Booking 5 months in advance, and arriving late in the evening to check in, I was disappointed to hear that our corner king room was the last one left and that it would be a handicap accessible room. I asked for a different room and after some searching we were upgraded to an executive king suite which was not only amazing but a pleasant surprise for our 5 night stay. Highly recommend this hotel with its professional staff, excellent service, and breath-taking views.

Perfect location if you want to enjoy the panoramic view at the center mountain hill in Seoul. But not good access to the metro.

It was quite clean and the service was excellent. I felt the room temperature was a bit cold but other than that it was excellent.
They were willing to accommodate our needs as guests and the service was excellent.

If you book the room on the river side you will have the "wow-effect" you are looking for. Even from the Lobby the view is stunning. The personal do everything for you, nothing to complain about. Of course in such an hotel where the demand is high with so many rooms it could be crowded and sometimes unpleasant during the breakfast time and at the pool, but this is how it is, they do there best to satisfy the client and this is also why people are going there. The Room-Service was very efficient and pleasant, the pool service and the Concierge too. Great job to all the staff.

Be prepared to walk a significant distance up-hill, daily. Very limited transport links. No shops within close distance. You are on a mountain with a beautiful park.

Bathroom was not clean and pool was not cleaned at all and limited time to use it.

The property is located across from Namsan Park, which is very beautiful, and just a short 10 to 15 minute walk to Itaewon, which has a youthful and vibrant atmosphere. Staff were very attentive, especially Benjamin who helped us arrange travel to the airport on our day of departure. We had a great experience.

Good hotel

Our experience at this hotel was mixed. We arrived at the hotel at 6am very tired due to a flight, unfortunately, the front desk staff, especially Riley, had a very poor attitude, no service mind, and a dismissive attitude. She refused all our requests, and another female front desk staff also misrepresented our statement to the manager, lying that we said the extra night fee was too expensive for an early check-in. This miscommunication and lack of courtesy made us very unhappy and resulted in us staying in the hotel to recover instead of enjoying our time outside.
On a positive note, our dining experience at the hotel buffet restaurant on all three days was excellent. The staff there, especially Tommy Lee, provided exceptional service and took great care of us. His attentiveness and professionalism greatly improved our overall impression of the hotel.

Just PERFECT! What a hotel... gosh! Luxury, comfort, amazing restaurants, pools, etc. Even a kids club! I would repeat!
Just take into account that you will most probably need taxi to get around from that location, as it is on the top of a hill. It is part of the beauty though.

-Hotel service is great. We had a problem when we arrived, but a service manager took care of it. He sent us a letter and met me when we checked out.
-View from the hotel is great. My mother wanted to have a good rest and she liked the green mountain view very much.
We had a next room’s sound problem but I can say it is a good hotel because of the good service.

High level resort, everything perfect

Check in was great despite how congested with a long line of wait. Check out was the worst while there was no waiting line at all, missed airport bus due to waiting for a reception to be available. Breakfast experience reminded me of being in an old school canteen, not at all elegant and food selections were average.

Had stayed at this hotel many times pre-pandemic but this was my first time back since Covid. It’s not the gem it was. Overall, the hotel is still very nice but an issue absolutely devastating to the experience is the overcrowded elevators. There simply aren’t enough and I ended up spending a great deal of my trip waiting on the elevators. This culminated in a horrific 20 minute journey trying to get down to the lobby to check out. I waited 10 minutes (as 3 elevators stopped on my floor that were completely full) before deciding to take an elevator up and then come back down. That elevator stopped on every floor down even though it was full. When I finally made it to the front desk I explained the situation and suggested they should manually override the elevators during busy periods to somewhat ameliorate the situation. The front desk associate didn’t seem to care and just nodded (in that I’m not really listening way). The breakfast buffet can also have long wait times. Bottom line is that this hotel is too crowded for its existing infrastructure and the staff no longer seem to care about guests. Sad to see what was such a nice hotel turn to junk post-Covid. Don’t stay here if you value your time.

The staff were truly fantastic in helping us with every query and ensuring that our stay was enjoyable. The rooms were lovely, spacious and comfortable with phenomenal views

Loved this hotel. Amazing view and staff. This property is a bit further away from main attractions and airport but there is a bus that you can hop on and off to go to the town below and also to train stations plus the airport bus also picks and drops in front of the hotel so that is very convenient.

From all the different hotels in Seoul, this hotel felt the most American which took away from the country’s charm. Breakfast buffet availability is nice, reserving next day airport taxi service is convenient and only a short walk to Nansam park.

Overall the staff is phenomenal but the property it’s lack lusting for the price. The staff is absolutely amazing! Young (concierge), in particular, was very helpful when I was in need of acquiring medication. She went above and beyond in finding me an open pharmacy on a Sunday!

The room size is unexpectedly small, especially the bath room, given it is a Grand Hyatt.

Lovely stay at the Hyatt, in a very picturesque location, however be warned if you want to walk to the closest metro station it is about 15 mins sloped.
Great services, beautiful hotel, wonderful staff. A shame there is an extra fee to use the sauna. Both pool were fantastic, including a very modern gym.
Bus stop just outside the hotel is very convenient, with the airport limousine coach dropping me right at the hotel doorstep from Icheon Airport.
