There are many small things, that don't match a 4 star hotel. In my opinion it is a 2 star hotel. I think the management is bad, because so many things don't work proberly. Watching a football game in Rai1 is mor possible because the pictures hang every 3 seconds. The personnell don't know how to get bus tickets.
Thete are no cups at 7:30 available for breakfast. There are no don't disturb tags, therefore the cleaning personell is stepping in many times. Because of the old shape of the hotel you still use a key.

Wish I had been there longer than 1 night. Good location, quiet on outskirts of verona which bus stops close by.
Nice breakfast, big comfy room, with bed side lamps.

Good hotel, clean, modern. Good value for the money. Only downside is that it's some distance from the center of town with few dining options in the immediate area.

Spacious rooms, a little far from center. Yet somehow old. Decent breakfast.

Reception- very well, kindly and helpful personal.
Bar- very very well. Right person on the right place.
Breakfast. Think about to fill with food on the plates. It should be worth to change design. Some things ( not food) are very old and it is not good feelings.
Roooms- you really need to renovate a object. Very dirty walls and rofs, old carpets smell offuly. Even if you clean good it doesn't helps. Please change smell of your cleanings products. It smell strong and amoniac. Together euth old carpets smell offuly. We need to open window in few hours to get better air in our room.
And give to all a really bedclothes. Only the old blanket was not fresh and slero under this and only one sheet gave me very badly feelings that I sleep at the street. Sorry, but this was ofully.
And you need to have more real pictures on bokings sites. Pictures shows some other reality.

Breakfast is actually ok.
Lots of staff on reception but not very helpful / happy.

What you would expect from a budget hotel just outside of the city. Feels and looks older than it is but nice staff, smooth check-in and check-out and a surprisingly good breakfast.

The bed and pillows were really hard, the temperature in the room couldn’t be adjusted. There was mold all over the shower. The area where the hotel is isn’t clean and transportation is only public. Breakfast was good though!

The hotel has spacious and comfortable rooms. Staff is very polite. Breakfast was very good. We had dinner on the New Year’s Eve and it was not really up to our expectations. That, together with the location which was somewhat far from the centre ( piazza bra at 50 minutes walk) were the only drawbacks.

When we arrived in Verona we were initially concerned with location as the hotel is approx 3km from the center of city and main attractions. Fortunately there is excellent local bus service running every 30 min into the center of the city. The location turned out to be excellent, quiet, safe and the hotel was great. The staff were friendly and helpful and the hotel was great. Great affordable hotel. Excellent Buffet style breakfast.

We arrived a few hours early, expecting to be able to store our luggage, but hoping to be able to check-n in. The clerk at the desk made a call and learned that our room would be ready in 10 minutes. He went above and beyond the call of duty, and we really appreciated being able to check-in to the room early. The room was modern and spacious. We then obtained a map of Verona and instructions on taking the local bus into the town. Very easy to do this. Verona is an amazing, beautiful city. Upon our return, we were too exhausted to go out to eat, and there is a supermarket right next door where we were able to pick up some snacks. The breakfast next day was amazing, so many choices and something for everyone's diet. ALL the staff we encountered were professional, polite, and genuinely friendly and caring . It all starts at the top and management must be proud of their staff.

Maxim is nothing from the outside but quite lush inside! Staff were helpful & spoke ok English. Room was a good size but no balcony. Purple bathroom was ok, not much room in the shower but was good enough. Breakfast was good, lots of choice to eat and quality was good.

Good value - no frill clean rooms and great breakfast buffet! Very kind staff! Jean (John ) not sure of spelling gave us great advice about the visiting wineries and Lake Garda!

We have stayed here before. It's a bit of a walk into Verona but local bus services from next street up are regular (Sundays aside!). Get tickets from local tobacconist - book of 10 good value.
The hotel used to run a shuttle bush for the Opera, but this has stopped. Taxis are reasonable, though.
Room clean and spacious, bar service can be slow or even non-existant.
Advise early breakfast as queue for lone toaster can be challenging, especially when also having to queue for hot drinks machines which many find difficult to use. Then queue for juice, queue for food (you get the picture?). Put it this way, 20 years as a rugby forward comes in handy!

The hotel is on the outskirts of the city, but there are plenty of buses. The staff are very friendly, spotless rooms. Breakfast as a nice variety. The only problem for us was the absence of tea/coffee making facilities, otherwise our stay was excellent.

Three nights in Verona to attend an opera in the arena and visit the city. The hotel is about 3 km from the town center where many car parks are available (both free and at modest fees). Parking at or close to the hotel is available. The family room with one comfortable double bed and two fold-able single beds offers a reasonable amount of space and appropriate amenities.
