn has a bar and food. Neither was available. The property seemed to be in the middle of renovations so it maybe better in the future.

it was clean and the host was very friendly
For the money I’d have expected a far better place.

I was delayed due to travel and although I didn’t arrive until past midnight there was still someone available to help me in.

The host is very friendly and the room is warm and comfortable. In addition, this hotel is located in a convenient location.
On the night I stayed, there were some people outside shouting until about 1am.

The property was centrally located. Parking nearby was easy to connect to the property. The host was very helpful.
Nothing to dislike. Would have like to stay longer.

Joanne who was the hostess for the Inn was an absolute angel. She cldnt have done more for me as a guest and went out of her way on numerous occasions to make sure I wanted for nothing. The warmth and kindness that Joanne exudes is rare and I’m grateful that I met her. Would return multiple times if I could.
That I didn’t stay longer☺️☺️

lovely host who was really helpful and the location.
unfortunately it was next to a late night kebab place that had a group of young adults being really loud at until 1:30ish in the morning. nothing a set of earplugs couldn’t fix though

Decent shower, in the centre overlooking car park below.
Unattended hotel, paper thin walls, green fire escape light, lack of security (key given without asking my name), no response from the owner via Booking.com messaging, noise from kebab shop below (Room 1 above the store room), draft coming through poorly fitted windows.
Left after one night of 3 night stay.

The location was perfect, situated near everything that I personally wanted to see.
The bed was firm but comfortable, it was a really pleasant sleep.
TV worked perfectly and meant I could relax inside or outside the hotel with ease.

Joanne was so friendly and welcoming! We bumped into her a few times after check-in and always enjoyed chatting with her. Parking was close and there was a fridge to use.

A lovely place to stay and Joanne was very nice and friendly also very helpful.
2.0 / 5.0
The place was hard to find as it only has a sign above a single door. It seemed more like a hostel than a hotel with shared facilities, the shower was accessed through a small and messy kitchen. There was no food available nor anywhere to eat your own.
3.0 / 5.0
This is a great little hotel if you only need it for a night. There’s easy parking right across the way and a few restaurants right next door or a few doors down.
This is absolutely a budget hotel. It is not en-suite. The windows had slight cracks to them in the seems so outside air was getting in. It took a few hours for the heating to turn on. There was a weird trick to fitting the key into the lock and there was a lot of light pollution due to an emergency light as well as another possible emergency light in the room.
