Great stay. Excellent staff. My new favorite hotel in the area. The gym and elevators are down due to water damage from the hurricane. I was placed in the 7th floor. They did offer to bring luggage up for us. Lobby bartender is hilarious. Great atmosphere. Wife wants to come back. We’ll see. I like to adventure new places.

Aside from repairs still ongoing from hurricanes, i did like the ambiance and feel of the hotel. We didnt get to utilize the pool or bars...1 drink each from the pool bar. Was very nice place to stay. Could have used the AC right next to my bed but i slept very good for 2 nights.😉

We had a scheduled arrival on 10/19/24 at Hotel Alba Tapesty by Hilton in Tampa. Our reservation was unexpectedly canceled without prior notice. We had planned our trip months in advance to attend a football game. Upon arrival, we were informed by the hotel staff that they were unable to check us in. Notably, they had not contacted us prior to the trip and only informed us of the cancellation upon our request for the airport shuttle. This resulted in a five-hour delay at the Airport.
Upon reaching out to Hilton, we discovered that they were unable to accommodate our request for alternative accommodations, except for one of their hotels that was significantly more expensive. Both Hilton and Hotels.com insisted that we were responsible for the difference in cost. The Hilton blamed Hotels.com, while Hotels.com blamed Hilton, neither party attempting to find a mutually agreeable solution. Given that most hotels were already fully booked, the hotel advised us that we were welcome to stay in the lobby but offered no further assistance. Consequently, we opted to stay at the Marriott hotel, which was approximately half an hour away and charged us nearly $400 more for the room alone. Instead of being conveniently located three minutes from the stadium, we were forced to take an Uber ride that cost $90 and spent a total of 1.5 hours traveling to the game. In total, we incurred over an additional $200 in transportation expenses, including the additional cost of the Marriott hotel room.

I’ve never left a review for a hotel before but I left this hotel with a bad taste in my mouth. I was supposed to go on a cruise as my bachelorette party, but because of hurricane Helene it was cancelled. Once we got the cancellation info, we were scrambling for a place to stay and found this one. The room itself was nice- spacious, cute, well-configured. We had 6 girls staying for 2 nights. A couple of them had to leave early so I called at 9am requesting to cancel the second night for one room, but the general manager would not refund the night, even though hotels in the area were selling out as people who lost their homes were looking for places to stay. They also did not service the room (make beds, change towels) which is ridiculous considering the rate they charged. One room had the do not disturb sign on so I don’t fault them for that one, but the other one did not. They’re undergoing renovations, so they have brown bag grab-and-go breakfast which is fine. The breakfast sandwich was terrible, but the apple was good. The coffee in the lobby in the mornings was fresh and hot. They have free shuttles to the hard rock casino which is nice. In short, the property is nice but don’t expect the general manager to work with you if things don’t go as planned — even in a crisis.

Upon arrival, the entrance of the hotel was absolutely stunning, with sleek, automatic doors that added a modern touch. However, I was surprised to find out there was a $15.00 daily parking fee per vehicle, which wasn’t mentioned beforehand.
The rooms were clean and well-kept, but our refrigerator wasn’t working properly. After calling the front desk, a staff member came to check but informed us that the fridge only gets slightly cool, which was disappointing.
As for the food, it was delicious, though on the pricey side. Unfortunately, the restaurant seemed understaffed, with not enough servers to accommodate the number of guests.
Despite these minor inconveniences, the overall experience at the hotel was pleasant and enjoyable.

Line to check in was a little long . Room was clean , bathroom looked cleaned ,bathroom had a broken picture in it . I did make front desk aware after checking in . So hopefully I won’t have to dispute any charges . Wasn’t happy about paying 15$ day just to park ! We were there for a few days so I definitely would’ve looked other hotels had I known that in advance. I say 3/5 stars . For the friendly staff and clean room .

Stayed here before a cruise. The hotel is lovely, clean and comfortable. The lady who checked us in was just so lovely, as where all the staff. The room was big and very comfortable. The breakfast was a proper meal and not just a snack, it was lovely. The pool is small but absolutely lovely to hang out by. There is a shuttle service that will bring you within 3km of the hotel so ideal for the airport. The cruise terminal is too far so we got a lyft which was about 15 dollars. All around a great stay.

Being a 4 star hotel I expected a more modern hotel interior. The hallways are dark with very low ceilings and the rooms are dark with icky popcorn ceilings. The bathroom also has very low ceilings and I felt closed in and not enough ventilation in the bathroom. Day 2 I saw a huge roach in my room and asked to be changed to another room. After being switched to another room I could not rest feeling like this hotel was roach infested. The towels were all stained and did not feel clean enough for me to use. The soap had hair in it. I was throughly dissatisfied with my stay. I chose this being a 4 star hotel but could have stayed at a 3 star and been happier. Would not recommend.

The staff (Alyssa and Kiara (front desk), Will and Miguel (bartender and restaurant), and Quincy (shuttle driver) all were amazing and went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect!
The hotel was super clean, beds and pillows were comfortable and we were even lucky to witness some hotel entertainment at the pool area!
Everything from the huge automatic doors that greet you, to the hotel lobby and beyond far exceeded our expectations!
Will definitely stay here again when in the Tampa area!

Comfortable hotel. A bit of road noise will. Occur if you’re facing the pool side, especially in the 3 floors of suites. I was on the 3rd floor in a 1br suite, and could hear trucks or noisy cars going by.
Overall a good stay though. The pool was excellent, and the food was good too

From the moment we walked in to the lobby of the hotel we were impressed. But the most amazing part happened when we encountered Jesalyn at the check in desk, she was absolutely amazing. She found out my wife and I were celebrating our 33 year anniversary and she treated us as if we were VIP guest. Jesalyn is what everyone in the service industry should strive to be. She is a true superstar.

Loved this place! Took my husband on a quick birthday trip and am so glad I booked hotel Alba! Only 6 minutes from the airport and no more than 30 minutes to do all the order things I had planned! The hotel needs improvements outside but it’s nice when you walk in. There was a smell like sewage even though everything was very clean.
The room was comfortable with the exception of the noise in the hallways that made it hard for me to sleep.

Hotel Alba was Awesome! They were so friendly and accommodating. There shuttle was very helpful and convenient. They were attentive to our needs and just an overall great hotel experience. 5 star for sure.

Overall the hotel is spacious and the staff friendly. My only complaint is the foul smell from the bathroom water sink. I had to use bottle water to brush my teeth. Our stay was decent and I would recommend. Hopefully there can be4 a fix for the water.
