- kein WLAN in Hütte empfangen

I loved the absolute serenity of the farm. Waking up to horses and cows grazing is something I will never forget!
That I didn't book another night!

beautiful scenery and free roaming aniimals
not enough lighting

This is a stunning place. Beautiful landscape and location. The owner is really someone very special, and he was very helpful and nice. He was very quick in solving an issue with the cleaning and was particularly helpful. This is no boutique hotel. The rooms are small, like sleeping in a caravan. But when you open the door the landscape takes your breath away. Sitting there at dusk, in silence, just listing to the animals, is the best. Kuranda is about 7 minutes away by car.
The rooms could be a bit cleaner. Also, they are a bit old. The showers and other pieces of furniture could really use some updating. There is a kitchen which is shared. The restaurant is only open on weekends.

Loved the property itself. It was lovely getting to walk around the beautiful paddocks and interact with the animals!!!!
The rooms were a little cramped and not the most clean.
5.0
The location on a farm. It was a great experience - with horses, cows and alpaccas next to the rooms.
Could have supplied instant coffee and teabags.

Roaming animals and activities

Loved Ken and his helpful tips and giving the kids carrots to feed the baby goats (kids), birds, horses and sheep
Ken wasn’t around our second and last day and his sister is very unpleasant. Shouldn’t be around the guests. I asked if the kids could feed the animals and she said no not today which had been a highlight of their previous day. I asked if I could borrow an extension lead “no”, she wouldn’t suggest anything and just said no to anything we requested. Even being able to bring our own nibbles to the bar area (they don’t serve nibbles with the alcohol). There is no undercover except the bar area so if it was raining we would have had to stay in our rooms where there is no internet.

cozy and owner is very friendly
the room is so small
1.5
the animals
the serenity
the location to kuranda
the camp fire
the outdoor dining area and bar area at the restaurant
Rooms were very basic, think camping adventure but with power and running hot water! no tv, no wifi (4g reception available)
double bed hard and uncomfortable - kids in separate keylocked room with ensuite in each room.
designed for worker accomodation not young families.
our stay was not good value at all
air con difficult to operate (we worked it out by removing a picture concealing the controls)
shared kitchen amenities were rather haphazard dirty and not serviced in the time we were there (ie bins weren’t emptied)
no functioning smoke detectors
exposed wires
slippery bath mats in shower cubicles
4.5
the serenity
