Nice hostel and pretty social. Good chill out areas and lovely staff. Rooms were simple but comfortable. We didn’t use the pool but it looked like people enjoyed it! Also cute cats 😊
Only downside really is the location - it’s very far away from all of the main things to do in the city.

Great communal area, spacious rooms with their own shared bathroom so your only sharing with the people you bunk with. The beds where comfy with plugs and lots of space. No curtains on the beds but I’m not phased about that. Staff where very attentive and helpful. Happy hour! And food was ok too. Two water coolers, pool was great! Can do laundry here too
The wifi in the common area is great but none in the rooms. Our room shower flooded but they sorted it quickly

The location is great. Nearby malls and stores. Easy to find food.
1. Considering how essential for some people to have internet through wifi and unfortunately there is NO WIFI in the room and it sucks. Wifi only availabe in common space.
2. Arrived at the hotel around 23.00 PM after long flight, so exhausted. Knowing that there is no LIFT made me so mood swing at the same time. With my super huge luggage, can you imagine bringing it to the 3rd floorn in the middle of the night.
3. No free drinking water as a compliment.
4. The blanket is just super thin white bed sheet.
5. I spent 3 nights and everyday I put sign "please clean up my room' but they NEVER clean up my room, EVER!!
6. Don't forget to bring your own towel because the hotel DOES NOT provide it.

I spent one night as an in-between spot for Cebu and Moalboal. I chose it because the bus to Moalboal passes right by the street in front of the hostel, so it was convenient for not having to go to the South Bus Terminal in the morning. The hostel has a pool, but I didn't use it. There was a locker outside the room if you wanted to keep store something, but otherwise the rooms were quite basic and there's no big locker on the inside.
The room I was in was a little musty, but was better when the AC was turned on. It was a little dead when I was there, but I don't know if this was the place for partying anyway.

I loved my stay at Nacho. I was met with the warmest welcome from the staff. Every single person I interacted with – from reception to housekeeping – was friendly, helpful, and went above and beyond to make my stay enjoyable. They provided local tips, helped me plan day trips, bring everyone together for the happy hour, fun Kareoke nights and even made food for us on New Years. I don't know the gentleman's name that looks after the hostel but he was a gem! Thank you so much! The hostel is a bit far from the CBD but the surrounding areas boasts several malls perfect for grabbing essentials or local food. My room was minimal but fairly spacious, aircon worked well, the shower pressure isn't great but it does have warm water. The outdoor pool was clean and refreshing and the bar/common area was great.
My room is next to a local village so I was woken up by the roosters at 5am everyday.
The rooms have no wifi and no mobile signal. There's wifi at reception or the common area only.

The hostel is nice, the bar and restaurant area are a great spot to meet fellow travellers. The pool is great to cool off in on hot days. The staff were friendly and the rooms were comfortable
Far from city

The thing that makes this accommodation outstanding are the staff— after the first day, all members of the staff greeted me by name, and they were the sweetest, funniest, most attentive and helpful staff I have ever encountered.
The location is conveniently located near a mall and a grocery store, which is nice (but note that the hostel has a restaurant with great food, and they ask you patron their location. Grocery is convenient for grabbing little snacks, though!)
The WiFi was spotty, and did not work in most of the rooms.

Le personnels est vraiment très agréable....les chambres sont fonctionnelles et propres.
Peut être un peu éloigné du centre ville.

This place met my needs just fine. It was a small room with AC and a bathroom. The towels were so soft. The staff was friendly and helped me arrange an early morning taxi to the airport. The location was great for getting to the airport.

The communal area is nice and so is the pool
The rooms are huge with just a bed and it feels like a prison it’s so empty. When we arrived we got given a room that hadn’t been cleaned yet so moved to another one, the decor really needs to be updated and the shower pressure is bad. It’s so far away from the airport and the traffic to get in and out of the city is horrendous so you feel trapped there.

Great happy hour and entertainment, social setting, friendly staff, 24 hour check in
No where to lie comfortably near the pool except 2 bean bags.

The towels were not included in the price. Breakfast is quite modest

I loved the staff. They are friendly, accomodating, helpful and corteous. The hostel overall is quite chill. The huge bar and lounge area is certainly a plus for travelers. I won't forget the day my room wouldn't close, the first person I told fixed it immediately on-the-spot. This is a great place to stay, I may be critical of specific policies, but this would certainly be a fine place to book for any traveler.
I was really heart-broken about the outside food policy. This hostel is in a poor area, and on my first day I walked around every back-alley I could find.
See I really hate traveling like an outsider. If I wanted to have air conditioning and pricey fancy food, why would I have left home?
The area you find when you take a left after leaving the hostel is particularly special. I walked through those winding alleyways for hours. There are so many kids in this area, their parents sell food out of their houses to make just a little more money to provide for them. If the guests of this hostel are discouraged from spending money on food outside of the hostel, that takes away a huge possible source of income for the poorer families in the area. Why would these land/property owners knowlingly and intentionally deprive the less fortunate in the area of income? These hostel people are nice, so it's very hard for me to understand.
Not only that, but the food here is just incredibly expensive. I could go to any number of carenderia and local food stalls within 50-100m of the hostel and not spend more than 100 php and walk away with spare food. Most of the dishes at the hostel are at least 200php. Not only that, but the pritong manok (fried chicken) sold just outside the doors for 20-30php/piece is one of the most delicious pieces of fried chicken I've ever had.
I believe the policy and signs must have been put in place by the owner, the staff didn't seem to mind when I brought in outside food and non-alcoholic drinks. It still left a terrible first impression on me though.
I really do understand the spirit of this policy as it pertains to alcohol, but I can't understand applying this same policy for food. I really recommend the owners reconsider their signs discouraging the guests from eating outside and encouraging them to buy food from the hostel.

The property is clean, organized, and it’s accessible. Also, the staff is accommodating and hospitable to its customers. There are lots of activities you can try. Table tennis, playing billiards, watching netflix, and swimming in the pool.
