Excellent host

Spotless accommodation. Under cover parking for our bikes. Free coffee and tea, but not in the room. Great host.

No ensuite, so shared toilet/shower facilities.

Nice stay

Beautiful villa in the centre of town, very nice owner, clean room, very good beds. Dinner and bar in nearby hotel.

No real place to put our clothes, although there was a drawer under the bed.

Shaun was Glgreat host, very friendly and inviting. we booked this room 20mins prior to getting there at roughly 10.15pm so a bit short notice and late at night, however no grumbles from host met with a warm smile and a handshake, was offered tea and coffee making facilities. The rooms and place itself was very clean and tidy, very spacious rooms with a comfy sofa and kitchen table down stairs, beds were made with towels and soap at the foot of the bed, the bed was really comfy and spacious. The bedroom itself was very large.

Very friendly host, great location near the station, coop and the start of a good walk. Very clean. Perfect accommodation for what we needed (though please be aware currently no access to cooking facilities, though a kettle and tea/coffee are provided)

Loved this place. I would happily recommend the accommodation to my friends and family.

Great location with everything you want straight outside the front within walking distance, inside the property was still very quiet though. The accommodation is spotless and tastefully decorated. The host was attentive and friendly.

Creaking floorboards! The house is very old and it’s impossible to sneak about without announcing your intentions. I tried several times to traverse from my bedroom to the front without causing a creak - got caught every time 🤣😂. It will keep the kids amused for hours!

A quiet and peaceful place to take a pause from the trials of traveling.

The building was wonderfully charming, and my room was immaculately clean with a very comfortable bed and pillows. The host Shaun was friendly and was right there with anything that was needed, without being intruding. The location right in the heart of Kingussie it was within an easy stroll of the charming little town and a short drive to many of the prime sights of the Cairngorms.

I found everything to exceeded my expectations.

Perfect for our purposes. 😊

It was clean, warm and comfortable (those wonderful duvets!) and the owner Shaun was super friendly. He also extended check-out time for us after most people had had a late night at The Final Fling, which was very good of him.

I thought there would be shower gel, which wasn’t the case but it was ok. Also, the soap dish in the shower can’t be used as it’s at an angle and stuff just slides off. Perhaps another few hooks or similar in the room would be good to store stuff although we were ok once we discovered the under-bed drawers.

Was thoroughly impressed with the Gynack Villa, the room and bathroom were immaculate and the owner was welcoming and laid back. Spacious downstair areas to relax in. Very pleasant atmosphere and perfectly situated to close by immineties and the "Final Fling Gig" at The Dell. Would thoroughly recommend this gem of a find to all. Paula

Very expensive for such accomodation with facilities not working and an owner not friendly.

The room was nicely decorated and the bed comfortable.

The facilities not working (shower with quite no pressure, toilets not flushing correctly), only 1 bathroom for 6 rooms and the owner not friendly. While leaving with 2 suitcases he made us make the detour by the main entrance door to access the parking in order to not disturb a family member in the kitchen where the access door to the parking is located ... no more comment, stay with your family and no more welcome guests ...

The location is great and the hosts were super nice and accommodating. They even booked us a dinner reservation and gave a lot of good tips and recommendations for the area and events. Everything was clean and nice in the room and it was quiet so we got a good nights sleep. Really recommended if you are looking for a stay in the area!

Quality

The villa was a home from home. Shaun was a superb host. He was very accommodating and helpful. My room was cosy, clean, comfortable, quiet. Could easily sleep after a day out. The villa's location is ideal for exploring the Cairngorms: train station is very close (convenient for getting to Aviemore), while Kingussie High Street is right outside with a wide variety of shops and restaurants. A great base, you can quite easily reach many of the surrounding parts of the National Park by bike or car as they are all excellently linked. Cheers!
