Position, literally 10mins by walk away from Bourton centre. Very beautiful cottage, which fit a family of 8. We had a real good time.
Nothing I didn’t like, we just had problem at the beginning with hot water. We didn’t had hot water for the whole first morning but the guy who manage the house, came by and fixed it

The property was very spacious with plenty of bedrooms/bathrooms, parking and great facilities. We really enjoyed our stay.

A beautiful, spacious and well-equipped house with spacious rooms, an equipped kitchen and a nice garden. The location is very close to the town center where there are restaurants and shops. The contact with the host was excellent through the app
Everything was wonderful. Unfortunately we didn't have enough time there

Spacious, well organised, extremely clean, lots of bathrooms, helpful staff, lovely little garden, perfect position. Nothing negative to say. Had a great stay
Nothing to not like.

Bourton on the water was amazing, we loved everything around us
Absolutely nothing. It was perfect

Lovely house close to the center of Bourton on the Water. Ample space for us all to visit for a family wedding. Super clear instructions and very helpful with check in and out.
No dislikes, absolutely fine for our stay.

Good size with lots of bathrooms .
Bland decor but very functional. Would go back .

Perfect distance from the main town and the property was beautiful

Spacious inside and good parking. Lots of bathrooms and beds. The conservatory gives good room for multiple conservations amongst the family.
Back room is a bit musty and the garage (where the washer is) is even more so.

Place was well kept ... Almost close to the main city centre...
Well nothing much i disliked about the place ....yes one thing would like to put in front of the owner ...the water pressure while taking the shower was very less....rest all was good 😊
4.5
nice home very clean and good location
the water pressure not good
especially in the shower room at 2nd floor

The cottage was clean and comfortable. We were able to get in before the advertised time. It is within walking distance of Bourton on the Water. The kitchen was adequately equipped for 5 of us although we didn't actually do any cooking.
The water pressure was not good in the double ensuite or the family bathroom. The showers were weak and the toilet paper did not flush away first time. The sitting room only comfortably sat 4 adults but we were able to move a chair from the conservatory.

The location was excellent and the house was a good size for a group of 7 and a dog!
Plenty of space and the beds were nice and comfortable
We did some cooking and did feel that for a group of 7 we could have done with a few more big pans. Apart from that the kitchen was well stocked

The house is excellently located for access to the high street and for attractions (such as the bird sanctuary). The facilities are excellent and it made our trip even more relaxing.

There were 3 bathrooms + downstairs loo, and enough bedrooms to sleep 3 couples. Extra spaces downstairs too. It was a comfortable, convenient and warm space to spend 2 nights with friends. Good walking distance into Bourton-on-Water, great places there to eat in the evening.
It's not a place with a great atmosphere or style, but doesn't pretend to be! A few missing items in kitchen - eg. Egg cups, bread board.

Elvington cottage had all the amenities of home and made for a big comfortable space with our group and doggy. The check in process was easy, and communication with the owner was great! There was butter, eggs, coffee, milk, and sugar all left for us to use, the beds were all big and comfortable, and there were some great walking paths behind the house that took us through some beautiful parts of the Cotswolds. The location was perfect - close enough to walk into Bourton on the water but far enough away where it wasn’t noisy. We loved using the BBQ, sitting outside, and had family dinners every night together. Its perfect for kids (highly recommend the Wildlife park in Buford, the small playground with a zip line in Bourton) and groups of people coming together for a relaxing weekend. This house had a lot of charm and decor, including games for the kids to play, a mini library, and a tiny bathroom under the stairs. I would come back and stay here for every visit! We loved it.
With a house this size, it’s understandable that check in time is later than normal (5pm) and check out is earlier (10am) than some of other to accommodate for cleaning. The owner communicated with us as soon as it was ready and we were able to get in much earlier seller than planned! He offered to let us park when we arrived there as well.

lovely spacious home and a very thoughtful welcome pack left for us. comfortable beds and clean.
The property is very dated, no egg cups and we repeatedly had to go into the garage where the fuse board was as the upstairs power kept tripping. A bit upset that I got a text the day I arrived telling me I was checking out the next day when I had booked for 2 nights.

It was comfortable and clean with plenty of space to relax and enjoy time with the family. Nice touch having a Christmas tree. It was near enough to walk into town and enjoy the lovely scenery.
My only concern was that there weren't enough pots and pans and baking dishes for a large group or family, we nearly had a roast potato panic for Christmas dinner 😂

Very comfortable beds. Great location and everything we needed. Light and cheerful house as the name implies.
Can't think of anything

The host was quick with replies, very genuine, and helped me with different queries. The house was very cosy with all the appliances, cookery, and cutlery you'd need. All rooms have a sink and 2 had en suites, so it was very easy to live with a big group.

On main road 10 minutes walk from village centre (but no issue with traffic noise) parking for 2 cars detailed instructions in welcome pack e-mailed in advance. 3 showers 3 toilets everywhere spotless & plenty of room to relax. Excellent wi-fi.

Great location, just a 10mins stroll into town. the house was fully equipped and they had even left a loaf of bread, butter, eggs and milk in the fridge. the house really clean and we had a good sleep during the stay. it’s also kids friendly.
the bathroom and the shower rooms needs a bit of refurb. it’s very dated and there was mould on the shower head.
4.5
very clean property with well stocked kitchen cupboards (utensils, crockery etc) and the bedding and towels were lovely and soft.
about a ten minute walk into the centre of town, perfect location

beautiful house, David was helpful on any need.
the house is clean and fun to stay at, in a good location and suitable for kids (one cat darken the room for them!!).
All of the rooms were very welcoming and cozy.
The water in the bathrooms could do better but it wasn't an issue.

Excellent location with the ability to walk into Bourton on the Water. The house was generally very clean and you could see that the sofa's and dining room furniture were new. The beds were lovely and comfortable and the bedlinen and towels very good quality. A welcome pack was provided as well as handsoap and loo rolls which was good to see. There were plenty of plates, crockery, glasses and utensils.
The downstairs toilet under the stairs was carpeted and smelt of urine so myself and my family would not use this. The garden is small but pretty but looked a bit neglected with dead plants in pots, dirty windowsills - shame as it could be lovely with a little tidying up.
Generally the house was very clean but I was surprised for such a lovely house how old fashioned and dated the decor was. It looked like someone had literally just moved out with old picture hooks etc. It needs decorating.
Rubbish bins in the garden were full up and there was no provision for recycling.
