We rented the townhouse for a weekend in September in Venice, and got to experience life as a local. The townhouse is filled with art, primarily photos of celebrities, and one could easily fantasize being a celebrity on holiday in this romantic getaway. The check-in was all handled by the Pallazina Grassi staff, which was very professional and convenient, with the water taxi right there- nothing could be easier. There are food shops just up the block, and if we had more time we could have cooked like locals. The rooftop deck aka altana is the hidden gem, and where we spent most of our time. Only thing to note when traveling with two couples is that there is a gap between the size and decor of the master bedroom and the second bedroom, making for a slightly awkward coin toss to start the visit. We were also supplied water and some delicious biscuits upon arrival. All in all a fabulous place to visit, and I’d go back any time! (Yes I won the coin toss)
