This is a really nice hotel when visiting LA, the room is a good size, very comfortable, very clean, slept well every night. Small pool and hot tub as well. Parking is free and the free coffee in the morning was a nice touch. Just across from the shops and food.

Spotty WiFi and air conditioning in the gym doesn't work, otherwise a good value stay

I stayed at this hotel from 10/25 - 10/27. The reason for my stay was because the shower in my apartment needed refinishing and we had to be out of there due to the string fumes that would be used.
Some of the furniture in that room was old, dingy, and scratched. The window was filthy on the outside. The door to the closet didn't close all the way. I walked down the hall to get ice only to be greeted by a broken machine. I had to go to another floor to get my ice. The hotel doesn't have any USB ports for charging electronics either. I ended up driving back to my apartment to get a device to charge them.
It's too bad really because I chose this hotel based on a previous stay in May of 2016.

The place smelled bad walking in. The room seem like they don’t fix damaged prior for next guests. There was a lot of damage furniture and scratch corners. That made it seem very bad. Toilet flushes were very weak. Hotel looks nice in pictures but in person it seems run down. Room was only serviced once in a 8 day stay. Only was given two towels for 4 guests. Staff was friendly. Would not stay here again.

Family stays here all the time, love it.

There’s no way to go second floor through main lobby, had to walk outside to get to our room, it wouldn’t be a big deal if parking were close by but we had to park on the back of the building since some events were going on, beds were very comfortable not and location is great there’s a shopping mall across the street

I would like to say the hotel staff was great! Our room on the other hand not so great, as soon as we walked in it smelled like moldy water. The ceiling seemed if there was a water leak all the way in to the bathroom! Did seem though as they were being renovated and we got one that wasn’t done yet! But in general room was nice and fresh! Hoping next time we have a better room because we absolutely loved the property.

Fixtures hanging off, furniture outdated, WiFi is bad, water leaks in all the rooms we have stayed in. Hotel front desk never has cookies, and customer service is terrible. I won’t be staying there again for my business trips. It doesn’t feel like a Hilton.

This hotel is clean and comfortable. Located near shopping and the freeway entrance it’s in a quiet location that provides easy access to the entire Los Angeles area.

The property is well kept and your security guardsman and front desk customer relations are awesome. In the morning, you have my favorite warm chocolate chips cookies and coffee ☕️ brewing. The scenic and restaurant is out of site. Sunday Brunch is amazing! Thank you. I will be back! 😍 👌 😋 🙌 ...

Elevator not working and room was on the 5th floor. And got a handicap room. Slow toilet and water overflow from the shower kept on spilling over. Hot mess to walk in the restroom

Freeway close and convenient for east side stay in Los Angeles. Close to a mall and dining options.

There are 2 sections of this hotel old & new we stood in the old side which had a high price room rate the room had several issues.
1. Door lock sensor did not work no green light to enter; but could enter on the red light
2. No TV remote
3. Bathroom robe hook falling off
4. Bed very old and used
5 Furniture out dated
I Stated this to front desk upon checkout they offered 500 rewards points will see if this is honored

Let me start off by saying that the staff was amazingly nice and helpful. Everybody from the concierge to the bar & restaurant staff to housekeeping was extremely nice and helpful. They are the biggest asset here in addition to the location.
My biggest complaints are about the condition of the property and the procedures. On the whole the hotel is a bit rundown and it shows, e.g., the tiles on the gym floor are all bowed and spongy, the carpeting in the rooms is dingy and needs shampooing if not replacing, the pool area is a breeding ground for mosquitoes, and the bedding has stains. There is also a distinctive musty smell to the building. This was a hotel that felt like a motel. This is sad because it was probably luxurious when it first opened, but the upkeep over the years seems like it was minimal.
Additionally, I found out that room service will not clean your room and only replaces your towels (the clean ones are left on the door handle in a garbage bag) unless you call 24 hours in advance to request cleaning. The place is also so understaffed that getting a hold of the front desk or restaurant requires letting the phone ring 15 times or calling a few times before you reach somebody since they are busy with something else. Lastly, the room I was given was on the far end of the hotel (the building is huge) and it was a 7-minute walk from the front desk. This was odd since the hotel didn’t seem at capacity.
Summary: Staff gets an A; facilities get a C

half of the rooms are too old. Wood furnitures are old and some are broken.
AC are noisy.

The front desk gave me a room at check in with a broken air conditioner. I was told it would take about two hours to get the AC running, this was at 10pm. I was moved to another room with a well known air conditioning issue. The Technician told me no one like the room due to the loud air conditioner. I was then moved to a 3rd room that was satisfactory. That whole process took about an hour and a half.

It was overall a great stay and experience. The only problem was the elevator, it worked fine when we first checked in which was the only time we were able to use it because it wasn’t working. We were on the 5th floor and when we were trying to use it to go down it wouldn’t open at all. We had to use the stairs to go back down and every time we tried to use it, it wouldn’t open/was out of order. I didn’t mind using the stairs to go up and down from our room but it was frustrating having to use them when checking in and out of our room and having to carry all our stuff through the stairs. Other than that it was a great stay and clean room. Also, our bathroom door didn’t lock. We didn’t mind since it was just my partner and I but if it wasn’t it could have been a problem. Great hotel thought!

I believe his name is Francisco…. He took my food order as the gal at the bar was busy. I have to say… the cheeseburger was probably one of the best I’ve ever had! I was very impressed with The Doubletree!

The room I was in was very spacious and open. The AC was excellent. I loved the TV options as well.
