The Bathroom was very old fashion, the vanity was broken, the bathtub had a big stain and the shower had a door? to a mechanical area? very disappointing for a 5-star Hotel! over all the bathroom was terrible!

Dissapointed!!... price is too high for this hotel.
Room smells musty. Air conditioning dusty. And beds (sheets and pillows) were not clean. Also, the electrical outlets were a bit loose.
I am requesting a reduced rate per night to be Charged.
Thank you.

We stayed one night not sure if I could have stayed longer. We found roaches in the bathroom and in the bedroom. My friends room was even worse, they had to change rooms. The kitchen was very old and falling apart. I didn’t use it but the pool looked nice at night.

Overall, our experience was very good, with one qualification: limited number of staff spoke English, which made it a challenge for us to navigate through daily interaction with staff.

Well as we already know when traveling, many countries idea of service is not up to par with USA,neither is Bolivia.Butour complaints will be focused on the restaurant, the pool and the spa.1)Restaurant-on the menu it talks about thefood prepared by their executive chef.LET ME TELL YOU-the dinner gave us Food Poisoning.I believe it was the ceveche, because it just wasnt as fresh as we are used to,but believed it was ok to consume. My wife threw up twohours later, and spent the next two days with feeling awful and having 911 emergency diarrhea.I can not throw up dueto a stomach proceedure that prevents me from doing so.I spent the next several days with a low grade fevel, myskin feeling irritated, and waiting out the food going from my stomach to my intestines and finally out of my system. On top of all this, the next day was a holiday and all the pharmacies were closed. So we could not start an antibiotic untilwednesday. As a side bar,our main dish that evening was beef.It was not prepared properly and was tough and did not taste very good.I can cook better than this.On top of it all,we had to pay for it.2) I ventered down to the pool onwednesday, there was no towel station, and the pool was dirty, all kinds of stuff floating on top and sitting on the bottom.3)Spa was no experience, you had to call for an appointment to get a massage,or a sauna. The masseusecame from her home, and we had to pay the desk clerk for calling her.WOW.The massage was good after feelinglike CRAP

This hotel seems to have a good history and now it definitely needs some renovation.
Only receptionists speaks english as mostly with other Hotels in Santa Cruz.
Had a bad air-conditioner in the room and was repaired after i asked to get them fixed.
Breakfast is basic and nothing special.

The room was very large and comfortable, including a balcony, kitchen, room, bedroom and bathroom (although the bathroom was a little old).

Stayed 1 night for business and though an interesting hotel for its architecture did not meet my expectations for efficiency, practicality and common sense: No working WiFi, Elevators broken, nothing for a quick something to eat, no lobby to speak of, etc, etc. May work for the tourist exploring that area of Guadalajara but not for business.

This is my 3rd time staying at this hotel during a business trip to Santa Cruz. The arrival at the hotel was marred by the fact that the elevators don't go directly to all the floors, about ½ the rooms require walking up ½ a flight of stairs. This is not horrible, but no fun when you are carrying bags. The elevator closest to my room did not go to the 4th floor (requiring a walk up a ½ flight of stairs) because the 4th floor button was broken, so we went to the 5th floor and walked down a ½ flight of stairs. My impression is that this hotel is in need of upgrading because in general the facility is showing signs of age, worn carpets, banged up walls, etc. The room was comfortable and having a suite was nice because you had a nice kitchenette with a large table for eating and working. One of the A/C units had to be repaired because the fan made a loud clattering noise, but the facilities people repaired in about 30 minutes. Although I declined the offer to move to a new room, proper housekeeping procedures might have avoided this inconvenience. The lighting was OK, the bathroom was clean and there was a good selection of toiletries. One problem with the bathroom was that the shower controls were difficult to adjust and the hot water was extremely hot which is a potential scalding danger. I didn't eat at the hotel restaurant, so I can't offer any info there.

When I first arrived, the hotel did not have my reservation. The receptionist suggested that I had the wrong hotel. They proceeded to create a voucher of my credit card in case that they didn't find my reservation in their system. The staff was not too friendly.
On the way to the room, the elevator was small, when I reached my floor, the light of the hallway was burned. This made it very difficult to find my room.
The room was steamy, I turned on the AC. It took a long while to cool down the room.
I ordered room service. First they brought my glass of wine, then 20 minutes later they brought my burger and 20 minutes later brought the bill. A little stranger, seemed that they were not very organized.
All in all, for the price I paid, I would just prefer staying at Los Tajibos.

Sure one of the best hotels to stay. The internet was not very good, but you can connect your laptop into a cable inside the business center.

The hotel staff was very very nice and helpful. The internet could be a little faster but still worked. Location is good and several restaurants on the same street however cabs are inexpensive.
