The place was well equipped. The host was responsive easy to get in touch with. We had family matters in Travelers Rest so unable to do any site seeing. We were able to come back every evening and unwind in the peaceful country setting and mystical home.

This property was a little hidden gem, tucked away from major highways and lots of cars, but it wasn't too far from plenty of things to do in Traveler's Rest and Greenville. The inside of the dome was comfortable and quiet, and the host really thought of everything you could possibly need. The host was very accommodating and prompt when answering questions, and provided very detailed information about the property, so it was super easy to find the property, get inside, log into wifi, turn on lights, etc. Overall, the dome and the property were great! Wish we could've stayed longer, but we will certainly be back!

This place is very unique for sure. Inside is snug but worked well for our family of 4. The outside is very nice with the fire pit and swing and built in games. We thoroughly enjoyed it and would definitely recommend you try it out.

My husband and I got married at Pretty Place Chapel and we stayed at the hobbit house following our reception! It was a lovely little house and the property owner was AMAZING!!!

AMAZING!!! We had a wonderful time. It was a lovely place inside but the outside space was incredible! The fire pit area, swing, hammock with lights all around was the place we spent hours into the night telling stories and laughing together! Can’t wait to go back!

Me, my mom, and our 2 dogs stayed here. The house is quaint and has everything you need. Very peaceful! Super clean and the futon bed was comfy. The backyard is awesome. My dogs loved being able to sniff and explore. We enjoyed playing horseshoes and the swing was awesome. It is close to alot of fun outdoor activities, like state parks, and we will be booking again next year during apple season!!

Loved my stay at the Hobbit Hideaway. Jacob was very helpful in answering my questions. The place was so cute and peaceful with a yard to roam in with my dogs and so many terrific hikes less than 30 minutes away. Would highly recommend for a peaceful getaway.

Stopped here as a midpoint overnight stay for a road-trip. As soon as we arrived, we got really excited. The home itself is very cute and unique. Space is small but literally everything you need to be comfortable (black out curtains if you needed them, paper plates, extra blankets). Also have to compliment the cleanliness. Out of the many places I’ve stayed at using VRBO this was hands down the cleanest place I’ve stayed out (thank you). Now on the outside…it is set up to hang out and have a good time. Firewood was set up for a first fire (which we leveraged), a bench swing, a hammock, horse shoe, and a couple of other outdoor games to keep the good times going. My dogs had a great time exploring the area—which is quiet. The listing title captures what awaits you, a Hobbit Hideaway.

The Hobbit Hideaway was a wonderful launching pad for our mini-vacay adventures. Everything we needed was there! We had fun playing horseshoes, throwing the hatchets, laying in the hammock, and swinging by the campfire! Plus the internet was great! We went to Caesar’s Head, The Pretty Place, Bridge City Coffee, Chicora’s Alley, Mountain House at Caesar’s Head, Pumpkintown Mountain Opry, the Table Rock Tea Company, Table Rock State Park, and Hagood Historic Mill…to name a few!

The Hobbit home is such a unique and beautiful place to get away at a great value. The decor and layout of the space is well appointed and clean. Not to mention, the host is an excellent communicator. I only wish I had more time to enjoy this place and it’s other amenities. Looks like I will need to book again :-) Highly recommend for anyone visiting the area!

The property and home were both beautiful and unique. Home is well kept and owner was very friendly and helpful. My only complaint which is of no fault of the property owner, but you have to drive through a rundown trailers neighborhood to get to the home. Was just unexpected. Would stay there again though.
