Absolutely amazing, 5 star quality all round, cannot fault it. This was not the 1st time for me to stay and it certainly won't be the last. Central location, close to the shops and amenities. Stunning outstanding food. Great value for money. Thank you so much.
I had to leave!!

Clean and comfortable. Close to a really good pub for food, thankfully.
The Hotel was closed on arrival. We had to phone the owner to send someone to open up. The room was cold & we had to ask for heating to be turned on every afternoon for 3 nights in very cold weather. Including snow. It was amazing. Also we had not been made aware that the dining room would be closed & that was the reason we were staying at that hotel. So quite a disappointment for us.

Beautifully clean and comfortable. Great facilities with everything you would need. Good central location but nice and quiet. Slept really well. Lovely restaurant and bar downstairs with one of the best breakfasts, great value for money.
Car park 5 minutes walk from property. Would be better if hotel had parking but wasn’t a major issue. Staff not around out of season unless the bar is open. The ones we saw were very helpful.

Very good room. Spacious , clean , warm , tastfully equiped . Excellent shower. Fantastic breakfast, nothing too much trouble for the owners. Will definitely book again when in Fishguard.

Comfortable, clean accommodation. They were friendly when we saw them.
Staff not available as busy on a wedding. Did take our luggage up to room.

Friendly staff, very nice room, good choice of teas coffees etc, good quality toiletries in the bathroom and a very comfortable bed. We booked for evening meal which was exceptional, compliments to the chef. I would stay again.
We tried to check in about 1.30ish and was told we couldn't until after 3pm. The pub over the road was recommended to us to go to as it was pouring with rain. When we went back to hotel later to check in (still raining). The door was locked and a telephone number on the door to ring to let us in.... luckily the chefs saw us and let us in and took our bags to the room, they were very friendly. For the price I would expect someone to have been around to have checked us in properly. It's not a complaint, but I feel the attention to detail (such as the fresh flowers in the foyer were dead, the bathroom door got caught on the mat in the bedroom) should have been better for the price.

The hotel is conveniently located in the city center and very near the bus station for local buses. The owners were very welcoming, and the food in the restaurant at night was stellar. Lots of breakfast options as well.
We noticed a few minor issues. The TV in our room wasn't connected and didn't function (but we really didn't care about that). The staff has not left any shower soap although there was plenty of hand soap, shampoo, and conditioner (and the products were very nice). A bit more attention to these small things would make this place the perfect place to stay in the area.

Good was good. A few issues with room
- shower door needed securing and no mirror near socket for hairdryer.
As above.

The staff and owners were the best I've ever met. The owner went above and beyond to make our stay fantastic. We had a train issue, which we would not have been able to resolve if not for the amazing people at this establishment. The room was beautiful, comfortable and very clean, and the shower was top of the line.
Nothing, it was perfect.

Very friendly, helpful.
Nothing to dislike.

All 3 Staff did their best but hampered by absenteeism and lack of training.
Poor furniture in room.
TV aerial socket too dated to be able to use TV.
Hairdryer nowhere near socket and mirror.
Thick rug obstructing bathroom door in and out. Dangerous!
1 sachet of coffee and one partially opened UHT milk in room .
Stained and old and far too small table for coffee station. Bit of a balancing act.

Friendly and helpful owners

Pretty much everything. We were the only people having breakfast there Saturday morning so after we ate, Dan locked up and took us around to show us some of the sites of Fishguard. Fantastic chef and tour guide!

This hotel is a hidden gem. Run so well by a lovely couple, with Dan being an outstanding chef. The food is really something, and personal service also outstanding. Dan recently won the national pub chef of the year.
Nothing whatsoever!

The location is fantastic. Centre of Fishguard
The walls are paper thin so you hear a lot of noise. The worse bit was though that I tried to make a coffee in the provided Nespresso machine but filled up the water container: it had dirt in the bottom that looked like hair. Not sure what it was but I gave up making coffee very quickly.
