Overall, a beautiful, well kept cottage. Had everything we needed. The owner was responsive to my questions. It would have been helpful if the owner advised me that someone would be on the property to cut the grass during my stay. There were also four adults still on the property when I arrived at 4pm looking for a cell phone. Not a huge deal, but communication regarding these two things would have been appreciated.

Short but sweet time with family

We couldn't wait until summer to grab a little RnR from our daily grind. This was the perfect winter getaway for our family. Our hosts , George and Suzi , have the perfect spot along the Burnt River with a very comfortable and well equipped cottage with delightful amenities.
We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves having a midday campfire beside the river , playing backyard games , reading books and playing with our puppy.
We spent our evenings enjoying the warmth of the hot tub and sauna then curling up inside in front of the fireplace while we watched movies and sipped on adult beverages.
We were surrounded by the sights and sounds of nature and it was so relaxing and enjoyable.
We highly recommend !
Thank you again to George and Suzi . You were wonderful hosts !

Lovely spot, nice decorated, very clean. All the kitchen amenities you need

When we arrived the cottage was spotless which we found great. Beds were comfortable and most everything you could want in the kitchen was there. The hot tub was nice. But if you are a swimmer you don't want to go here. The water was about 2 feet off the end of the dock. Which we could of handled but there was more seaweed then I have ever seen at a cottage before which made it impossible to swim. If you are not a swimmer then this is a great place for you to stay at.

We loved our week at this riverfront cottage! We canoed and kayaked almost daily and the hot tub was an amazing way to unwind at the end of the day. The house is on a private cul-de-sac with a handful of other houses nearby - so its nice and quiet but not totally isolated. The road is great for walking the dogs and stretching your legs. The kitchen is very nice and they have all the plates, utensils and small appliances you need! We loved that linens, towels, toilet paper, paper towels, napkins, Kleenex, and beach towels were provided! But if you use face cloths, bring your own as they are not provided. Also - they do have some hangers, but if you like to hang up all your tops, you should bring some more with you. The house is close to Coboconk and Felelon Falls - so there is a lot to see nearby. Thanks again Suzy and George - we had a great time!

Five adult family members stayed here for a week with a dog and a cat. Upon arrival, we were impressed with how clean and well-maintined the property was. George and his team have thought of everything. The cottage had some nice high-end finishes and they layout of the rooms worked well for us. The minor issues we had with the A/C and water were solved quickly thanks to George's quick response. We found the location along the river great, and enjoyed all of the amenities (kayaks, hot tub, sauna, etc.) The neighbours were nice and clearly the area was very dog-friendly which we especially appreciated. We loved our stay here and would happily come back again!

Great spot on the Burnt River. Quiet location, river was calm and as beginners we were able to SUP. Host also provides kayaks and a canoe which we were able to take on excursions down the river. Host was very responsive to our questions and when airconditioner had a malfunction George walked me through a fix immediately. Accomodation is clean, well supplied and has great extras like boats, games, sauna and hot tub. Only drawback was mattress in second room needs replacing as it sinks into the center. Definitely a place we will return to!

Our party consisted of 6 people (4 adults and 2 teenagers). We had a relaxing and comfortable stay. The cottage was very clean. Many small added touches (eg. welcome basket, shampoo/conditioner, hand soap, etc.)
Upgraded appliances in the kitchen and big screen TV for evening movies. Lots of outdoor space to play games. Two kayaks, canoe, life jackets and hot tub were used.
Only negative were the mosquitoes.
Thanks for having us.

First time using any rental app and this completely exceeded my expectations. The property was exactly as advertised and more - perfect inside and out. George & Suzy were so helpful and quick to respond to any questions I had. I would absolutely stay here again - hopefully for more than a long weekend next time!

Thank you George - My friends and I had a lovely time here at the cottage, this weekend. Everything was amazing and as expected. No issues or problems whatsoever. We also cleaned up after ourselves, and left the place a little tidy. Would for sure come back again, if you were kind enough to host. It was a pleasure.
Best,
Matthew

My wife and I (and our dog) had a relaxing stay and made the most of our week at the cottage. The cottage interior has been updated and has excellent appliances, a nice TV, strong internet and barely used kitchenware. The water pressure in the shower was perfect and the air conditioning was more than sufficient to keep us cool in 30 degree weather. The dishwasher and washer and dryer were appreciated and anything we needed was provided.
The back yard by the river is very private. Our dog enjoyed the open space while we would sit outside watching the boats on the river, sometimes with a bon fire (where we cooked hot dogs and s'mores).
We also went kayaking up or down river nearly every day. The river is wide enough for passing boats and calm enough that there was no noticeable current to paddle against in any direction. It's a bit of a trek, but it's definitely possible to paddle to the lake. When going to the lake be aware that you might not know how rough it will be until you get there...and the loons can be a little territorial (at least when there is a chick nearby).
The cottage location is great and it's only a short drive to Fenelon Falls for groceries, meals and other necessities. We also ventured to nearby Bobcaygeon for an outing one day.
We had to reach out to the hosts with a couple of minor questions and they were very responsive and accommodating.
Overall, we had a fantastic time and really enjoyed our stay. I highly recommend this cottage and the hosts.

We enjoyed our week enormously. The property is absolutely lovely and the pictures do not do it justice. Kayaking on the river was absolute tranquility. The house was spotless and George and Suzy had thought of everything. Our weather ranged from unbearably hot to chilly by the end of the week, but the cottage was comfortable at every temperature. We even had an awful storm one night where the power went out but a back up generator automatically kicked in within 60 seconds so we were never really without power. Best endorsement we can give is that we will be back and would not hesitate to recommend it to anyone.
