Wish I could’ve spent more time in this hotel. Really was just a place to sleep after a fun night with friends, but this hotel was so historic, beautiful and fun. I might book another staycation here just to get more out of it. Didn’t get to try the bar downstairs but it sounded incredibly fun and I definitely had fomo. Love the autographs of celebrities on the walls, it was my favorite part.

Super cool hollywood retro vibe, clean, large room, comfy queen beds, huge shower, small fridge, will definitely come back

One-night stay with my two besties for an old-lady slumber party -- one of them had major oral surgery and needed someone to stay with them overnight after the anesthesia, so we decided to make it fun.
Clean and spacious rooms, super comfortable beds, the staff was very relaxed and friendly, and breakfast the next morning at the Clark Street Diner was just what we all needed. Loved the old-Hollywood decor. Would stay again.

My daughter and I stayed on the third (topmost) floor for 4 nights. Location is good with proximity to Hollywood and Sunset Blvds and the diner next door. However, on the last night of our stay, a Friday night, we had someone rattling and pounding on our door incessantly at 4 am!
The door did not have a security slide chain and does not fully seal tight with the frame. Aside from the door peephole, there was no other security mechanism. Turned out to be a lady wanting to use our bathroom! Likely drunk to know where she was.
Needless to say I didn’t let her in but couldn’t fall asleep after that with noises from nearby loading bays and the freeway close by - none of which I’d heard the nights before. The lack of night security kept me awake!
The fact that anyone from the street could walk past the main doors and take the elevators to come to any of the rooms, and that the rooms didn’t have any security didn’t leave us with a good feeling. Had this not occurred, our stay would have been good.

The hotel is located at a very noisy location. Not recommend if you are noise sensitive.

The host at the reception was extremely rude his name is Leo he call me a liar and was trying to teach me about my own culture saying that in Switzerland parking was always payed with credit cards (not true,it’s the customer choice on how to pay!) hotel was really nice located and clean.

Solo trip to Hollywood that was close to Sunset Sound Studios and also had a wonderful diner on the first floor.

Service was excellent, like when I left my passport in my room by accident after I checked out!
Also got a great view of the hollywood sign and the surrounding areas. Definitely recommend.
The hotel is also 90-00s movie themed, definitely check out the stairs.

This is a phenomenal option if visiting Hollywood. 10 min walk to Hollywood boulevard and 10 mind drive to Griffith Observatory. Beaches are 45 mins. Staff were all amazing and wonderful lady at front desk accommodated special request when my sister joined for the night in separate room. Very clean and well maintained with good hot water supply, great large screen TV with wide selection and internet was very good.

Super cute old Hollywood aesthetic. Delightful diner in the building. Clean and comfortable.

One of the best hotels to stay at in Hollywood! The rooms are top notch in every way! From clean bathrooms with hot water to comfortable beds with a working ac /heater. Front desk and valet service are friendly and the hotel has an attached diner(excellent) and bar! Walking distance to all the Hollywood experiences.

I'll start by saying I don't normally write reviews, but I thought the information here was important for prospective travelers to know.
Pros: Easy to find. Restaurant on site. Large rooms. Interesting decor. Quick check in and car delivery in AM.
Cons: Surprise $35 parking fee (after reading here self parking was free*). Asked for a quiet, courtyard facing room and was given room facing freeway (quite noisy). Broken elevator on morning of checkout.
With many other options in the area I'd opt to stay somewhere else. After the surprise parking fee we skipped having a drink in the on-site bar and breakfast at the restaurant that we were intending.
If you click on the "i" for information link where it says "parking available" it says "guests like that parking was free, easy to find and convenient." This should be updated to show that parking is not free. I parked my own car and wasn't expecting to pay $35.
Finally, apparently there was some sort of vip access we were supposed to get due to our status in the booking website. There was no mention of this at the hotel. I wasn't expecting much but I did message when making the reservation with the quiet room request and this was not honored upon checking in.

Stayed four nights and they didn’t clean the room once.

We only stayed for one night, the room was clean and felt nice, however the surrounding area was definitely off-putting and I would find a slightly safer area of los angeles to stay next time.

Went to concert at Hollywood Bowl. Rate was great ($164) booked six months out. Hotel was clean, comfortable and a pleasure to visit. Front desk staff were excellent. Bathroom was so clean I could not even tell that there was a glass shower door/wall. Only complaint was the mattress - woke up with sore back. I would definitely return to this hotel.

A great place to stay, super comfortable. We went to the Greek Theater, it was a long but pleasant and safe walk back from the venue. It was an easy on and off from the 101, and the valet park was a breeze. We felt very well taken care of and the room was cozy and cool.

Pretty noisy location. You can hear the freeway. Great bed, very comfortable. I was disappointed to only have decaf coffee in the room.

Room was on the 2nd floor above the bar and overlooking at the valet area of the parking lot. Noise level was high on my room from the bar. When patrons left, 1-2am, the noise moved to the valet area. Could not sleep and rest. I had to get up early the next day to go to work, it was a business trip. Next day was miserable being at work tired from poor sleep.
Hotel is cool, etc. but need to offer comfort

Stayed in the fabulous Star Wars room with a view of the Hollywood sign. Loved all the fun and thoughtful details, vintage aesthetic, big comfy bed, clean and soft sheets, perfect location and exceptional staff. First time visiting Hollywood and would absolutely choose this hotel again when we come back.

Normally, a Valet Parking only hotel charges much more. This fee was $10 less than then next hotel we stayed at near LAX/SoFi. Walkable to the Pantages and Hollywood Blvd.

There were ants throughout the bathroom. Otherwise, it was nice.

Old property. Fun Hollywood deco. Beds felt clean and comfortable. I don’t like dirty carpet in hotel rooms. Very convenient for us as far as location. We stayed 6 nights.

Loved the retro vibe of the hotel, the staff was super friendly. Our rooms faced the pool and the foot/handprint are about .8 mile from the hotel, we walked. The pool was super clean as well as the rooms we would definitely stay again. Beds were comfortable the A/C was cold. The cafe downstairs was good with locally sourced food.

Great choice of hotel. In walking distance of restaurants, safe neighborhood.
Friendly and informative check in staff.
Elevator to upper rooms, beautiful pool in the centre.
The hotel diner was open on our second night and Lily's Bar on the premises was convenient if a little pricey.

I appreciated the hotel a lot: it was beautiful, it has a great location, it was walkable to the Hollywood Walk of Fame, and it had a breakfast place attached. The only thing I didn't appreciate was how noisy the room was. I was in 119 and the windows were so old that all of the outside noise (including the freeways and the helicopters) would come in at night. It was hard to sleep at night.
Bring earplugs!

We stayed here because we went to a concert at The Greek. Perfect location for The Greek, Pantages, and Hollywood type things! We enjoyed our stay at this unique hotel. Cool bar and diner experience right on site. Room was Hollywood style decor, clean, and, comfortable.

We always stay here when visiting our kids who live near by. Always a pleasure!

Loved the Adler with its unique tasteful furnishings, and super interesting Hollywood photos and memorabilia in common spaces. Functional rather than friendly welcome but the parking guy was great. Plenty of room space, shelves and storage, comfy beds and a massive bathroom with power shower. Had flown in the day before so slept well and the Clark St Diner on lower ground was welcoming, exactly what was needed for a classic US brekkie and had delicious offerings. The cappus were crafted perfectly. Hotel a close walk to the key Hollywood sites you’ll want to see. My advice, get up early, Clark St Diner and walk to the Boulevard around 8-9am before the crowds and heat arrives!
