About this house rental
Welcome to Crestline Mountain House in Lake Gregory! Private setting encompasses this lovely Alpine property, tucked amongst mature oaks, cedars, and pines. Two large decks wrap the front of this prow style home on two levels providing wonderful outdoor space to dine, relax, enjoy the scampering squirrels, and even a lake view. The open concept kitchen invites the outdoors in with two sets of french doors, easy access for grilling and enjoying the ambiance.
GUEST ACCESS:
Guests have access to the entire home except the basement closet (storage for cleaner).
LOCALS: Locals must communicate with the host prior to booking.
MAXIMUM OCCUPANTS: Only the specific number of guests noted in the booking are allowed on premises, unless approved in writing by host/manager. If Guest exceeds the occupancy noted in the reservation, all guests and/or visitors to the Property will be immediately evicted without refund for unused days remaining. Guest also agrees to pay a charge of $100 per person/ per day for every visitor not identified by Guest in the reservation.
CHILDREN UNDER 3 MUST BE ACCOMPANIED BY AN ADULT AT ALL TIME INSIDE AND OUTSIDE OF THE HOUSE.
AGE: You must be 21 years of age or older at time of booking in order to reserve this Property. Guest confirms that he/she is older than 21.
SHOES: Guests shall remove shoes when inside home.
SMOKING FEE: Guest agrees to pay a $200.00/ per day Smoke Damage Cleaning Fee if any sign or smell of smoke is encountered by host/manager or cleaning crew after guest checks out. This fee will cover costs to remove odors from the home, and lost revenue during cleaning.
PETS: There are to be no pets on the Property - except with prior written authorization of host. Guests who bring a pet or pets without approval will be charged a $300 Pet Fee and will be immediately evicted from the Property without refund for remaining days on reservation.
REPORTING DAMAGE: Guest agrees to keep the Property in same condition throughout their stay. Any damage to furnishings, fixtures, or furniture or other notable conditions found upon arrival will be reported to the Host/Manager within one (1) hour of Occupancy.
DAMAGE: Guest agrees to pay any damage made by guests or their visitors to the Property and Property furnishings, fixtures, or furniture. Guest agrees to pay for any damage made by guests or visitors that exceeds the deposit amount.
ENTERING PREMISES: Host, or Host's Agent may enter the Property at any time, with no prior notice, in the event of an emergency, in order to perform necessary repairs and/or maintenance; and with 24 hours’ notice, for normal maintenance.
LIABILITY: Host shall not be liable to Guest, its guests or invitees or any other person for any injury, loss or damage to any person or property on or about the Property. Guest shall hold Host harmless and indemnify Host from and against all loss, injury or damage occasioned by the use or misuse or abuse of any part of the Property and from or against any omission, neglect, or default of Guests, or invitees.
COMPLAINTS FROM NEIGHBORS: We want all of our guests are to be respectful of neighbors, and shall keep noise to a minimum while in back or front yards. Quiet time is 10 pm to 8 am. Any disturbance triggering a visit by police will require immediate eviction of all guests from Property. No refund will be given for the unused portion of the guests stay.
PARKING: Parking is for 2-3 vehicles (depending on the size of your cars). The parking deck is a tight space so please plan in advance for carpool!!!
Only three vehicles allowed and guest must park in the parking deck due to San Bernardino ordinance. Strict enforcement of this. Neighbors need access to the road, it is a through street, although sometimes the chain is put up. Sheriff Department will tow vehicles at your expense. THERE WILL BE A $1000 FEE CHARGED TO GUEST IF GUEST PARKED ON THE STREET.
LINENS: Please be respectful of bed sheets and towels. Makeup/foundation, face medications/creams, and tanning products will stain and/or bleach linens/towels. Please avoid using regular hand/bath towels with all skin products. Guests are not to wash laundry belonging to the home in order to hide stains. Housekeeping will wash all laundry. Un-salvageable linens/bath towels will be charged to the guest.
TRASH: All trash must be removed from the home at the time of departure and put in the trash bin provided outside the house . If trash is not removed, there will be a $30 fee for trash removal.
TRASH BIN: Due to wild animal searching for food, please make sure the trash bin is close properly and that the latch is pull all the way down.
New A/C & Heating. Try not to set heater above 77 degrees, it will get very hot, especially the two bedrooms on the main floor. Do not have windows or doors open while heater or fireplace is on. This is to not overwork the heater and cause it to break. If you want to use the fireplace, please open the vent before using. The house is surrounded by trees, you can get nice breeze when all windows and doors are open. Opening windows brings in fresh air at night as the temperature drops significantly at night.
The temperature in the morning and afternoon is cooler on the lower level floor than the main floor.
STORM POLICY/ROAD CONDITIONS - No refunds will be given due to inclement weather conditions. Mountain roads can be curvy and steep. We highly recommend four wheel drive and chains during the winter months. The easement does not get plowed in the case of snow. There is a snow shovel in the cabin that can be used if necessary. There are no refunds due to road conditions. We are not responsible for weather changes or power outages due to severe weather.
DISHES: All soiled dishes are placed in the dish washer and cycle started to be cleaned before departure. A $50 extra cleaning charge will incur if dishes are not cleaned.
GRILL: Please clean grill before departure and place cover back on the grill. Place cover back on the patio chairs.
HOT WATER: Hot water temperature can fluctuate when two or more water are running at the same.
NO SHAMPOO & NO BODY WASH SOAP: Please bring your favorite body wash soap and shampoo.
CLEANING SUPPLIES: Broom, mop, vacuum and leaf blower are available if needed; it is located in the laundry room.
DECORATIVE LIGHTS: The lights will turn on every night. The parking and pathways get really dark. However, if you choose to turn it off, you can unplug the cord located next to the outside door on the bottom level.

The home is very clean, kept up to date and family friendly. We stayed for 3 nights and my kids already miss it. Alena, the host, is very informative and super nice! Would love to book this home again.

It was our first time staying at Crestline! and this property was amazing. We loved the cleanliness and detail this property offered. Location is close but not to close to close to town and to Lake Gregory. Only inconvenience was the parking limit we wish we would have known ahead of time. But overall we enjoyed our stay! 😊
