Only one person for check-in, while about ten persons were waiting. It took us half and hour to get our two rooms, after the person in charge sternly said that we only booked one room. She finally understood she was wrong but did not apologize at all. The check-out was barely better than the check-in, with again only one person available. The parking was convenient, but it did not provide receipt (no ink) and here again the person in charge did not help, at all.

The rooms were comfortable and clean. The night I stayed the restaurant offered only a buffet for 35 euro a person. Way too expensive. Not worth it. Breakfast also 25 euro a person. I did not have breakfast based on the experience of the night before.

The receptionist was very rude. The front desk have a complementary Cookies for the guess my colleague who is diabetic that need a cookie for a regular his sugar we asking her she estated that they can not provide more cookie because the Hotel is fully book they need for others guess and she refused to gave him a cookie. it happened at 1:40pm 08/24/2024.

Shower head bracket was missing and was just left hanging on the shower pole. Obviously someone knew and just couldn't be bothered to fix it. Took two calls and a day to get it fixed. Location is well out of town (7km) so it's not that convenient unless you drive. The elevator is also the slowest in the world meaning you sometimes need to wait for several to pass by as they will always be full of irritated customers.

Couldnt rate this hotel more highly, Ive always liked double tree Hilton. Its an older building but well run and very clean. Nice swimming pool, breakfast was excellent and lovely patio area to eat. Staff very helpful. Have refreshments and papers in the lobby area. Rooms are big and mkne had a bath, which I took full advantage of.10 out of 10 for me. Thankyou Hilton

I have never written a bad review in my life, but our stay here was so disappointing. The people in the lobby and front desk were lovely, but once we got up to our floor, things were not good. The hallway smelled of urine (we have stayed in pet-friendly hotels before and never had this problem), we could hear everything in the rooms next to us, and our room was extremely outdated. Room service was prompt, the breakfast buffet was good, but if you had dinner in the hotel restaurant, the service was insanely slow. The hotel itself is in a good location, but there are other hotels right next to it. We will be staying at one of those the next time we visit Luxembourg.

Average stay. We were there for one night only and as it was the olympics we wanted to watch on the TV, however very few channels had a signal and when I asked reception for help they said they’d get a technician to look into it and get back to me, however we heard nothing back.

This hotel worked out well for a 3 night stay for first time visitors to Luxembourg. It’s a standard Hilton. The room was spacious and clean, the air conditioning was the quietest of any hotel I’ve stayed in, and operated perfectly, and the beds were v comfortable. The bus stop mere steps down the road was ideal for the 10-15 minute drive to downtown—all buses are free in Lux. 4 stars for the faulty shower head, which wasn’t fixed, and the pricy buffet meals, but Lux isn’t cheap and they ended up being good value. And the warm cookie on arrival and helpfulness of desk staff earn a 5. Overall recommended.

The cleanliness and conditions of the property throughout is excellent. Staff is respectful and helpful (could be a little friendlier). Checking in and out was quick and easy. Buffet breakfast is pretty good, the only thing I didn't like was that on the weekend breakfast was so busy that was chaotic, there were so many people.

Overall very good, downside was the wait time for the lifts, this hotel has 19 floors and when it was built in the mid eighties the 3 lifts would have been efficient but not any more as sometimes the wait time is 10 minutes and when they arrived they were nearly always full up. The breakfast room is manic and the area where you pick the food up is chaotic just not big enough for hundreds of people. The rooms are lovely and big and well decorated, towels and linen were excellent, being disabled we could park outside the hotel which was helpful as I wouldn't want to pay the 25 euros for 24 hours for parking, but we noticed that during our stay the barriers were permanently raised.

Large, American style hotel. The people checking us in were friendly, but the lobby was very crowded with a couple of sports teams using the hotel. The elevators were a problem. Several got stuck and sometimes the doors wouldn't open. This caused huge groups to form waiting for the elevator. When we checked out, we carried our bags down 11 floors and we were not the only ones to do so. This stay was part of a long trip across Europe. This was the only branded hotel we stayed in and it was our most disappointing. It was not terrible, but the elevator was enough of an issue as to leave a bad taste in our mouths.

The booking was for a Superior Twin room. When we got to the room, there just a double bed. I went to reception and explained that the room was not what we paid for. We were issued another room which was indeed a twin room but just a .basic room. Back to reception, 'hotel fully booked' came the answer along with an apology and another room issued. This was a deluxe twin - again, not what we booked and paid for . This took the edge off of a celebration weekend that had been booked and paid for some time ago
