The cottage was unique, and we really enjoyed our stay. The beds were very comfortable. The location was great. Rebal was a great host. The cottage is spread out over 3 floors so there was a small staircase to get bags up two levels. It added to the charm of the cottage but could be an issue for some guests. The little village the cottage is located in was beautiful.

Location of the property is excellent for visiting Bath. There is a very good and regular bus service into Bath (with a stop just yards from the property). There is also a good Cafe for breakfast just down the main street.
Parking is on the main road and can be a bit tricky as there are not many free places. There is a pay car park further down the main street.
The patio area in the property could do with a little TLC

very clean, cosy, good size bedrooms, good size bathroom, quirky interiors. good bedding/comfy beds and nice towels. well equipped kitchen
the staircases are very steep which could be difficult for some people. to eat an evening meal for four indoors requires pulling out the table. parking was not as straight forward as I thought

Lovely quaint cottage very close to centre of Bath.

The house is lovely and well located. It has the longest hallway ever. It's possible to park the car down the street and there's even a bus stop next to the house. The neighborhood is quiet and safe. Rebal the owner has been really nice to us.
Can be tricky for 4 persons to eat in the kitchen at the same time.
Windows are not double-glazed, there's noise from the traffic in the morning

This was a great place to stay to explore Bath with my daughter. Conveniently located right next to a bus stop and a well maintained property.

Great location, bus stop a stones throw away (literally) and short walk to shops, Robbies Plaice chippy/restaurant and pub. Picturesque countryside walk with hill and river views as well as the ‘Secret Garden’. Very comfy beds. Liked that the property had wifi and we could watch stuff on Netflix. Well equipped kitchen. Place heated up very quickly and nice hot shower.
The bathroom on the ground floor down a corridor. This was problematic when we needed the toilet in the night.. particularly myself on the top floor.
Kitchen drawers lacked a masher and grater, we wanted pie and mash for dinner but roast potatoes were a good compromise.
Was a bit noisy in the evening being on a fairly busy road and most rooms at the front of the house. Could hear traffic and people walking past so clearly, was like they were in the house!

The place is clean, cosy and equiped with all necessary things for a family. I love it.. 5 stars from me.

lovely cottage. Patio was beautiful and the distance from the centre was very short

The welcome chocolates and sherry were lovely and the cottage was very clean and tidy. It was useful as a base to go to an event in Bath as it was only a short drive away. TV and wifi are good. It is ok as a somewhere just to sleep and relax after a night out.
Too small for larger people - staircase and hall are very narrow. I'm a rugby player and not fat, but I am well built and I only had an inch leeway in either side on the staircase which made it tricky to navigate. Fireplace (one of the reasons for booking it) was not working and there was an out of order heated towel rail in the bathroom which made it cold in there. Parking is tricky as there is no easy place outside the cottage. Kitchen was not well equipped as we would of expected, so we were unable to cook our normal holiday full English breakfast due to a lack of a grill pan amongst other items.

initially- parking outside property was a worry - but - as it turned out - always managed to find a spot.

one of the best stays I have had located in a peaceful place and very well equipped

Apartment was in the terrace building with typical Gregorian architecture.
There wasn’t a dishwasher and we were missing a bowl, a grater and a whisk.

excellent all round , clean and in a lovely location would definitely stop again

A lovely stay I would highly recommend. Because the cottage is across 3 floors and there’s a long corridor connecting the living room and kitchen it feels much more spacious than photos imply. Stylish, comfortable, exceptionally clean with lovely touches and good quality bedding and furnishing and a large patio garden for a sun filled morning.
