Seemed like there are major housekeeping issues at this property. We had to wait in the lobby for over and hour for a clean room, and when we got to the room the body wash and conditioner bottles were completely empty. Also the lotion was previously used and was half empty. Also, the AC was incredibly loud and the toilet splashed water outside the bowl whenever it was flushed. There was an event going on at the hotel and loud music could be heard clearly up in our room until almost 11pm.

I loved that they were able to secure a microwave for my room I really didn’t want to waste the food I had, but the ice maker was down my entire stay. There was a sign that read “sorry ice maker has an issue that needs to be fixed. People need ice . It’s clear there was no effort to fix it the entire weekend.

Overall the hotel is beautiful great art work etc. The only issue we had was the bedcover didn’t completely cover mattress on one side therefore we seen the brown stain on side of mattress

Hotel is nice and staff was great, but there’s just a bunch of small things that added up to just 3*… ice machine on floor is crazy loud - can’t imagine if my room was close to it… A/C unit in room was really loud… handle/bar for shower was loose… etc

We stayed here last year and it seems like the property needs to be renovated as well as the rooms/bathrooms. Not sure if we were on an older side or not but the carpet is worn, dated and dirty. We took advantage of the breakfast buffet which was pretty decent. However, the service was poor.

The bathrooms have a sliding door with a gap between the walls so if you’re not personally interested in having others live in that existence with you, this isn’t it. So much air flow, I was surprised the paint was peeling in the shower. Even the bathrooms in the lobby had questionable design choices. The free Book of Mormon and bible provided a nice re-up on rolling papers though. Since neither is worth reading.

Everything was perfectly adequate, and many parts of the facility where above average, thus the 4 stars instead of 3. Everything worked. Nothing was gross. The bed was very comfortable with plenty of pillows. There were sufficient in-room supplies for coffee, clothes hanging and ironing, and modern TV watching. The doors on the closet were classy. There was no bathtub, but the shower was good. The halls and elevators where well used but not yet in need of replacement. The lobby was noisy, with two wedding parties, but the 7th floor was quiet, except for when the partiers passed by on their way to bed.

The restaurant hostess and servers were friendly, courteous, and helpful. Food was good. The room design lacked a few things: no towel racks, odd lighting, a floor-length mirror facing sideways that was hard to access, and frosted glass door to bathrm, directly facing toilet -- not very private!

Staff was very pleasant and helpful (even though it appeared they were extremely busy with several events hosted at the hotel). Room was super comfortable. The battery in our tv remote may have been dying, but as we were only guests for one night, we did not ask for this to be fixed. We were able to use it. I presume the staff will take care of this.

Check in took 10 minutes even though I booked online and paid. Tv and internet didn't work all night. Shower wall had soap stains and god knows what else on it. Not clean. $210 for one night for a crappy stay. I wish I could get my money back.

Room was extremely dirty. We were told housekeeping would clean our room while we stepped out and when we came back it hadn’t been cleaned - there was a price of salami on the floor. They switched our room the next day and offered us breakfast/coffee to make up for it. The room they switched us to had bed bugs. DO NOT STAY HERE. Save yourself the hassle and stay somewhere else.

I used to love this hotel. It's the perfect spot when going to a concert at Ravinia b/c they have a free shuttle. This time we were there during a storm and our room was on the top floor. Just as we were falling asleep we started hearing a drip drip sound. We turned on the lights to find a big leak in the ceiling! We called down to the front desk and they gave us a quick apology and a new room. (The people next to us came out of their room too with the same problem). We were hoping for some sort of discount but all they gave us was a pass for free breakfast. I was hoping this would at least be a nice breakfast at their restaurant, but it was just a crappy continental breakfast that most other hotels usually offer for free. We were disappointed. They also need to fix the musty smell when you walk into the lobby. It doesn't make a good first impression.

The bathroom doors were not appropriate for a stay with other people at all because the door would not slide all the way closed and could not be locked. The phone did not work so we could not call for room service, but once we went down and asked, they were very willing and eager to help which was great

The hotel has been updated but still has old popcorn ceilings. Very small shower. Didn’t seem very clean when we arrived. Could hear a loud party on our floor till late our first night. Never had maid services during our three night stay. Supposed to have access to HBO, Netflix, ect on the tv but the connection was so poor it never worked.
