No clock in room, the safe didn’t work. Had to request both clock and coffee maker (they brought up a coffee maker, and then pointed out there was one in the cabinet) Jacuzzi not hot.
Other than that, nice staff and comfy bed.

My stay was comfortable. The staff is friendly. The beds are very comfortable. My first room was difficult to keep warm, there was a leak in hallway and the maintenance didn’t seem to get it under control.
I asked to change to a warmer room and the new room was wonderful and warm. I always enjoy my stay there.

Small but well equipped fitness center; beautifully landscaped pool area with pool, wading pool, hot tub and bar. Rooms were large and comfortable; comfortable beds. Good location with fun restaurants about a 5 minute drive but not much in walking distance. Too bad it's a $25 per night charge for parking a car.

Great hotel location with friendly staff. Close to everything around Del Mar area. Only issue during the stay was the elevator broke down in the evening hours, and had to walk up 5 stories to the room.

Family of 4 stayed in room 108. Mold in shower, loose hair on the floor. Worst part was every time the fan would kick on it woke our family up throughout the night.
Pool was fun for the kids. Hot tub looked dirty.

The bed was very comfortable, and the breakfast excellent, but the room smelled a bit weird and had a damp patch of carpet. I tried not to think about that much.

The staff were attentive and helpful. Paid parking is easy and faces the entrance. Complimentary breakfast was a broad selection of options from fruits and juices to waffles. Hotel is next to I-5 which makes driving easy. Unfortunately San Diego requires renting a car to get around outside downtown.

The room we reserved was not available. They charged us a upgrade fee. There were ants in the room. The air conditioner leaked water and made the carpet wet aling with some of our things. The manager and staff did not seem to care about getting us a room, they could care less if we stayed.

The hotel property is very nice and easy to get to from the road. The room was clean and well appointed. However, all the hot tubs were roped off with health dept signs. One elevator was being overhauled and the other was quite slow causing bottlenecks for people trying to get to their rooms.
It appears when we contacted hotels.com to adjust our reservation because of flight delays they did not do it properly. Our reservation was cancelled entirely, and we had to rent a room at a higher rate. It was very frustrating.

The light fixture inside the bathroom room 316 was disgusting. Rusty and dirty. The door to open the bathroom was terrible heavy and difficult to push. Some staff were not friendly, broken elevator, very limited food options. Other guests complained about their wallets, money and credit card being stolen

It was a bit inconvenient to come and have only 1 operating elevator. The parking was $25, not $22 in which the email message said, which turned out fine as the hotel did honor the $22, but I could definitely feel the sass after leaving. My companion even saw her give a snared looked. Customer is always right, especially when the proof is in my hand and was sent to me twice. Too expensive though. Your not that luxurious of a hotel to be charging so much for parking, rooms in general. One of the rooms door was stupid hard to open in 243 and wouldn't shut by itself. Overall it was a good stay, the updates were nice. Just saying the elevator that was actually working didn't sound too great.

Our stay was less than pleasant. I think everything that could go wrong went wrong: 1) Only 1 elevator working. Long lines, congested elevator, and stopping on every floor up and down. 2) broken jacuzzi because of improper water chemical levels. 3) broken A/C in the room. Engineering could not fix it and there were no other rooms to be moved into. 4) Loud neighbors bc of thin walls. We had to call the front desk numerous times. We left our stay one day early. We could not take it anymore.

If you don’t look closely it’s not bad. But getting close to things in the room was horrific. The couch had rips in it where you could see the stuffing. The shower leaked even when fully shut off. The toilet ran, there was mold around the faucets in the shower, and a big suspicious stain in the corner I can only assume is from a pet mishap.
Also their elevator system was ridiculous. One elevator has been out for months, and the other is barely functioning.

One elevator , other one was broken. Took minimum 5 minutes each time to wait for it and by that time there was usually a crowd waiting for it. Shower does not work properly, can’t shut off bath spout while shower head is running. I’m aware of how it works it was faulty. The room door did not shut all the way due to it being off hinge slightly. And a hideaway door for the bathroom when it was almost impossible to shut , with no lock. I don’t ever write reviews but this was pretty bad.

I was disappointed with this hotel for a number of reasons. First, and check in, I had to wait for about 15 minutes while the check-in clerk checked a proceeding party in. There was another check-in clerk in the back room who made no effort to accommodate both myself and one other party behind me.
Second, the walls are paper thin. The family in the room next to me had two young children and boy, did I know it!
Third, parking was charged at $25 per night when it should’ve been free especially to Hilton honors members. What’s the point of membership!
Fourth, Wi-Fi was horrible and did not work.

Me and my wife came to bring my autistic son for his birthday. Our stay is from July 28-30. The customer service has been bad since checking in. I was in line to check in when 2 random guests just cut in front of me and were helped by the front desk worker, I let him know and he still took them. That was check in on the 28th. On my son’s actual birthday we were in and out of the hotel. We take him for breakfast the elevator is broken, so we have to take the stairs, we’re told by the manager that someone is on their way to fix it immediately. 2 hours later we take him to the beach and when we come back conveniently enough the elevator is still down and have to take the stairs again. I ask the manager again if they’re going to have this fixed and she tells me the same thing. we go back to the room and come down for dinner a couple of hours later and guess what? The elevator is still down. Mind you I pay extra for a pool view and they put me on the 4th floor, I say this because my son who were supposed to be celebrating has sensory issues and bad balance so he’s not a fan of stairs and loud noises. Which brings me to my next issue, this morning on the 30th were woken up to a loud fire alarm at 8 AM, so what do we do, we take the stairs down only to find out the person working on the elevator pulled something electrical which made the alarm go off. I’m going to be honest, I love San Diego, even Del Mar as a city is beautiful but I would never stay at this location again.

The water smelled like sulfur so I felt like I smelled like a fart the entire 3 days I was here. Also we were on the 5th floor and since there was only one working elevator, we chose to use the stairs. My glutes and ankles are still recovering. The pool was nice, besides the green water in the hot tub.

Rooms were clean and nice sized, just had issues with the room keys and some of the amenities inside the rooms. At the time we stayed one of their elevators was down so that made the wait times double. Other than those items hotel lobby is nice, staff was polite.
