Not a safe area around, pool small and smell chlorine very strong, breakfast was good, carpet inside rooms stinks, poor supply of toiletries

Thought it was going to be a newer hotel but it wasn't. Not really pleased with exercise equipment, low quality and not much to use. Pool very small and filled with little children - no place for teenage family members. Not very pleased with price either, should have looked closer at other hotels in the area. Will never stay at this hotel again.

Great staff. Very comfortable room

The suite satisfied our needs and staff was very friendly. The room was clean and beds comfortable. Some signs of wear and tear that could use upgraded but was fine for our 3 night stay.

Quiet property in a nice setting very close to New London. The staff was very accommodating when I arrived in the middle of the night. My only complaint is that the property seems tired. My room had a musty smell when I arrived and the sink, shower, and toilet need to be updated. Otherwise, it was clean and well-maintained.

The people were nice. Hotel was off freeway, but difficult to get in and out of. Felt more like a 2 star hotel

Staff was great. Friendly & quick to deliver a hairdryer. Breakfast was good with fresh blueberries. Bathroom sink light did not work. Room was simple, accessible & suited our needs.

Floor in main lobby area was dirty and wet Fold out sofa required us to move the only dresser in the room. The mattress on the fold out was worn, old and dirty as were the cushions for the couch We didn’t have a lot of time as we were delivering our son to the US coast guard academy so we had to take what we had but it was not an experience I can recommend nor do I wish to repeat.

We had a great stay as we were up for a weddings. Room was super clean and very large for the price!

Good value

Hotel was well maintained and located close to the highway for easy travel to our locations of interest (Mystic and Essex Train). The pool was in great condition, and the included breakfast included multiple options for someone who is GF to not miss out on eating.

After staying at other hotels in area over the last few years for personal business. It was one of the nicest stays. Quiet even though close to a highway. The Suite layout was nice and livable. Not fancy but nice breakfast. Would stay there again. Comfortable. AC fan was a bit noisy.

Very comfortable and cleanly. Went to CT on a family trip with my sister and daughters. We had a great stay. Lots of amenities. The pool was warm and the breakfast was delicious. Will definitely stay again!

Not in mystic at all. Hotel name is deceiving

Very relaxing and conveniently located. Only critical suggestion was to have lights in the back road sign for the hotel. That back road was dark and I went past your hotel sign and had to turn back. Hopefully there is a way to put some lights there. I’ll be back for a stay in the future. Keep up the terrific hospitality! Thank you, Dr. Chen

I was disappointed since this is a Marriot. The hotel itself is dated and the rooms and bathroom as well. The handicapped bathroom shower arm was broken and looked as if it was glued. and the bathtub and tile were old. The room felt worn and tired. The curtain was ripped it didnt fit the window correctly, the tv was placed in a weird spot and the other tv in the bedroom was too small for viewing. The beds were queens as avertised but were not, just a bit over a full size, I was told they were "hotel queens" they are a bit smaller than a queen and is standard in the industry. Bull crap. Every hotel I stay at have a standard queen bed, this Marriot is old and when they do update will hopefully upgrade to a real queen sized bed. Also, they sheets were too big, king sheets on one bed and the other bed the sheet was too small, a full size which is for the pull out, it barely fit the bed. It was a very cramped sleep and not cool enough in the room as it only went down to 66 degrees. Also a stain on one of the bedcovers. The pool was small had glass in the bottom of it and my daughter almost hurt herself. The morning reception guy was cold, rude and distant. The breakfast room was crowded but well stocked and seemed fresh enough except for the fruit . The night time clerk was friendly and helpful. I didnt like the location but it might be convient for others. I feel ripped off a bit as the room was $299 plus fees and taxes!!!!! Hate to write reviews like this but I was not happy

The property was very accommodating for everyone. The staff has been great each and every time we’ve been there.

This property is conveniently located to Connecticut College. The check in was smooth. The coffee in the morning was good. The pull-out sofa and the accompanying mattress were dirty.
