Convenient, clean enough, dog friendly. New restaurant is a wonderful addition.
Reno work still in progress, run down in some areas. Only one elevator worked, couldn’t access inside from most of the outside doors, made it difficult to unload my car. Central areas need A/C.

That morning they having difficult with breakfast and the pool flood was a mess.

Convenient. Great restaurant on site. Quick check in.
No windows in the room…
Dodgy electric socket (reported) next to bed.

Het was oud maar wel schoon
Gehorig, heel slecht ontbijt, er lagen een paar witte boterhammen en in het koelvak lag 1 mini yoghurtje.

NOTHING!
Do not stay here! The bar stays

place to leave trailers, a large homeless population lives behind the hotel.

It was secure
There were newly remodeled and older rooms to choose from. I had to pay extra for the newer remodeled room. That was not known to me until my arrival

Rooms were clean, and the price was affordable. Also, the place seemed to be recently updated.
Breakfast was very disappointing, and road noise from I-40 can be heard in the room.

Location to sites we were interested in. Staff is great! Really enjoyed the indoor space.

The room and the bed.
The breakfast can be improved

Staff was accommodating, bit not overly friendly. We asked for another room, since we don’t like to be on the first floor and they were quick to make changes. Much appreciated.
There’s a pool in the middle of the atrium which causes a chlorine smell throughout the hotel. They also have music on until 11PM, which you can hear clearly in your room. The bathroom needs modernizing: the tap above the tub was leaking quite fiercely. The tub looked decades old.

I loved everything about this place. I would recommend this place to everyone.
I didn't dislike anything.

The Bed was very comfortable and room was nicely laid out! Loved there was a sitting room and the prices were amazing.
It will be a lot nicer when all the motel is renovated. The Renovated part of motel is really beautiful.

I stayed in one of the partially renovated rooms. It had upgrades, but it still had carpet and not the wood flooring. The beds were very comfortable and the water pressure in the shower was great. The front staff was very friendly.
It was difficult to find the sign and property. This property is under renovation. The pictures are of renovated rooms and didn’t realize that I had booked a basic one. So it was a little deceptive. Also, they don’t have cable and only Roku. My TV didn’t work with the Roku.

I loved how much space was in the room, the full-size fridge, ALL the amenities I would expect in a hotel room, great scenery right outside my door, safe and convenient location right off the highway, and vegan/vegetarian-friendly breakfast.
I wish my room had windows, that's about it.

Service and suite.
TV would not boot-up for viewing in bedroom of suite. Soap and shower gel need a upgrade. Powder eggs for breakfast a no-no.

The room was clean and spacious. The indoor pool was amazing! And the free freshly cooked breakfast was the perfect touch to start our morning!
I traveled with a young puppy and thankfully I brought puppy pads because being on the second floor, no way I could get her out of the building in time. I would suggest a nice dog run inside the common area 😊

I LOVED everything about this beautiful GEM from the wonderful staff to their beautiful setup..It was one of the BEST experiences I ever had and I wish everyone gets an opportunity to stay here and enjoy this beautiful place and people.

Pleasantly surprised at the quality of the atrium. It was beautiful, clean, and felt comfortable. The room was clean and functional. The breakfast was very nice.
The blinds on the door and adjoining windows did not adequately give us the privacy we expected. We did notice a lot of construction was going on.

Didn't accept my credit card upon check in. Didn't say anything on the website about it. Had to change plans at the very last minute after what was already a long day. Book your room at the fifth seasons! Better price, very accommodating, and the pool was on point.

If you have a credit card that gives you cashback or points on hotel stays, you won't get earn a reward for your stay here. That's because Cactus Cove reports to the credit card company that they're a "real estate agent" instead of a "hotel/motel" (as their self-reported merchant category code (MCC)). I don't know if this is an innocent error on the part of Cactus Cove, or if they have a more sinister reason for being misleading to authorities about what kind of business they're running, or if there's a legitimate reason they tell the credit card company they're a real estate agent, not a hotel/motel.

I liked the authenticity of this place, they had good breakfast and a good nighttime vibe going on with the bar!!
When checking out the lady at the desk wasn’t happy with me having my travel bags waiting at the check in lounge for 30 odd minutes. I hope they rectify their attitude about this as most people can’t be precise about their pickup time. This was at a odd time (2am on a Saturday morning) so I understand that the lady was concerned about my bags but she could have been more interested in my situation so this wouldn’t have been a problem!
Overall a great place to stay with a trendy style for a bnb. Definitely a place to try out in Amarillo as it’s not the usual hotel to book, it’s very welcoming 🙂

Breakfast was good.. Bed was comfortable.
Shower head needs cleaning

Nice big room, comfortable bed, and it was quiet. Breakfast is great best I’ve had at a motel in a long time.
Cheap ass plastic spoons and forks. Great breakfast crappy eating utensils.

Room was very accessible and parking was good
The small beds and no carpet

The only positive is the guest agent Ashley who was very kind and apologetic as the negatives about the hotel are not her fault.
The pictures shown of the rooms on the sites ARE NOT what they look like. The beds are not queen but full size and extremely thin and hard. Everything from the nightstands to the lampshades appear to be 20 years old. The carpet is torn and the blinds that cover the glass doors and windows do not cover and anyone can see in when walking by. We were also informed that there is a $10 fee for checking out at 12??? We are paying $88 + $10 for a one star motel room.

The new bar is Amazing
I saw the remodeled rings online, I.. nor 1 of our other companions got one. A BUNCH of rings are not fully remodeled. Not sure I should pay the same price for an old room as a new one. It was clean, and the mattress was newer. But I couldn't use most of my electrical outlets and that was frustrating. One popped at me and the bothering one wouldn't work at all.

It’s a funky place with modern updates. The staff could not have been more friendly and helpful. I will stay here again.

Great breakfast, comfy bed
Still under construction

Staff was super friendly and the overall vibe of the place is pretty chill. The room was comfy and big. The parking lot is well lit. Also pretty quiet, it was a week day but wasn't disturbed by any noise or such throughout the night. Being pet friendly!!
Could tell I was in a pet friendly room (recommended removing bed skirts or cleaning them) and the room felt like it was rushed to be finished. Poor paint job and other minor details that didn't fit the look you advertised online. Also the shower head was a real turn off... Didn't shower just because of it. Pet relief area???

Location, very pet friendly, quiet restful rooms, good breakfast, common areas well kept.
Room was very sparsely furnished. Room was newly renovated but did not look like it was completely done.
8.0
The location was great. I can't wait to see what it looks like when the renovations are complete.
For breakfast my eggs and potatoes were cold and the attendant asking for tips was not a plus. There also should be more than one cornhole set so when people are hogging the boards more can play.
