This basement apartment is like an unexpected jewel. The home is older, but when we opened the door to the VRBO, it was a pleasurable shock! It was well updated, clean, peaceful, and everything the description stated. We enjoyed our time there, sharing meals, playing games, etc.
The owners provided bathroom items, extra towels, trash bags, dish soap, dishwasher pods, etc,, in abundance.
The neighbor upstairs was always pleasant when we crossed paths.
Location:
Close by, less than a mile away, is Sloane Park, which is a beautiful city park with walking paths, play areas, etc. around a large lake. We enjoyed a sunset and 3 mile walk around the lake.
Easy access to downtown Denver one way, Golden, Red Rocks, Clear Creek Canyon, and I-70 West the other. Boulder is less than an hour away, Rocky Mountain National Park 2 hours.
(my husband and I took a walk around Mountair Park, across the street, but it was a homeless hang-out, so we didn't return)
All in all, this was a great stay and we'd come again!

My friend and I were in town for a few days and stayed 3 nights at this property. The space had everything we needed, including a kitchen with cookware and utensils for making our daily breakfasts.
The location was convenient and only a 15 minute drive to Golden and 15 minutes to downtown Denver.
It was much hotter than usual for the area during our stay but the basement stayed pretty comfortable. One recommendation would be a fan in the back bedroom or another window A/C unit to help cool the space for hot sleepers.
Our only concern, which others have commented on, was the tidiness of the neighbor upstairs. The porch above the entrance to the basement unit was covered with a lot of miscellaneous items, including shoes that kept finding their way to the path of our basement walkway. There was also some trash that found it's way to the driveway near our parking spot due to the overflowing trash cans at the curb.
Overall we were happy with the spot and we would stay here again.

The property was comfortable! Clean! The uber driver worried us by telling us it wasn’t a great area but we didn’t have any issues. Overall an excellent place to stay.

Nice little place…very comfy, but…
Neighborhood is less than desirable and footsteps and music from upstairs can be aggravating..

Spent just short of a week here with the kids, looking at colleges and exploring Denver/Boulder area. The proximity of this place is ideal for seeing everything. Easy access to major thoroughfares, nearby Dutch Bros, Little Man Ice Cream, and In-and-Out (kids' favorites). The unit was incredibly clean and stocked with the necessities in case we didn't bring them. We were well taken care of my the property managers, who checked in regularly and answered questions promptly. I have no complaints at all and am glad we chose to stay here.

Coming from FL, I am not used to living under someone. When I read the ad that said “beautiful apartment” I’m thinking it’s an actual apartment. Check in was easy, instructions were clear except for where to park because apparently I was parking on the wrong side of the driveway. The place is cute has everything you need for the kitchen, bring PAM because everything will stick to your pans even with butter. The TV is streaming only and their internet is not good down in the basement so you’ll get a lot of blurry TV despite asking to reset the router. There was pet hair everywhere which we cleaned, a few spiders, and the sound of king kongs footsteps literally 24/7, and if the sound of the footsteps doesn’t get to you, the electric guitar at 1 am and 8 am will. When I complained to VRBO they told me that “it’s hard to tell someone they can’t play a guitar in their own home.” Fine. But don’t ask me how you can make my stay “perfect.” I find it completely rude and inconsiderate I paid $1300 for 10 days and I have to deal with someone playing their guitar over my head. It’s a good thing I am here for work because if it was a vacation I would be pissed. The water pressure in the shower is excellent and the water is hot. The beds are comfy. The neighborhood is a little sketch.

We enjoyed our stay here! Easily accessible, friendly neighbors. It is a downstairs unit where a tenant lives above but it didn’t cause any problems! A cozy comfy and clean apartment, close to down town!

If you are looking for a comfortable place to lay your head in Denver that is located minutes from everywhere, definitely consider this home! Communication was outstanding and we had everything we needed for our stay. The only thing it lacked was a washer/dryer, but we made due with what we brought. Beds were comfortable and the heating worked great for the house. The upstairs neighbors are a little heavy footed, but we were out most of the days we were there and only heard them for a few hours at night. Will definitely keep this property in mind when we come back to Colorado!

Apartment was great! Very clean, comfortable beds and homey. The internet was pretty slow, only option for television is streaming, would of liked to see local channels. Would stay here again. 5⭐️.

You can live like you’re at home. Big comfy couch and literal full kitchen. Even had a crock pot. It was cold but after a few back and forth messages it turned out the heater for the main space was hidden behind the couch but once we turned it on the place was perfect!

Great basement apartment with 2 bedrooms (1 king bed) full kitchen, living room and bathroom. Everything with the home itself was great. Location is a bit sketchy, but denver neighborhoods seem to change pretty quickly. We didnt have any specific problems, but saw some sketchy activity in the vicinity. Just know that going in. Location makes it easy to get to any part of denver

Fresh towels and beds. Had everything you really need for a short/or long stay. Wi-Fi wasn’t the best but did the job for streaming some movies at night. Very clean and comfortable spot! Would definitely book again!

I really enjoyed this clean and very cozy apartment. It had everything that we needed. Very comfortable beds and couch, well stocked kitchen, since it’s a basement apartment it was nice and cool and we didn’t even need to use the AC, even though it was 95 degrees in Denver. It was conveniently located to downtown Denver, 15 min drive and there was a beautiful lake less than a mile away

We were greeted by several spiders upon entry to the house. When i notified the hosts, they were very quick to respond.
The neighborhood isnt the best, but you wouldn't know it, unless someone told you. My aunt told me it was a bad neighborhood, but I didn't feel unsafe at all.
The i side was very cute and comfortable.

We really enjoyed our stay. The apartment was cute and very comfortable. The beds were the most comfortable I’ve ever stayed on away from home. It was well stocked with necessary items for a short stay. Loved that it had plenty of towels and throw blankets. The area was a little questionable, being so close to commercial businesses but we never felt unsafe and it was very convenient to where all we were going.
