A nice hotel with much comfort and cleanliness. Bed was very comfortable, and rooms are modern. Stayed for only one night, but would like to stay longer because this is my kind of hotel. I wish that I had received their notification about a complimentary shuttle from the airport in time to take it. I don’t know when they sent it, but I saw the message 24 hours before I arrived, and when I inquired about it, I was told that I needed to give the hotel 36 hours advance notice. Taxi from airport was $35 USD. But the hotel is very nice along with the restaurant and the complimentary breakfast.

The shuttle driver was there ready to pick us up, brought us promptly to the hotel. The hotel is not as close as it described to the airport. It’s clean and the staff were friendly. Noisy outside but we are only here one night. The offer a shuttle back to the airport for our small plane trip to our week long destination.

We were just staying here for an extra day we had in San Jose, so we weren't looking for anything special, but it certainly met our needs and was affordable. Put it this way: we stayed at a different place that was more expensive on the back end of our trip, and we wished we had just booked this place again! The area itself is nothing special, but if you like to walk (we do), we consider it reasonable walking distance to the main pedestrian/shopping areas.

This was such a wonderful surprise right in the middle of everything - but also quiet, safe and very clean! The restaurant was very good and a full menu breakfast was included. Loved it!

I like this hotel. However it’s hit and miss on the rooms. They have air conditioning units. My first stay was heaven and the ac blew very cold. The 2nd trip the ac would cut off every few minutes and it never really cooled the room. I would never stay in room 414 again. I will say the free breakfast is excellent and delicious. Any price for this hotel under $100 is a steal in my opinion ( as long as you demand an air unit that actually works)

I enjoyed the breakfast. There was a nice variety of items available. The mene also had a variety of items and prices were reasonable. The only thing was that there was no fridge available in the rooms which meant could not keep leftovers.

We had the best stay at this hotel. We received complementary drinks and a discount on one of our meal during our stay. This was a 10 out of 10 stay. The hotel staff was amazing welcoming and very attentive. Joanna the afternoon front desk staff was utterly amazing she help me set up my boyfriend excursion during our 5 day stay for his birthday. The hotel has an amazing restaurant as all our meals were on point. The breakfast was also a plus. We have a great overall experience room services and staff made our stay amazing. Our room was ready awaiting our early check in as our view was just amazing. The only thing and it’s not that big was that there were only two English television stations available as I needed something to watch late night to fall asleep. Overall, this was an amazing hotel, amenities were on point and I will highly recommend everyone to stay as we will be back.

Very secure place. Love the on site restaurant and bar. Makes things easier when you’ve had a long day. Very clean and nice rooms. They have an outside seating area that plays music while you have your drinks. Right next to other bars.

A wonderful place to enjoy peace and quiet and a fantastic view of Arenal. Breakfast was delivered to the room and much better than expected. A higher off the ground and sturdy vehicle is needed.

The hotel is very basic, but conveniently close to the airport. Shuttle service was timely and fast. This hotel is a good option for overnight connections.

Loved the family room which had a connecting door between 2 rooms. 1 room had bed, kitchenette, bath; 2nd room had 2 beds in separate alcove areas and another bath. Loved the location near the park and good restaurants; enjoyed the free art museum in the park. Only disappointment was lack of hot water for showers.

We had reservation for 2 nights. Hotel refuses to let us stay the first night and also refuses to refund money for the second night. So we ended up having to stay at old strange place far from the city the first night and then move hotels for the second night. I do NOT recommend. Very bad all the way around. This hotel is not good for first time visitors. taxi ride from everything you want to see and do.

Lovely breakfast with local fruit. The fruit was heavenly. Coffee was the best. Beds were comfortable and the sheets were soft. Room was clean. Card key reader to get into the room did not work easily.

Very nice hotel in the area. Location is near a large park and the art museum, and it’s also walkable to restaurants and other amenities. Staff is really nice and helpful. A great choice for medical tourism.

Nice hotel nearby the Sabana park. Good beds and nice decoration. Breakfast is okay without a big choice, but it's okay if you are not too picky. Only really deceiving thing is that I was told I would be upgraded and receive a free drink at the time of booking. And I did not get an upgrade even if it seemed that the hotel was not full (really quiet) and the free drink was a small bottle of water.

We enjoyed our stay at this hotel; it is located close to the park and central market. The staff was really friendly and helpful. The food was really good at this hotel, even better than some of the restaurants in the area. It is always good to know a little of the language you’re traveling too. It was perfect for me to practice my Spanish but there was slight miss understanding at the end. It turns it out it was my fault but I wish there was someone there to explain it to me. Everything worked out and I would recommend this place for location, staff and food!

This hotel is in the center of San José with private and secure parking. The family suite was super clean, spacious and perfect for our family of 5. We only stayed one night before leaving for the southern zone but we were very happy with this stay and would recommend!

It was all fine but nothing extraordinary. Huge parking area if you have a car (in Costa Rica I have found hotel parking at a premium). Conveniently near La Sabana park.
