Water in the room for drinking would be wonderful

It was great. Wish parking was more convenient, but I also wasn’t expecting to have to drive. Otherwise, all was good!

A cozy experience. I was blown away honestly ahout the small details and the service. We had a fireplace. Beautiful bathroom and overall 11/10.

Loved the hotel. Lots of character. Nice bathroom and shower, comfortable bed, good size room yet character of historic hotel room. So close to all the old town sights and everything was easy to walk to and see. Only minor issue is parking is not included and the entrance to the adjacent parking lot had an issue with the parking gate so had to go around the block to enter from the other side to park. It really was not a big issue. Did have to walk about 3 steps to get in to the lobby but there might be another way to enter if in wheelchair. Had an elevator once inside.

A beautiful rehab of an old building/hotel that that is built in the mid 19th century. The building itself is on the NATIONAL ARCHIVES. A nice Italian Restaurant is also located there. Staff was respectful and very helpful. From the 2nd floor or higher, an nice view of the Delaware River. Would stay there again.

Great location and a clean large room. What more could you want? Restaurant on property was phenomenal.

It was very clean, comfortable and very fairly priced. So close to a great asdortment of restaurants

Antonio and the front desk staff were very friendly and accommodating. I have a severe allergy, so I had to call beforehand and they were able to answer all of my questions. After checking out, they let me leave my luggage as I had meetings to attend. I’ll definitely stay at Penn’s View when I’m back in Philly.

We had an amazing time at Penn’s View as it’s located in the perfect spot at Penn’s Landing and Market Street. All the romance of Penn’s Landing along the Delaware promenade and all the history of Center City…all within walking distance. The hotel itself has a historic charm, good dining options, and a great staff that was super accommodating. This will be my official hotel when in Philly.

Loved my stay!
Staff was friendly!
Room was clean, and in walking distance to popular tourist attractions, close to the mall, and also located in an area with plenty of food options.

We enjoyed our stay, the room was spacious and clean, and the staff was very friendly and helpful… I would recommend it and I certainly would stay there again.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. Property abuts route 95 so can be very noisy. We had a room with no view of the street but was very quiet. Area very walkable to all the historic sites (Liberty Bell, Ben Franklin Museum, Constitution Center, Betty Ross house, etc). Subway within walking distance.

There was construction going on but didn’t bother us at all. It was great being right near the Penns landing bridge so you could take a nice walk and see the beautiful waterway .

The staff were very friendly. The room, the building and the property were very clean. There's a restaurant inside the hotel and some places to eat across the street. I would definitely stay again.

My FH surprised me with this visit to Philly and can I say, he didn’t disappoint! This beautiful hotel was not only so beautiful but the restaurant and staff were so inviting and knowledgeable about the place! For anyone wanting a small , friendly, welcoming place to visit, please make this hotel the go to!

The hotel was absolutely breath taking. I loved the retro furnishings and the bathroom was beautiful. Downtown philly is disgusting. Sidewalks run down, buildings covered in graffiti, homeless people every and the traffic and parking was some of the worst that I've ever seen.

This is an amazing hotel. The staff - from front desk to all maids we encountered - were outstanding. The room was very comfortable and very clean. Public parking lot is right next door. They are a little expensive at $35 per night but very convenient. The hotel is within walking distance to many tourist attractions. There is a great restaurant right at the hotel. Muffins and coffee were provided in the morning. They were very fresh and good. The only downside to the hotel was the noise from the highway. At times I felt as if I were trying to sleep right next to a formula one race track. Overall a very nice hotel. I would stay again but request a room on the opposite side of the highway.

Parking next door was full when we arrived.
We found free street parking though so it all worked out.!

The wife and I usually visit Philadelphia just for the day but this time we spent the night.
The Penn's View Hotel was a great choice to stay the night.
Antonio was super nice, polite and fun to interact with. He alone bumped it from a 4 star review to a 5 star review for us.
Rooms were just the right size, beds were comfortable and everything was clean.
Older hotel, seriously, this adds to ambiance and the character. Certainly nothing wrong and you wont miss the a-typical layout and furnishings of newer, corporate hotels.
Barely heard any traffic, so that was a bonus.
I think we will keep this place as a favorite. :)

Overall peaceful and loved the layout of the place

Friendly place and basic facilities as it’s a 3 star hotel. Our room was quiet as not close to the freeway but downside meant that there was only a view of a wall and the room was dark.

It's was in the heart of everything it's a nice quiet place I would go again

I loved the vintage decor, the comfortable bed, the spaciousness and cleanliness of the room. I did not like that there were no towel bars or hooks to hang your towel and wash cloth in the bathroom, also the hallow walls I could hear the people above my room walking and moving around and people talking in the hallway during the night. outside of that the staff was very friendly and the area was nice and quiet.

OMG, I cannot rave enough about the Panaroma (Penn’s View) Hotel. I thought I booked a King Suite with a Juliet balcony, but I guess there was a mix-up. Regardless, the Inn Manager, Antonio, made everything better by booking us what he considered the “Honeymoon Suite”…and boy did he wow us. It was soooo cute and romantic. I talked about it all weekend. Skylights, a jacuzzi tub, a nice fluffy king bed, and a great view. What more could you ask for? We’d just missed Reading Terminal upon arrival. So, we had dinner in the hotel to save the hassle. Definitely a vibe! Soft lighting, great menu selection, and attentive staff. We had shrimp scampi for the appetizer, my husband had the NY Strip, and I had the Veal. We finished the night off with the chocolate cake, and everything was great. We literally sent our compliments to chef afterwards. There is so much more to say, but not enough space to say it. Please go check it out for yourself. You will really be glad you did!

Great Old City location. Walkable to many historic sites and also right near the Market-Frankford line, so it's very easy to catch the El, transfer to the Broad St line for events at the Sports Complex in S. Philly. There is a parking lot right next door, $35/night when we were there, but it's got a weird leave your key system and you could get parked in. There's a regular multi-level garage less than 2 blocks away at 2nd and Chestnut that's cheaper ($26/night) and we feel was more convenient for coming and going.
The hotel is not cookie-cutter, rooms are unique and our king room was spacious. The two minor nitpicks were the A/C which blew right onto the bed and could not be easily re-directed or adjusted, and also the sheets were pilly in spots. We probably should have asked for new sheets, but we were busy having fun in the city.
We also ate at the hotel's Italian restaurant. Very good food and cocktails.
We visit Philly a lot and this place will be on the repeat list.

Would love some water fountains. There was a small stain on our bed. Everyone was so extremely friendly and helpful and it was a very cute ambiance. Worth the money you pay!
