The only thing I didn’t like was them leaving bottled water on the counter then as you grabbed it you saw the tag that charged you $3 if you opened it.

I paid $165 each night and paid for another room for my sister. This was a get together to see cousins we barely know and to see our only surviving aunt (96 years old) Stayed three nights. No housekeeping at all! I was told later that if I wanted my room cleaned and towels exchanged, I would have had to scan a code on the night stand and request it through my cell phone! How would I know that? Front desk never mentioned it. Room service trays with left over food was left in the hallways for over 24 hours! Probably would have been there if I hadn’t complained. Maintenance was terrible! Toilet needed repaired. Flapper valve would not seal. Maintenance personnel attempted a fix and failed. Every time I flushed, I had to remove the tank lid and manually seat the valve so the water would quit running and the tank would fill for the next flush. The breakfast buffet was at best a good attempt at a complimentary buffet at a lesser hotels. They charged $26 dollars! Other than a wonderful staff in the restaurant, I went across the street to another hotel and had breakfast there for the next two mornings. Elevator problems in an 8 story facility. On a good day, one of the two elevators was functional. They actually had a sign explaining that they knew they had a problem and directed us to the stairs. Are you kidding me! I will never stay in another Hilton property especially at that price.

When we arrived they put us in a King room when we had booked a double room. We had to go back to the front desk and after 20 minutes, we were brought to another room and that room was not cleaned, the bedding was not changed and pillows were sitting on the chairs and the bathroom had been uncleaned with a wet towel on the floor. Then the 3rd room was finally what we had paid for. Very inconvenient for a family of 4 to experience after a full day of traveling.

Room 613 first night Heard some dog barked all night. Not able to sleep well.

The staff was very helpful. The rooms were larger than average. The 2nd room was in much better shape. The first king room was very musty smelling, and many of the USB and outlets didn't work and was pretty worn in places.. They had to change us to another room cause no way to get that very musty smell out. They only had two double bed room available and it was across the elevator so was a bit noisy, but way better than that other room. The main elevator had noticeable debris in the corners, stayed there for the 4 nights and it never got cleaned. Looks like it had been there for some time. Plenty of free parking. We only had breakfast at the restaurant but it was reasonably priced and pretty good value for these days.

Walls are thin. No cleaning service.

The room was not bad, but staffs are not good. We had told them twice we needed new towels, and they said yes, but they didn't anything. I was very disappointed this situation. We believed in the brand name of Hilton Hotel. I felt that they continued to ignore our demands. It was very unpleasant experience.

Convenient, restaurant was good

Dated, no air conditioning, unfriendly staff, leaks in building, complete outdated pool, the sauna looked and smelled moldy.

The bathroom door made a cracking noise every time you tried to open or close it.

Coffee table/stuff is just in front or next to the bathroom.

You knew your were in a Hilton and your room was clean. That’s about the only plus about this stay. Mobile key hardly worked, the pool was smelly and not in the best condition. $22 for a breakfast bar you could get free at Holiday. This hotel has aged and could use a much needed refresh. Northbrook is about an hour from downtown and there isn’t much in the neighborhood to do. Walked in to check in and everyone has mean mugs on their faces. Everytime I needed help at the front desk the black female just sat and stared. A hello would be nice.

This is a pet friendly hotel. We did not have a pet but the folks next door did. Listening to a yappy dog in the middle of the night was not fun or restful.

The hotel is a was good but could have been great . The restaurant was excellent. They forgot to clean our room and the elevator was an issue . They had only one elevator working and that wasn’t working smoothly. Bed very comfortable. Staff at front very good.
