Manzanita Bliss is tucked away from the hustle and bustle, yet just 2 blocks to the beach and a short walk to the quaint town of Manzanita. You'll enjoy resting in the comfort of this cozy home and sitting outside on the patio or deck taking in the fresh sea air. Manzanita Beach is a small, friendly beach town 23 miles south of Seaside, OR and 25 miles north of Tillamook. It's known for its beautiful 7-mile stretch of beach with views of Neahkahnie Mountain, wonderful shops and friendly people.
This home accommodates 6 people with 2 bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms. The house has recently been updated with new finishes, amenities and furnishings to make sure your stay is the most memorable. The main floor is made up of an open plan Kitchen, Living , Dining and Reading/ Game Area. The living room features a large L sectional with sleeper sofa and Smart TV. A small seating area in front of the gas log fireplace and reading / game area give everyone plenty of options to sit and relax. A small office off the main living area features a desk and daybed.
Bedrooms have all been updated for comfort and relaxation. The master bedroom upstairs includes a king size bed, lounge area, desk, full bath and private sun deck. The large bedroom downstairs includes two queen size beds as well as a full private bath. The living room features a large sectional with queen sleeper sofa.
The kitchen has been updated with a expansive island and counter seating for four. It is well equipped for cooking meals, or simply bring in take-out and enjoy eating at dining table inside or outside (both accommodate 6). A BBQ with BBQ utensils is provided in the back garden deck area.
Our studio office in the back garden feature a desk, futon and TV with DVD player.
Manzanita Bliss is Pet Friendly and allows reservations to have 2 Dogs up to 50 pounds. We do charge a pet fee of $20.00 per night for reservations with Pets. Please make sure to add your pet to your reservation at time of booking.
A covered front patio features 4 Adirondack Chairs and a firepit as well as a outdoor heater for rainy days or cooler evenings.
An outdoor shower with warm water is provided to wash off sand from the beach.
If you really want to sit down and watch the waves, sunrise or sunset, the Manzanita beach is the place!!

We absolutely loved our stay at the Manzanita Bliss! The home was very clean, cozy, fully stocked with everything you may need, and comfortable. Whoever decorated this house did a great job, too! Our little family loved our summer vacation here. We will definitely be back!

We loved staying at Manzanita Bliss! The host was responsive and check-in was uneventful. The house is in a very quiet neighborhood, about a 20 minute walk to town but just 2 short blocks to the beach. The house is really cute, the kitchen was fully equipped and great even with multiple cooks, the fireplace roars, and the master bedroom is dreamy! The bathroom options are good, too. We would stay here again in a heartbeat!

On of the nicest VRBO properties we've stayed in. Well equipped kitchen, comfortable beds, pleasant outdoor spaces. Pet friendly is a real plus. It's an easy short walk to the beach along two lightly trafficked dead end streets. Communication with the host was easy and timely. Parking is a bit tight but adequate. It easily accommodated two mid size SUV's.

We absolutely loved our stay at Kim's property. We immediately felt at home and enjoyed hanging out inside and out in the beautifully manicured yard. The quick walk to a quieter part of the beach was just perfect for our pup as well. Will most definitely try and stay here again in the future. Thanks for the hospitality!

We loved staying at Manzanita Bliss! The house was very well cleaned and just lovely - lots of space, beautiful, large, and well-stocked kitchen, and many extra touches throughout the house to make you feel at home. The owner was incredibly responsive too. I inquired about fans in the house since the weather was unusually hot, and she responded very quickly and procured us fans so we were able to sleep comfortably. This place is amazing and I’m already booking for next year!

This was a beautiful home in a great location. It had everything you might need and SO MUCH SPACE to enjoy it in. It's a 20 minute walk to the main drag in Manzanita and minutes to the beach. Hope to be back soon.

We’ve rented homes for two decades and this is the best we’ve stayed in. This home was very very well equipped. They thought of everything. It was very clean and there was plenty of space for our family of 5 to spread out, sleep, eat and relax. Master bed upstairs was very comfortable. Loved the decor throughout the house, we felt immediately at home. My kids loved exploring all the nooks and crannies of the home. Easy access to the beach. We wished we could stayed longer. Would stay here again!!

The home is as charming if not more so than the pictures. This was one of the best stocked kitchens I've been in regarding dishware/utensils/bowls, etc., which made cooking delightful. The backyard is fenced in so it made life easy with our dog. As written in the notes, beware that there is a lot of light in the master bedroom upstairs; if you're sensitive, bring personal night shades. ):

We had a great experience at Kim's home in Manzanita. My wife commented that it was exceptionally welcoming and had everything one would need. The space itself is incredible and is perfect for sitting by the fire, watching a movie, reading, or playing games at the table. It has everything you need in the kitchen to construct amazing meals and on that note, the kitchen is really great and set up most conveniently. Everything from the towels to the sheets were clean and we felt pampered being in the house. The outdoor spaces are awesome and offers a ton of different places to hang out, read, etc. The master suite is super cool too with its own private deck. The beach is close by and it took us about 20 minutes to walk to town via the surf. We highly recommend Kim's property and will be hopefully staying again in the not too distant future.

This property was one of my favorite vacation rentals ever. It has a well-equipped kitchen, plenty of towels, and little nooks to spread out in. It's just a quick 5 minute walk from the beach and in a sleepy part of town. We loved it! It was also perfect for our little dog. The owners have recently fenced in the backyard, so you don't have to worry about your furry friends. We will definitely return!

My wife and I, along with our dogs, have been coming to Manzanita for almost a decade; this has been our favorite rental we've experienced.
While somewhat unassuming from the road, the interior is spacious and inviting. The main living area is an open floor plan, well-appointed with comfortable seating. There's a large converted gas fireplace that really adds to the coziness. The updated kitchen has a complete selection of plates, glassware, and utensils, along with small appliances.
There are several skylights throughout that allow in plenty of natural light.
The upstairs master has plenty of light with high ceilings and windows. The quality of the bed and mattress is always a point of concern for us. We tend to prefer a slightly firm mattress... sometimes other rentals will be overly soft, verging on "hammock-like" as you sink into them, but these were very comfortable.
It should be noted that there's no shower or tub upstairs next to the master, only a vanity and toilet, but it wasn't an issue to use one of the two showers downstairs.
It's immediately obvious that the owners take a lot of pride in the furnishings: chairs, end tables, lamps, etc. were all well-chosen.
Our dogs enjoyed the eating and drinking bowls as well, and the backyard is fully fenced.
Finally, we loved the holiday decorations the owners put up: a tree with lights and ornaments, a Christmas scene on the mantel and dining table. So beautiful!

We really enjoyed our stay. The house is adorable and the set-up is great. We loved the upstairs room and deck -- and the detached "cabin office" was perfect for a beach office (and the wifi was great)). Everything was very clean and there it was totally stocked with everything! The owner also left a binder with all sorts of information. The area to park the cars in the front is adequate but a bit small (not a criticism, just a comment if you have bigger cars, etc.). There are two bathrooms with just toilets and another with a shower. We didn't use the outside shower because it was cold out, but what a great idea! We hope to stay again someday to get use out of all the fun extras that we didn't get to try this time around.

Beautiful house with great natural light and an easy walk to the beach. Kitchen was well equipped for the cooking we did. We've stayed in many rentals over the years and this was an excellent one. Would definitely return.
Minor things we can suggest for improvement are a newer lockbox, a couple of cabinet handles were missing screws, the dishwasher trays were missing some wheels, and several lightbulbs were burned out.
