This four-bedroom, two-bathroom paradise comes equipped with everything except the cheeseburgers, which you can cook on our conveniently provided charcoal grill and take in the stars as you sit around the outdoor firepit!
Location: Fish Village beach community on the east end of Galveston Island, Texas
Beach access: A quick 3 minute car ride to Stewart Beach!
Private pool: This home features an in-ground pool ranging from 3ft to 6ft deep.

Lost Shaker of salt has a fully fenced back yard perfect for your furry friends and privacy while swimming in the beautiful inground pool with the family. The backyard also features a nice seating area, a charcoal grill and a firepit that everyone is sure to enjoy!
Walking into the home, the living room is spacious and decorated with beautiful modern accents that are going to have you feeling right at home along with a wet bar area. Off of the living room you will find the gameroom with plenty of fun for the whole family with 2 full over full bunk beds for the kiddos. There’s a fully stocked kitchen with lots of cabinet and counter space.
Down the hall you will find one bathroom with a stand up shower, and a clean white vanity with great lighting. There are 2 more bedrooms with 1 king bed in each and another bathroom with a tub/shower combo with gorgeous marble tile.
Off of the living room you will also find a bed room with a jumbo bean bag, flat screen TV, 1 queen size bed, and 1 full over full bunk bed along with access straight out to the pool and backyard.
This home is the perfect place for a relaxing get away to the Texas coast!

- All pets must be approved by our team, stay off of all furniture, be cleaned up after in the yard, and not left alone inside the home unless in a kennel.
- No parking allowed on lawns, yards, empty grass lots or other neighbors’ driveways, even if their home appears unoccupied.
- Oversized vehicles/trailers are not permitted unless explicit approval has been received from our team.
- Do not turn the AC below 70 degrees. If you do, you will risk the AC unit freezing up, requiring it to thaw out which will result in the home getting extremely warm.
- The homeowner's routine pool maintenance cannot be rescheduled and is required for the health and safety of our guests. They will not need to access the home but will access the yard.
- Should an eviction occur due to breaking house rules (noise ordinance violations, excessive guests and/or vehicles beyond the agreed amount), there will be an $850 fine.

Where do I begin? The pool was great. Perfectly placed to be shaded during the early evening hours. After that let’s begin…The floors and bathrooms were disgusting. Some of the bath towels were see through. The furniture is very worn. It was very much appreciated that the cleaning staff came out and cleaned again for us but they didn’t do a very good job and were only there for 10-15 minutes and all they did was spray Fabuloso on the floor and rub it around with a dry mop. We also saw a large amount of bugs and smeared, dead mosquitoes all over the walls. The place has a lot of potential but some TLC is needed.

We had a large group stay here and it worked well for us. While there were some cleanliness issues and some things that needed repairs, overall we enjoyed our stay. The rooms were spacious, the beds were comfortable, the arcade games were a huge hit with all ages and the pool was great as well. Russell was quick to reply and easy to work with. We’d stay here again on another trip to Galveston.

We paid top dollar to stay here for 3 nights thinking this was a nice place. It’s the most disgusting place I’ve ever stayed. Outside of cleaning toilets and changing sheets (hopefully), I don’t think they clean. There is dirt, grime, and filth all over the walls, doors, and baseboards. We had a bug issue with a ton of bugs coming into one of the bedrooms during the night bc the window doesn’t close completely. Also, the washer and dryer smell like moldy mildew nastiness. The pool was dirty.
The second bathroom flooring is coming up and is in pieces. There are no toilet paper holders or towel holders in either bathroom. Also in the “game room” they must have ran out of flooring because part of the room is just concrete. One of the beds is covering it so you wouldn’t know, except you have to move the bed to use the ladder to get to the top bunk because they put the ladder up against the wall.
They also say they have a dining room table, but there isn’t one. You have to eat at the kitchen island or on the couches.
Lastly they have a giant security light right outside of two of the bedrooms (that’s what attracted the bugs) that makes it like daylight when it’s nighttime. If you like it dark when you sleep, bring a sleep mask because you won’t get sleep here.
I would never stay here again and next year when everyone comes down for the beach tournament, I’ll make sure everyone we know knows not to stay here.

The place was a bit dirty -- wherever we walked with our barefeet, we'd collect a lot of dirt. Also, we tried to bake something in the oven, but the oven would not close, so we had to hold the oven door shut. Also, we found dirty towels in the washing machine.

Perfect location and perfect size for all of our family. We absolutely had the best time and made lots of memories. Thank you so much for making the process easy and look forward to renting this property again in the near future. Only one complaint and that didn't even bother us too bad...
whoever it is that cleans and inspects the house should pay closer attention. The kitchen and cabinets weren't clean. The island had splatters of dried liquid. The shower could have been inspected better. And I replaced the batteries in every single remote because they didn't work. Also the front door needs some TLC. These things are small compared to the amount of memories we got to make.

The house is a good size with lots of room to move around. The pool area and the patio were nice. The arcade games were very cool. The location was very convenient. Overall, our stay was enjoyable, however the house just needed some attention. The house was not cleaned well before we arrived for one thing.
Floor tiles were loose, the gate latch was falling off, pavers were tipped over, blemishes on the walls and just minor things that could be rectified. I adjusted the height of the shower curtain because it was dragging on the floor. Aside from these minor issues, the place is very pleasant.

Unfortunately we didn’t get to stay due to a family emergency.
But we’re looking forward to booking again. It will accommodate our party and the game room is a bonus for our grandchildren.
I know the area well, it’s in a quiet peaceful neighborhood. Very close to the ferry, beach, restaurants and shopping.
I would highly recommend this property and the owner is very attentive to your concerns and needs.

I don't want to give a bad review because the house was just what we needed to enjoy our three days in Galveston. So instead, I am calling this a suggestion review. There was a strip of the flooring between the kitchen and the living room that was partially gone, and partially nailed down. Well, my mother's toe caught it, my son tripped over it as so did my husband and he almost fell. It's definitely a trip hazard. The only other thing to suggest is too clean up the backyard. All of the plants were dead and needed pulled and the palm trees needed some definite maintenance. So, the suggestion would be to have the backyard pool area actually match the pictures on the website. I looked at so many houses before I picked this one and the backyard was a selling point, so I was disappointed that this one was not cared for more.

Location was great, pool was great for the kids. Could have been cleaner upon arrival, although it didn't bother me. There were piles of swept up trash and not picked up. Kitchen could have used a larger selection of cook ware but we made do. So, may want to bring extras, did have extra toilet paper and trash bags (a plus for air bibs)
Pet friendly and I think I can speak for her she WAS SO HAPPY SHE GOT TO GO ON VACA WITH MOM!!!!!
Loved the bedrooms and the game room and ended up sleeping in there on the bottom bunk one night watching Tv. Still comfy ! WILL BE BACK!

This place was perfect for me & my family! It had everything we needed and more. The arcade games were fun & the pool was a hit! The owner checked in with us to make sure everything was ok. We will definitely stay here again if we are traveling to the area.

We had 5 kiddos and two moms, 4 of the kids were between 5-8.
Property was clean, nice pool, extra beds, game room was a hit. We utilized this property to the fullest.
A few minor things, this property was not in walking distance but was a short drive to the Pier/beach area. There were a couple of gas stations to get snacks at in close walking distance as well as a park.
For our age kiddos, it would have been nice if there would have been some pool toys (floaties, noodles, etc.). We flew in so did buy a few things locally but did have to leave them there as we didn't have room to fly back with them.
The host for this home was wonderful, very responsive and quick to answer. They were also able to help with a cooler, cabana, life vests, etc. We enjoyed our day at the beach with all of that stuff.

Absolutely loved staying here. We had a group of friends staying here before heading out on a cruise together. The house was close to port and was just a wonderful spot. Russell was great to work with!! We will definitely be staying here again.

This home was an amazing size, great price and in a great area for my family. We did have a slight issue with the cleanliness upon arrival but we discussed that with the property manager who was quick to respond. We would definitely recommend this home.
