About this house rental

Unit 'A' - the downstairs of this quaint, newly updated and decorated home - contains 1,450 square feet with large bedrooms (both with king beds), a separate living room and dining room that seats six, and a full size kitchen, washer and dryer. There is ample space to spread out and relax - a perfect setting for longer stays, a working vacation or larger groups. The living room and dining room have all new furniture, and most of the rooms showcase paintings from local renowned artist Elizabeth Gray. Both king beds have new bedding. The separate sunroom has a trundle daybed with two twin mattresses that allows a total occupancy of six - perfect for multiple couples and families. Based on availability, jointly booking the upstairs Unit 'B' (VRBO #2883827) and the detached cottage Unit 'C' (VRBO #2863858) can accommodate a total occupancy of twelve people.
Enjoy ocean breezes from the covered front porch while you gaze across the large wooded lot to views of the marsh and North River, with Cumberland Island in the distance.
Bike or walk only six blocks through a quiet neighborhood to the St. Marys waterfront, where you can board the ferry to Cumberland Island, enjoy shopping and restaurants, stroll to historic sites, launch a kayak or put your boat on the water. Rent a golf cart or E-bike to venture across the entirety of the downtown area.
The property is a half-acre lot, so bring your boat and park next to where you stay!! There is a public boat ramp within 3 blocks of the house, and another one at the downtown waterfront. The St. Marys and North Rivers boast excellent year round fishing and boating and provide easy access to the Atlantic Ocean and nearby Fernandina Beach waterfront within 15 minutes.

Me and some friends stayed here for a night before a camping trip to Cumberland Island. The house was in a fantastic location, right near town and the ferry. Checking in was really easy, directions were communicated well to us about getting in the door and what was expected of us as guests. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and we had most of what we needed aside from some toiletries that we ended up purchasing from the nearby convenience store. Some of the dishes in the kitchen were dirty when we arrived (a minor issue), and there was some miscommunication with the host after we left where we were charged for towels that were missing that we did not take. We did sort this out with the host though and charges were dropped after we discussed it with them. Overall a great spot, and it fit exactly what we needed for the evening!

Terrific property, very comfortable and roomy. Excellent condition, impressively clean. Great location, close to downtown and very close to a very good boat ramp which we used 3 days in a row. Good communication with owners. I would highly recommend this property.

The home was clean and lovely. Everything we needed was there. Terrific location. We could walk to all of the cute spots in minutes. Less than a 15 minute slow walk to the docks to board our ferry to Cumberland Island. Quiet spot. We would stay there again.

We enjoyed staying here! It was very clean and welcoming. All the beds were very comfortable! The area is beautiful and so peaceful. The kitchen had everything we need to prepare meals. There were ceilings fans in every room, even on the front porch. We really felt at home! We had the pleasure of meeting the owners during our stay. They were so nice and very accommodating. Fast communication as well!

This property was absolutely gorgeous! Pristine clean, perfect location (short walking distance to downtown, shops and restaurants, and the dock where the ferry to Cumberland island leaves from), and fully equipped to make our stay completely enjoyable. The instructions to check in and out were easy and clear. We have two boys (ages 7 and 10), who need lots of outdoor play, so they enjoyed the front yard very much, as well as our walks around the neighborhood where they spotted beautiful birds. We even got to enjoy the sunrise, just out the door one morning! Our family is certainly coming back and we’ll be recommending this beautiful place to everyone visiting St. Mary’s.

We had a great stay!! This house reminds me of my grandparents home and was so nostalgic. It was newly renovated, and extremely cozy and comfortable. It was nicley clean and provided cleaning products if needed. I so loved all the St. Marys and coastal art that was framed on the walls. It add to the charm of the house. We had a great time!! Would stay again.

This property is so charming. It’s older and has beautiful hardwood floors. It’s decorated with a combination of old and new pieces and some repurposed items. The front porch is great for reading or just sitting and sipping coffee or wine. The location is so close to the ferry to Cumberland and not too far from Fernindina Beach or Amelia Island. Super clean and quiet property. Has a very safe feel as I saw people walking and running in the area.

This was the cutest house to stay. Clean & spacious. The location is perfect. We could see the marsh from the front porch. So much to do in the downtown area with great restaurants. The owners were so accommodating & nice. I wish we could stay longer. We will be back for sure.
